Just got the Prison Bus alongside the black Laundromat (with red luster).

Man, it was a bitch, one of them would sometimes disappear, cops would sometimes come, I'd lose the bike sometimes, it was a bullsh*t. Still, acquiring them was fun.

I must of been lucky since I got both of them first try and took about 20 minutes or so in total...That is, 20 minutes for pushing, not counting the time it took to get out of the Prison, fetch the Fire Truck and start pushing both the Vehicles out into the road with that annoying alarm in the Prison driving me crazy! :D:p

When you say disappear, do you mean when pushing them back to Brian's Safehouse or do you mean disappear AT the Safehouse once the Mission was passed? I never got a Wanted Level when doing this task, either, but I am sure I got lucky. Son Of Morph said he even had the Laundromat or something catch on fire and had to use the Fire Truck's Water Hose to put it out, lol...This also never happened to me. I took my time, was gentle, always keeping camera on both Vehicles, etc, etc. Johnny's Hexer disappeared? Seriously? One time, before the Fire Truck Method was known, just for sh*ts and giggles, I tried pushing the Laundromat ONLY back to Brian's and pass the Mission and in the process, I failed the Mission. How? It literally said in Red Letters that one of the Gang Members "wrecked their Bike." How? By crashing into the Vehicles over and over as I pushed them. So yeah, a lot can go wrong obtaining these, but it's certainly an awesome task and when you succeed it feels great. Like you said in PM, this certainly is the hardest task in the entire IV Trilogy Games...

Hey, do any of you guys know if you must drive to the contact's location during 'Communication Breakdown' to obtain the Glitched Dukes? Because every time I taxi it, it always has the scoop. Any suggestions?

Well, as always, when it comes to GTA, I like to keep certain Stats to a minimum and "Taxis Hailed" Stat as well as anything else to do with Taxis like how many you taken to a location, is something I don't do. To keep all of these Stats to remain at 0, I don't use Taxis to get around the map "faster." I drive every where. Every time I drive to the Dukes during this Mission, it doesn't have the Hood Scoop. It sometimes does, but you just reload if that is the case. I am not sure if a Taxi Ride forces it to spawn WITH IT 100% OF THE TIME or not, but I know for certain if you just drive there, it can easily be NE. I've seen it a handful of times now, but never was interested in getting it. But when I start TLaD in about 2-3 weeks from now, I am doing two 100% Saves and getting EVERYTHING in this game once and for all and finalizing my work with TLaD, so I will be getting it in a few weeks...

1. What does NE stand for? No Engine? If that's the case, it technically does still have an engine.

2. I just tried driving their a couple times, and you know what spawns? It's kind of funny actually, not the No Scoop Dukes, but the Dukes that spawns with no scoop! The one that spawns on the streets. Obviously this isn't the one, since the real one has a clear hole in the hood.

NE means No Extra. It's missing "extra" Parts, like this Hood Scoop. NE Taxi, missing a Light, NE NRG-500, missing Engine and exhausts, etc, etc. NE always means No Extra.

Yeah, the NE Dukes will have a "hole" where the Hood Scoop should be and look usual...

Ok Thanks. Any suggestions on getting the NE Dukes? Or do I have to stick it out and keep reloading like the guide says? Also how do you known which TLAD versions allow you to store cars in Luis' spot? I have the Complete Edition on PS3.

Yeah, just keep reloading and driving to the Dukes. Eventually it's NE. Nothing enhances the occurrence. It's either NE or not. Just reload until it happens.

I have Episodes from Liberty City (TLaD and TBoGT on the same Disc, without IV as I have IV separately) and my Version can store 16 in TLaD/TBoGT each. So I'd only imagine the Complete Edition, which is even NEWER should be able to store 16 in TLaD/TBoGT as well...

Try it out and see for yourself Claude...But The Complete Edition should have Luis' Parking Spaces to use, unless if you're playing PC, which apparently doesn't have them, lol...I can't confirm, though. Anyone on PC can easily park something there and see if it remains...All these Parking Spaces are available from the start of a New Game and all the way through...

No idea about the NE Dukes...All I know is it's NE and how to get it...

The only reason I haven't checked for myself is because I don't know where his parking spot is, as I have not started my TBOGT play though.

Ah, I see, well it's literally a block away from where Playboy X's Penthouse is in Algonquin. So close, that you can run on foot between the 2 Parking Spaces in all of 10-15 Seconds, literally...If it's available, you should see the Yellow Block saying "Reserved Parking Only" or something like the rest of them...

Yeah, that's the Safehouse. Looks to me like a Black Oracle is parked there. This is NOT a Special Vehicle in TLaD. Can be found in traffic...

Furthermore, I plan to start my 1st of 2 TLaD 100% Save Files in the coming days. First I need to get used to the HD Era Controls and Physics before I start, though, as I haven't played this stuff since 2016...

I need confirmation that the Lustered Black Stretch in TLaD is truly Special. The Oracle is fake of course...

I also need confirmation if the EC Charcoal Black Gang Burrito is truly EC. EC meaning that the Gang Burrito's Colors can be replicated with Pay and Spray... How do the non-EC Versions of the Gang Burrito even look like?

For the Gang Burrito, the EC Charcoal Black is EC cuz Pay and Spray and when it's NOT EC, gives some sh*tty looking hood to it. It's like a dull, worn, Grey Color. Like how the Black/Orange and Blue/White Gang Burrito is, the NON-EC Gang Burrito has dual Colors like that, but are Grey-ish in comparison. Charcoal Black, like Black/Orange and White/Blue are surely EC...

Also guess what? I just found the Black Oracle in traffic. Compared them side by side, and it's the same thing. So now it's 100% for sure to be fake...

I reloaded, even, just to be sure and found it again and compared them in best sunlight with 360 degrees top down view with ALL angles and surely identical. Now gonna confirm the Lustered Stretch...

EDIT: Confirmed! The Stretch IS real. I have been driving around for 45 Minutes now in my Black Stretch with Luster from the Mission and I keep passing either White/Grey, Gold/Yellow, Black/Grey Stretches, some with Luster, some without, but when you pull up to the darkest of the dark Stretches in traffic, NONE of them are Midnight Black like the one from the Mission is like. However, the Luster actually seems the SAME on the Darker Stretches in traffic. Again, with top down camera angle and moving it all around to different angles, I see the SAME Luster, but the BASE COLOR IS DIFFERENT. I am not 100% sure on the Luster being special, but certainly Black seems special. I have not seen a single Full, Midnight Black Stretch in traffic at all. Just these darker colored Stretches with the same Luster (or it looks to me) in traffic, but never are BLACK in Color. So to me, it's confirmed. Whether it's the Luster or the Black Base Color, the Stretch from Diamonds in the Rough IS Special indeed...

Luis' parking spot doesn't exist in TLaD on the PC version. It sucks, I know.

Luckily TLaD doesn't have so much awesome special vehicles.

On the list of special vehicles, it says that the black Oracle, along with the Huntley, are EC*

And is it actually EC? No. The Black Oracle from the Stubbs' Laundry Missions is not EC... Lancet had them in his Guide on GameFAQs and Mors put it there, but when he gave me the Guides I fixed the List and removed the Black Oracle as it's not Special... I also added the Gang Wars Vehicles.

About the Hakuchou Custom and Double T Custom Bikes, they're not really Unique as you can get them always after 100%... I should remove those from the Guide.

Black Oracle is 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% FAKE. I've double confirmed that by driving it around until I found a match in traffic and compared them in perfect, sunny weather conditions in daylight. Wait, didn't I already say this? No need to repeat, just read what people said already. I was also the one who told Lancet Jades it was fake, thus now in his Guide on Gamefaqs, he states that it might be fake, but this was BEFORE I compared it side by side to that of what I found in traffic, which I only did 2 days ago. Now that I know it as a FACT and not an assumption, I can let him know and he can fully remove it from his Guide. I bet my life on it that it's fake. That's how sure I am on this one.

I also confirmed the Lustered Black Stretch from Diamonds in the Rough which I had suspicion was not real months back, but low and behold it IS real. Again, I already said this. No need for a broken record on repeat. Read someone's comments, let them sink in, move on. Black Oracle is fake, Lustered Black Stretch is real.

Everything else looks to be real, as well. There is a grand total of 23 Special Vehicles that are ONE TIME ONLY in TLaD and today I am starting my 1st of 2 100% Save Files and getting the first 16 of them while in my 2nd Save, I will get the remaining 7 + 9 Rare Vehicles from Gang Wars to fill the remaining spaces to give me 16 in that Save, too. So when all is said and done with these 2 Saves, TLaD will be crossed off my to-do-list and it's done for good and will work on TBoGT stuff next...

EDIT: 49.55% Completion, 0 Deaths, 0 Busted, 0 Cheats, 0 Missions Failed, 0 Pay and Spray Visits, 0 Times Saved, 10:25 Total Playing Time, and 2 out of 16 Special Vehicles. Backed it up on my USB Drive.

So far I got the EC Diabolus from It's War and the Lustered Schafter with Silver Grill from Politics. The Schafter looks awesome with this deep, very dark and rich Wine Red Color I have on it. Reloaded for the proper Luster I wanted, of course. Now I will take a break from the Story and Special Vehicles and work on 50 Gang Wars until they are finished...

I decided to make a new Post instead of editing my one above since this is really important and starting to piss me off with these HD Era GTA's...

So I was working on Gang Wars earlier (so far 25 out of 50 are complete) and guess what showed up during a Russian Gang War (Cruising)? A Lustered Schafter with Silver Grill! You know, like the one in Politics. It had a Yellow/Gold Luster to it, though, and is NOT the same one I personally have in my Save, so that is good news, HOWEVER, beware that the same Schafter in Politics CAN have this Yellow/Gold Luster on it, making it an IDENTICAL Vehicle seen in Gang Wars and ultimately NOT special and just a "Rare" Vehicle.

Furthermore, again in a Russian Cruising War, I saw a Black Stretch, however, it had NO Luster at all. But it DID have the same exact pitch Black Color like the Stretch in Diamonds in the Rough. Overall, the Stretch in Diamonds in the Rough is STILL considered special since the Combination of Black Base Color and this Gold Luster simultaneously has not been found on any Stretches, even from Gang Wars.

I also am pretty sure I spotted TWO Black Huntley Sports in traffic. Since it was night time, I couldn't exactly tell with this one to be 100% sure and confident, but I am pretty sure that even the EC Black Huntley Sport from Stubbs' Missions is bullsh*t and will have to confirm that in the coming few days when I get to that part of the game and doing his Side Missions.

Like seriously, how many Special Vehicles that we know for CERTAIN are actually special in this game? What have people been doing all these years that the game has been released? Just making guesses and then writing them down on the Internet so people believe them? This is now my 5th time through TLaD and I am mostly redoing it so many times due to stuff becoming fake and/or new Methods being found, like the Fire Truck Method for the Laundromat/Prison Bus in Get Lost.

To be honest, I don't believe ANY of the EC Vehicles and even Lustered Vehicles in this game until someone actually proves it. Taking their word for it cuz they are "well known" in the community and with Special Vehicles isn't going to fly anymore. Everyone's guessing without any proof...

Well, it would depend on the LUSTER you have for your Schafter. It also would depend on if there is MORE Lusters which spawn during Russian Gang Wars that can be on the Schafter. To be honest, I sort of feel like there is only ONE Luster that can spawn on the Russian Gang War Schafters and that is the Gold/Yellow, almost Orange. In fact, I have this Luster on my Schafter in my OLD Save:

EfhlMnM.jpg?1

If you have a Schafter with this Yellow/Gold Luster, then it's just a Rare Vehicle and infinitely can be obtained and found in Gang Wars, but if you have a DIFFERENT Luster, only available in Politics, then it IS still special. Silver Grills, however, are found on ALL Russian Schafters in Gang Wars so this feature isn't even special, basically. It's only the LUSTER on said Schafter from Politics making it special and one time only. For me, I have some rich, dark Wine Red, almost Purple Color on my Schafter and it's indeed special and doesn't spawn in Gang Wars. If memory serves me correct, there is only one Lustered Schafter in Gang Wars against the Russians and it's for sure a Gold/Yellow. I am not sure if OTHER Lusters can spawn, but certainly Gold/Yellow and it's all I've seen to date, so that is a good sign that it's probably the only Luster Color, but I will continue to be observant when I continue with Gang Wars to truly get to the bottom of this stuff...

Gang Wars, like Drug Wars actually piss me off in these games, since there is so many combinations and different Vehicles to be found, BUT some of them are also obtainable through the Story and if there is an identical match, then that makes one less Special Vehicle to obtain in the game, which sucks, as I love obtaining them all and the less there is, the worse it is...

Btw, about the EC Black Huntley Sport...I think what I saw was a Black Huntley Sport.....WITH A LUSTER and the one from the Stubbs Side Mission does NOT have a Luster, which means it's still special. Black Huntley Sports spawn in traffic no doubt, but all of them seem to have a Luster to them. I have not found a single one yet that didn't have a Luster yet and I drove around for a couple hours yesterday trying to find one like that...

EDIT: 49.55% Completion, 0 Deaths, 0 Busted, 0 Cheats, 0 Missions Failed, 0 Pay and Spray Visits, 0 Times Saved, 13:26 Total Playing Time, and 2 out of 16 Special Vehicles. Backed it up on my USB Drive.

Finally, all 50 Gang Wars are complete, so now I can continue with the Story, Stubbs' Dirty Laundry Side Missions and Random Encounters and quickly get the remaining Special Vehicles and work my way up to Get Lost for the Unique/EC/Lustered Laundromat and Unique Prison Bus and pass the final Mission for 100% Completion. I only plan to do 25 Gang Wars in the 2nd Save File.

Btw, I saw a very similar looking Blue Colored Rhapsody in traffic like the EC Rhapsody in Off Route but can't be certain on if it's the exact match or not. Seriously, EC Vehicles and Lustered Vehicles in the HD Era are pure nonsense...All unconfirmed...

Just a note about lusters and the black Schafters:

While the gang wars Russian Schafter may have a gold/yellow luster, there are multiple color values for that shade of luster. So there are yellow and gold lusters that ARE still unique. Only the specific one used on Russian gang wars Schafters is not unique. Of course, the catch is having some way to actually prove that a gold/yellow luster isn't the same one as the Russians' car, which would probably require a save editor. But still, it's not quite the crisis of uniqueness that it seems at first.

Lethal Vaccine

That is true. Someone once told me that my Lustered PMP 600 in TBoGT that has a Blue Luster is fake and spawns in traffic, but when they obtained it and a Blue Lustered PMP 600 from traffic, both Lusters were Blue in the Save Editor, but not the SAME Blue. The one I had was like a Crystal Blue or something while the other wasn't. I also have that Green Lustered PMP 600 from Clay PG Jackson Club Management Mission, however, I also don't think it's the SAME Green Luster found in Drug Wars or in traffic. Mine is like a Lemon-Lime looking Green Luster...The other Green Luster is much darker either in traffic or in Drug Wars.

All I know is what spawned during a Gang War for me on that Schafter surely looked bloody similar to that of what you see in my old Photo above. But this time I kept reloading during Politics until I got a Wine Red/Purple looking Luster which looks amazing on the Schafter. You'll see it when I finish the Save and once again take the Photos of all 16. I should be done in 3-4 days...

EDIT: BE CAREFUL WITH THE LUSTERED TURISMO FROM DAVE GROSSMAN RANDOM ENCOUNTER!!!! It doesn't always spawn in the specific Red Luster which makes it special. Sometimes it spawns with the Taxi Yellow Luster which is NOT SPECIAL for this Turismo and that Taxi Yellow Luster is found on traffic Turismos!!! So you must reload to get the proper Luster to spawn. From what I can see, only the Taxi Yellow Luster OR the Cabaret Red Luster appear on this Turismo. It doesn't look like any other Luster can spawn. But it's a 50/50 chance you spawn the WRONG one, so don't waste your time. Only the Cabaret Red Luster is special!!!

78.41% Completion, 0 Deaths, 0 Busted, 0 Cheats, 0 Missions Failed, 0 Pay and Spray Visits, 0 Times Saved, 15:49 Total Playing Time, and 9 out of 16 Special Vehicles. Backed it up on my USB Drive.

The Only Special Vehicles Left: Lustered Stretch, EC Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill, Unique/EC/Lustered Laundromat, Unique Prison Bus, EC Bati 800, EC Wolfsbane, and EC Nightblade

Should be done in the next 2-3 days I suppose. I hope Get Lost and the final 2 Special Vehicles won't give me troubles. I got them first try last time, but you never know. A lot can go wrong very quickly with those...

EDIT 2: 97.27% Completion, 0 Deaths, 0 Busted, 0 Cheats, 0 Missions Failed, 0 Pay and Spray Visits, 0 Times Saved, 17:44 Total Playing Time, and 14 out of 16 Special Vehicles. Backed it up on my USB Drive.

Photos should be up tomorrow as all I need to do now is pass Get Lost and obtain the Unique/EC/Lustered Laudromat and Unique Prison Bus at the same time! :) My second time doing this...

I can't wait for the 2nd Save File and finishing TLaD up for good and moving onto TBoGT...

It's hard to see the Blue Luster on my Laundromat unlike the other three Lustered Vehicles I have, however, I can assure you it's there. It seems this particular Blue I have on it looks better when it's night time. For instance, lets say it's 23:00 or something and I hop on Johnny's Hexer and have the Headlight shining on the Laundromat, you can see the Blue very easily and clearly, but during the day time, the sunlight seems to drown out the Blue Luster.

Anyways, I will start the final, 2nd Save File for TLaD on Monday.

TLaD 2nd Save File Special Vehicles:

EC Diabolus, EC Yankee (Unique Variation), EC Diabolus, Unique Roman's Taxi, EC Zombie, EC Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill, NE Dukes, EC Gang Burrito, EC Slamvan, EC Comet, EC Futo, EC Hakumai, NE Mule, EC Hybrid Packer, Lustered Sentinel, Lustered PMP 600

All the Mission Failure Special Vehicles as well as Rare Gang War Vehicles will be obtained in this 2nd Save File. I wanted to keep the 1st Save completely clean from any Failures and also go for 16 one time only Special Vehicles. I was also 58 Minutes quicker in terms of the Total Playing Time this time around compared to my old 1st Save File...

To be honest the Laundromat and Prison Bus are piss easy from Get Lost. They only take about 30 minutes or so and like last time, I got them first try again. The only annoying part is the f*cking moron Bikers who are constantly getting in the way and running into the Laundromat and Prison Bus while you use the Fire Truck and try and push them back to Brian's Safehouse...

Awesome Save and it's awesome that you confirmed some things like Lusters in TLaD! I like the Wine Red Luster on the Russian Schafter and the Blue Luster on the Laudromat (which I can't really see from the Photo though)! Some people really need to confirm the Lusters in the HD Era Games... Like how you found out that the Cabaret Red Luster is special on the Turismo, while the Yellow one isn't... As always, great work and awesome how you've done 50 Gang Wars, which are the bulk of the Total Playing Time in TLaD as the Gang Wars after the 25th one are probably the hardest Task in TLaD to do.

Inform me the actual Method for the EC Charcoal Black Gang Burrito from Action/Reaction when you get to it, also good luck getting the Hybrid EC Packer as it's the hardest and rarest to get in your 2nd TLaD Save...
