Claude - Fido, Mute Asshole, Snake Without a Tongue

Yeah. He's name sounds really cool. Including his avatar. There's something about him which resonates with me more than the rest, ever since I've experienced while playing as him in GTA III.

Second would be Carl Johnson.

Even though Vice city is my favorite, including Tommy Vercetti's character but I don't like the name Tommy. It sounds like some kid's name than a crazy psycho killer with an intelligent personality who wants revenge. He should've been named something else.

I like Tommy Vercetti's name, though it might be because it's tattooed in my brain from reading it on these forums so often and because I haven't played the game all that much. I liked the name CJ until I heard it too many times in 'All we had to do is follow the damn train CJ' and similar contexts. Now I can't help but read the name in Big Smoke's voice. Similarly 'Nikoooo let's go bowling' in Roman's voice.

 

Luis Lopez is a good name too. Generic as hell IRL, but so few games, if any, have Latino protagonists it gets a good mark just for that.

 

I prefer Michael's original name Townley over de Santa, but both are fitting to the character version that wears them.

 

Overall pretty much all the protags and characters have very good names. I respect that because I always struggle to find good names for my stories.

I like Tommy name. Sounds cool and fits perfectly with his character, looks and to that period of 80s.

I like Tommy's name.

The name Tommy sounds harmless for a vicious capo mafia and Vercetti just sounds classy, the name sounds normal even wimpy but i like it for it.

 

Second goes Niko B, Niko sounds badass and Bellic means "war" in latin, you can't get more metal than that.

Michael Townley - I prefer Michael's surname as Townley as well, De Santa doesn't fit him one bit imo. I'm glad that important characters like Trevor or Steve mostly refer to him as Townley.

Trevor is just funny to me because it's my dad's name.

 

Victor Vance is a dumb name. Claude on its own is pretty bad, Claude Speed is the most ridiculous name for a protagonist I've ever heard and having two protagonists called Claude is preposterous.

I know this quote is old but just feel like saying his full name would most likely be Nikola given that he's Serbian. His original birth name would probably be Nikola Belić
