HD Claude Speed

The Silent Killer is back, this time in the streets of Los Santos. Claude is an add-on ped, meaning you won't be replacing anyone.

Claude has 4 shirts, 4 pants, and 2 pairs of shoes for him specifically. The outfits are:



Tops:

1. Default GTA3 Jacket

2. GTA SA Jacket

3. Hoodie (4 Colors)

4. Prison Outfit

Bottoms:

1. Default GTA3 Green Pants

2. Green Army Camo Pants

3. Blue Jeans

4. Prison Pants

Shoes:

1. Default Blue GTA3 Shoes

2. GTASA Shoes (4 colors)



--DOWNLOAD--

Installation is in the Readme.

You have to spawn him using the Simple Native Trainer, and by selecting "Spawn model by model name" option. His model name is player_claude

Please give me any feedback or crashes so I can work to fix them :)

Known Issues: I wouldn't recommend combining Michaels shirts with Claude's pants, etc. because Claude's outfits are made specifically for his body.
Prison outfit is on slot 5 instead of 4

When falling Claude will scream, there is nothing I can do about this right now.

If you are using this with my Tommy Vercetti mod or any other add on peds, make sure that you use the gameconfig.xml from this mod

There is a problem with that. He is converting the Fidox models. And Fidox did not make CJ mod. I think the Almico's CJ mod is coming soon.

With hours of changing model files and texturing, I successfully replaced Franklin with Claude.

I'm working on a replacement for Trevor with working facial animations, which is pretty much finished, so you can have Tommy as Michael, CJ as Franklin, and Claude for Trevor

But I like Trevor.. :(

 

Are you going to make his mouth move properly with teeth and everything? When I replaced Franklin his lips were stuck together so that his lower lip stretched when he talked.

Lunchxbles can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think animations has anything to do with his model conversion.

 

Facial animations don't work for the addon version because it is using a custom ped.meta entry. There are many character traits defined in that ped.meta such as walk animation for example.

 

The reason facial animations work with the replacement model is because its using one of the main protagonist ped.meta entries which has specific animation groups for that character.

 

Unfortunately we still do not have access to the main ped.meta file so this can't be fixed yet. That file contains a lot of useful information that will really open up add-on character modding.

facial animations don't work on the ped files since I rigged the head for Trevor, since they aren't really needed, but they will be on the player replacement model of course

But will you keep working on the ped version? Because not all the people want to replace Trevor.
