So has anyone thought about how horrible the performance of a "donk" would be? When you put 20 inch rims on a car it ruins the handling and acceleration Ie. A fully modded "donk" will handle like a standard vulcar ingot with Burst tyres, just picture that, it ain't a pretty picture.

18 to 10 inch won't be that much of a problem.. Anything above 22 inch is gonna be a problem and looks like sh*t anyhow..

You guys realize many, many, cars come factory with 20-24 inch rims nowadays. Looking at a Camaro right now with factory 21" rims.

 

 

 

Anyways, anybody want to fill me in on anything I missed while I was at work today?

He later stated that he was just doing it for attention. He literally said thay exactly.

 

They are real life cousins, it is reasonable that they just took a pic together and it has nothing to do with the game.

but those cars are specifically designed to carry those rims tho, when you put a set of 20s on a car that's isn't designed for them your miles per gallon will double and your car will handle like sh*t, I have personally experienced this

I'm hoping it is Hot Rods, Rat Rods, and Muscle style Update. I think there may be more than 6 cars that would come to Benny's given the list has been added on to over the past few months, and may include more than what we already have. Be very expectant over the next few days.

Why do people keep bringing up the casino? It's not as easy as they think. It'll never happen in GTA V O and it won't happen as long as R* sells Shark Cards. It's more than just a game when people start spending real money for virtual money, it's basically gambling. Some places have regulations and other won't allow it. It's a problem R* can easily avoid by not having a casino...

 

TL;DR - The chances of having a casino plummeted when R* started selling Shark Cards.

Nope. It isn't gambling because gta dollars cannot be cashed out for real money. It really is that simple.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what modifications are available for this update at Benny's the most. R* chose good cars (Tornado, Slamvan Rat-loader etc.) and there is a lot of variety in this list as well.

Cause the one found in the files was codenamed "sabregt2" IIRC, and "sabregt" is the we have now. And again, donks haven't been confirmed, so it's more likely we'll see our current Sabre as a Benny's addition.

What if Yan meant the 15th as the date for an announcement, instead of a release? They could have an announcement tomorrow and release it Thursday or Friday or something.

No he specifically said a few pages back something like "It's out 15th March, and that is now confirmed." Then on Twitter he said there's been no announcement so nothing is confirmed. Can't make his mind up.

 

So if there's no release tomorrow he's in for it. He best not try passing it off as 'I meant the the announcement' either.

Watch out, we got a bad ass over here! So what if Yan got it wrong? He's only human. People make mistakes. If you're really gonna sit there and bitch and moan about how Yan was wrong and rip him a new one for it then maybe you should get out more. If he was wrong, what happens? We do what we've been doing since the last update: waiting.

Nope. It isn't gambling because gta dollars cannot be cashed out for real money. It really is that simple.

It might not be. There are some 200 countries in the world, and if they might have problem with one, it ain't happening. Every place has (wildly) differing legislation, and for example theft of digital property in games can be comparable to real world items. If you win x million gta$, it has a real world value, too. This is a grey zone in many, possibly most, places. But with GTAs status, they won't risk it.

 

Digital prizes with real money bets aren't as simple as one might think. It's a shame, and it's bullsh*t, but we all know how bad someone would like to sue R* and Take Two. Remember Hot Coffee? They got hitten from every direction because it was possible to MODIFY the product, so that you could see a sex scene like you see in tv, movies, music videos etc. In a game rated for mature audience, and filled with violence. For audience who can purchase porn. Some indie game or one that is 50th sold game won't get any attention, but this is GTA. It couldn't get away with it.

 

One thing on the side of casino is that you really can't transfer money in-game. It makes the value of your winnings and purchases somewhat debateable.

 

But in finland - for example - you have to pay taxes for online betting wins. It could be a nightmare to try to make up the numbers for the value.
