Tommy Vercetti. Sounds cool. And not so mafia cliche.

Niko Bellic, Tommy Vercetti and Luis Lopez are sexy badass names.

Trevor is just funny to me because it's my dad's name.

Victor Vance is a dumb name. Claude on its own is pretty bad, Claude Speed is the most ridiculous name for a protagonist I've ever heard and having two protagonists called Claude is preposterous.

I know this quote is old but just feel like saying his full name would most likely be Nikola given that he's Serbian. His original birth name would probably be Nikola Belić

Yes, "Bellic" with these 2 LLs together doesn't look like a proper Balkanian name. Belić looks spot on, or just "Belic" as a standard in English.

They should've chosen a popular name for Niko like Petrovic or something like that (they gave that same name to a secondary character instead).

Petrovic is more Russian I guess. I don't mind it, it's understandable that they wanted the name to be very easy to read and pronounce, and it's just simpler and clearer for English speakers that it's spelled with a double L (first part of "Bellic" is clearly pronounced "bell", with "Belic" there's several different ways that first vowel could potentially be pronounced), and that they have the -ic pronounced as ick (the way an English speaker reads it phonetically) rather than the more realistic itch. It's not uncommon for people to "anglicize" their name when they move to an English speaking country so seems believable enough that it would end up as Bellic. Belić or Belic does look and sound nicer and more authentic though.

I w=really like Franklin Clinton's name. Casually yet perfectly fits the hustler he is. It has the street credit that's deserved but still can blend in with the average person.

I think Niko Bellic is the most badass sounding name.

But I love the double meaning behind Franklin Clinton's name, Frankin= Benjamin Franklin = $100 and Clinton= Bill Clinton = Bill.

Michael Townley. Also one of my favorite protagonists.

Thomas Vercetti has a nice name. Sounds like stereotypical Italian guy ordering food.

To me vercetti witha cheese.
