VIDEO DEMO

Hello Today I want to provide a small project that I created weeks ago out of sheer boredom, this mod adds to your gta sa a "planet" ball in your world. The texture is changing the planet will change, if you were first moon putting a texture of Mars ... Mars will become the model is not great because of the limit of 250 meters, when I have time I'm going to create more models together to create a planet very largest and explorable.

To install the mod will serve only three apps. Med "Map Editor" and "TxDWorkShop" and "ImgTool"
install .:
1) Open TXDWork.
2) Open File in Particle Models folder of your gta
3) Remove the coronamoon file, open gimp / photoshop the image is deleted, as long as there is an image with a transparent background and saved in .png.
4) Go back to TXDWork coronamoon and changed the image with the one just adapted.
"This is done to prevent you see two moons while playing"
5) Open ImgTool and imported the 3 files .dff .txd .col
6) Take a growing archive Rebuild through ImgTool
7) Open Med and go to add your model in different areas of the map, the height of the Z position I would advise you to place between 250 up to 270.
8) As it is a model implemented by moving the map to the model could disappear, so it would be useful to use a timecyc that increases the focal length varies map so you can see far away the model.
9) To make the most accurate possible model would be appropriate to put a timer object "or from what time to what time the object will appear" es: 19:00 p.m - 05 a.m
10) Save and wait and see a new moon.

Here I leave you the various images.
Thank you

Good job. The cops will never think to look for me on the moon after robbing a store.

Ty Man, Being that if you place the moon on a Z axis of about 250, each helicopter will be difficult to get there, but you can still go and walk on the planet, when I have time I thought to triple the size of the planet and add ester eggs, Roover, and shuttel space. Making a real explorable map.

Looks cool, so it's possible to walk around like on a circle or you going to fall?

Thanks for your support, you can walk in a linear fashion, for a short distance, still can not be walked around, the model is solid. If I find someone good who can create me a mod "with the gravity" it would be great. As mentioned this is a test, when I have time the model will be much bigger, much wider and you can explore a good area without falling down. But still it is possible to walk and stand on the moon.

maybe you can play with LODs? like make the lod a sphere, but when you actually land you have a big map with borders (crates maybe?)

Yes, my idea was to work with LODs, to work with a very large map object, but there is always a problem that come to a point if I can not create a gravity model, i've to create invisible walls, not to drop the character down from the moon

Cool idea. I aint even mad of how you put the colored thingies together, meow. Have not seen a mod like this before.

Making it collidable? I don't know about that :/ Seems like a funny idea.

Ty man, the mod is collidable :D the mod have a collision, but if you move sideways risks to fall just because the moon is round

Buona idea.

Adesso devi aggiungere più planeti come Jupiter o Saturn.

This is pretty unusual. Is there anyways you can trick the game engine into creating gravity around the object or is that not possible? It would just be cool running to the southern side and looking 'up' at the earth/map!
