8/10, would work very well for a GTA game set in the late 80's or early 90's.

Here's some more song ideas for a late 90's/early 2000's GTA

Goth Rock

Oldies/70's Hits

80's Hits

Disco

Bluegrass/Classic Country

I don't know which song I'm supposed to rate so I'm gonna rate all of 'em:

Siouxsie: 8/10

The "oldie" song: Not available in my country/10

Jackson: 9/10

The O'Jays: 6/10. I think they have better fitting songs as for a disco station

The Dillards: 7/10

Modern alternative rock station:

Big Fat Paulie

Catherine Wheel-6/10

Fountains of Wayne-6.5/10

Oasis-7/10

I'm not really a fan of alternative rock but so far, it's a decent selection in and of itself and could work very well depending on the setting of the game.

Here's some more tracks from my 2000's GTA

90's Hits

80's Hits

Celtic Music (For a foreign station like Espantoso, Radio Del Mundo, or Vladivostok FM)

Barenaked Ladies: 7/10 I always prefer smaller hits to big hits in GTA so I’d always root for one of their other songs but this is still good. I don’t know if it really fits GTA game though.

Eddy Grant: 8/10 This would fit a lot better but again, I’d root for his smaller hit I Don’t Wanna Dance before this

The Dubliners: 8.5/10 This would be so fun. It’d fit so good in Liberty City playing in the bar you go to with Packie.

I don’t really understand why there has to be separate 80s and 90s hit stations, I’d rather have more realistically large and diverse radio stations like Non Stop Pop.

I have 4 more songs, each from different genres and meant for different stations. One isn’t meant for any radio station and is just meant for the strip club.

Alternative Rock Radio

Jet - Look What You’ve Done (2003)

R&B/Urban Contemporary Radio

Mis-Teeq - One Night Stand (2001)

Electronic

Massive Attack - Antistar (2003)

Just For Fun/Strip Club

Custom - Hey Mister (2001)

Big Fat Paulie

6/10 if it's set in the present

7.5/10 if it's set in the early 2000's

Here's one for an 80's pop station, and it could also be the song played in the trailer if GTA VI is set in the 80's

8.5/10, I can totally see that song fitting in GTA. The official music vid was good too, it could almost be a GTA sub-plot.

Now to a totally different genre. If GTA is set in the 80s / 90s, I would hope R* would at least give a slight nod towards the early techno / acid house of that era. Here's something completely insane.  Not for the easily offended, but I think something like this would work as a soundtrack to certain types of missions / activities / characters.

Anything Duran Duran belongs in Vice City.

And here’s a side project that the bass player from Duran Duran did with Robert Palmer.

10/10 Something about this just feels so familiar and so right for a GTA song

I'm going for low-hanging fruit here, but it's needed
