I know this thread is focused solely on the Lynx, but why on Earth is the Drift Tampa in the sports class? It would be so much better in the muscles class, and it would be able to compete with the top muscle cars. It's like the Blista Compact and Schafter V12 all over again! Not only that, but the Seven-70 is $1,000,000 cheaper than the Lynx and it performs way better. I swear, does this company ever think sh*t through? Anyway, that's another subject. The fact is, there has been tons of other stuff for sale that isn't the best, and even though they've been very expensive people have been happy to buy them. However the character it does have comes from it's handling which I enjoyed a lot on the couple of test races I did with it. It doesn't have enough about it to justify a purchase though, even though it's brand new I'm struggle to muster much enthusiasm. Actually, I think the Lynx may go well in the coupes class, especially since it's quite close to the Zion in terms of lap time (the Zion is still a little quicker). It would most certainly be able to compete with the top coupe cars around a track, but it would absolutely dominate in a track with more straights and fewer tight corners and turns, which can be considered the downside, e.g. the airport track. Not only that, but it's manufactured by Ocelot, just like the F620 and the Jackal, both of which are coupes, also. However, it would be very expensive for a coupe car. Maybe the price was a mistake and it was supposed to be only 730k, but now that they know that people will actually buy stuff even at this price, I'm worried that this will inflate the prices of all future released cars. Since people are down to spend almost 2 million for a sports car, what is next? 3 for a classic? 4 for a super? Now this is post is not directed at anyone here, I'm not calling shots at anyone who bought the car and saying you shouldn't do it, because let's face it, people with modded accounts would buy it regardless and the effect would be the same. It gives them soul, But the steering wheel position was a bit too much considering i spend all my time in 1st person. If its what I think it is then its probably the modeling/texture error on one of the diffuser blades (third from the right). But it's truly a good car.Mine most certainly is about the price, and as another forum member posted, the fact that many are willing to spend 1.7 M on a sports class car worries me about what rockstar will do with that information. I know inflation will trend ever upwards but at what rate now? In perspective, this also doesn't matter too much. It's a game. It will die at some point when GTA 6 releases at the very least. In regards to the Lynx being based off a GT car I agree. But the ability to sport a livery should indicate some presence of performance, and not just on par with the V6 f-type offering. For 1.7 M I would expect some SVR magic or xkr gt3 variant inspirations. Not sure I see/feel the similarities between this car I game and it's RL counterpart in terms of feel or performance. Nonetheless I know that I'll still probably give in at some point. Most likely when I'm bored of the game again and new releases become more and more spaced out. Yup, but that only applies to one bumper option, so not hard to avoid, a lot easier to avoid than the hubs clipping through some rims, which is easier to avoid than that messed up interior. Honestly, as much as i want to like it, 1.7 million and that eyesore of an interior mean its simply not going to happen unless its on sale at some point. Great looking car from the outside, give a few oversights, but jesus Rockstar, is it that hard to properly position a dashboard?
