S4X Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) Now that I've completed all (I think) stunt races and won the Premium Race, I just want to spill my brain here:- Catchup feels even more cancerous on these races.- The bike physics/handling/glued characted/makeyourchoice on the Stunt Bike races is ridiculous. I don't know if it's even possible to fall of the bike on those races.- It's cool when a session split happens on Premium Race and leaves only you and one other guy 30 secs behind you.- If you know how to drive, you could make a good money out of these races since there are so many players (at the moment) and even betting seems to happen quite often. Won one race and got 28k for winning + ~28k from bets (the image below is from different race). Of course can't beat pac stan profits if you're into that, but I'm not.- The new cars seem not to be that competitive. I don't know if I just haven't seen any modded new cars but the Jester/Massacro in sports and the Osiris/T20/X80 in Supers have been mostly dominating these races. Broughy will probably tell how it really is.- The new tracks are quite fun, some of them I'd put into the REAL NICE category: - Canyon Crossing: Feels like it's completely out of GTA because of the race tracks placed through the canyon. Beautiful. - East Coast: Nice splashes of water when the tracks are low enough. - Racing Alley: Lots of pipes with obstacles and some nice steep hills. - Trench I: As the CC, feels completely out of GTA and has a weird vibe in it. There are a lot new cars I would love to add to my collection but all 5 of my garages are already filled and have been meticulously organized and color coordinated. Even if I were to sell a few cars, the new additions wouldn't fit any of the organizational themes. I figure we'll just have to wait it out, possibly indefinitely, for another property slot. You know Bull Shark Testosterone is Brucie's business, right? And given that Brucie is a gear head, it would sorta make sense that he would sponsor race cars... It would even sound smart if it wasn't...stupid.I mean, if you ever played GTA:O, you obviously heard/know about Shark Cards. And if you ever saw them (which is not hard, they are at menu store in-game), you'll know these logos, are from those cards. So, it become obvious they are not from Brucie's testosterone. I like the way the R* make its propaganda. Really. Funny how easily I could miss something like that, despite being level 148 with 16 days play time... Maybe shark cards aren't as big of a deal as the cry babies on this forum make them out to be? They are one of main reasons of high prices. Have next to no mods and look like sh*t without the liveries. With the exception of the la looking car. I don't believe any of them to be any faster than any previous cars and suffer from major wheelspin. And no 6th garage. The chopperesque bike is quite fast however even stock. The raptor rally truck is awesome though but would be nice to ditch the spare tires for a more street look. Not super impressed. The progeny back end is hideously long as well. My price assumption was right in a way for the rally cars. They would cost 300000 to 400000. Then if it where to be a bennys vehicle, the upgrade would cost an extra 300000. Is it just me or was everyone else not expecting this until at least late July - early/mid August? New Era for Rockstar North under the new managements (the 7 other Rockstar game studios are sure helping but developing their own projects especially Rockstar San Diego). MrYoungGun Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Love this update, making money hand over fist in these races by beating the influx of weak drivers and their choice to use the new cars which aren't competitive without upgrades.
