Did you like Undead Nightmare?

I think it worked as an entirely self contained game and story. I don't like it when GTA gets too sci-fI for example. at the risk of stating the obvious, Zombies as part of the main story wouldn't have worked.

I often wondered if they could do some tie ins with RDR and GTA historically - maybe a point in time where real life history splits and diverges towards the R* world.

That would be great if the two franchises were more and more tied in, lol.

Also, regarding UN being a cool lil' story in it's own right as an addition. I just feel it helped 'sell' the zombie vibe purely as they laid great ground work with the atmosphere in the game that it just fell into place more.

As overdone as zombies certainly are, this just seemed to have a bit of that magic the main game had.

Might just have to run through this part on my new account, can't help but pop back and go hunting more and more with RDR2 on the horizon, lol.

I wasn't able to play it properly on my 360 (and Xbox One) due to that headless zombie bug that messed up the whole game. So no, I was not able to like Undead Nightmare.

I liked it well enough, I thought the zombies were the best zombies I've seen in a game.

I've tried playing it again, but I couldn't get back into it. It's a little too weird

Best add on ever.

Just replayed again last year and it was still a lot of fun though clearing towns and graveyards seemed a LOT easier this time around.

I didn't think that it would be that great, but just like the main game, i was plesently supprised. I would say its up there with being one of my favorite Zombie games of all time.

It was an extremely fun short story and i actually had fun 100% completing it, just like the main story. Everything about Red Dead Redemption is a masterpiece and it stands as one of my favorite R* games of all time. I'd rate it a 10/10.

I still remember when i bought this great game. It was in 2012, and i bought it New, on sale, and on black friday from Wal-Mart.

I enjoyed it. Not only did it add more content to story mode, but the online as well. Ain't nothing like trying to survive hordes after hordes of zombies with your friends before the zombies finally overtake y'all.

I'm a huge Resident Evil fan, I love anything zombies. I have to say, though, I did play Undead Nightmare, but, never got the chance to finish it. The shame I feel is real.

Loved playing Undead Overrun. I played that for months every evening. Makes me sad that the servers are completely ruined now.

I loved it. Most fun I ever had with any DLC even better than some games out there. The only complaint I have is the f*cking glitches. I usually don't mind glitches in games ,mostly because I mostly play on PC and I can easily find some kind of fix, but I played it on PS3 and the glitches were so game breaking that I haven't replayed it since I finished it ,and I want to play it again though because I want to 100% it like the base game.

Yes I spent so long wanting to get it, that when I finally did I played the heck out of that DLC! It for sure fit and worked well as its own story and for the game setting. Loved it!

Aside from zombie games being for children, I think they wasted the opportunity to make a better story DLC that focused on Jack for instance. Maybe instead of avenging his father's death as a side quest that could have been the main quest of the DLC but I digress.

I'm still on the fence about completing the DLC. For one thing there is an annoying bug that prevents you from freeing areas from zombies because they turn into headless NPCs. It happens a lot and it kinda makes me want to just uninstall the game.

I loved Undead Nightmare.

As others have said though, I too agree that it's good that it was a standalone DLC and not a forced part of the main story (even though it connected very well to the main story). When making a DLC, why not take the ample opportunity to exaggerate things?

Which is also what I think should have been done to GTAO; sure, introduce flying bikes, UFOs and DeLoreans and exaggerate it how much you want, but don't force it upon everyone.

I hope we'll see Undead Nightmare 2 as well.

I would have liked it, but that headless zombie glitch made it unplayable for me on Xbox One, and it is a disgrace that R* didn't even bother to fix such a game-breaking glitch.

I didn't like having to keep towns safe. Once I got all of the storymode trophies for the game, I started using the cheats and I didn't bother with the towns anymore unless I needed to to start or complete a mission.

Overall, it was a fun little novelty and I mostly enjoyed it.

Absolutely adored it.

Spent countless hours with friends playing the graveyard overrun modes too.

Atmosphere was perfect.

I really dug it. I dug the mythology and folklore aspect the most. Undead Nightmare was roughly the last piece of zombie fiction I enjoyed before thinking it had gotten overused. The two things I didn't like were having to constantly go back to saved towns and clear out new uprisings, and not having a redemption option for the Sasquatches. I think if it had been possible to be *save* the Sasquatches, and to have a permanent no-zombie status on saved towns, it would've been way better.

I didn't really like it, no.

Though I can say for sure I would very much enjoy something similar for RDR2, could only be fun since the weapons really feel incredible.

But I'd still much rather have something more grounded than a zombie DLC.

It ruined RDR for me (for awhile, at least). f*cking zombies? Again? Not exactly a trailblazing idea since nearly EVERY OTHER DAMN GAME has a zombie component. It's lazy and boring.

It's a solid horror-based take on an already brilliant game. I've gone back to it fairly recently with the intention of 100%ing it and I'd say it still holds up fairly well. The zombie-slaying gameplay is fun (even if it does get somewhat repetitive), and I love the dreaded atmosphere and campy B-movie tone.

One of the most enjoyable DLCs I've ever played for a game. The soundtrack by Kreeps is also underrated. Bad Voodoo, Dead Sled, etc...

It deserves a sequel of its own in RDR2. I know people are tired of zombie tropes, but I think RDR was one of the few games that did that sh*t right.
