Just my 2 cents but I hope they do finally announce something about the biker DLC, my summer outdoor activities (bus photography/car shows) are just about over

so it would be a good time for me to finally have the update.

Non Funkable Token

Giving things away in an absolute random manner. Honestly I don't see this as a marketing 101 lesson.........

Small scale test to see what the results are, that's all this is. Same with the free Cargobob a while back. Just a test to see how the playerbase reacts. Do they like this? Does it make them play more? Will this generate media buzz? Will it make us money in the long run? All these questions can be answered by doing a small test first. It's pretty typical behavior from a large company really.

They aren't trying to say f*ck us high level, day one players. Just because they got something and we didn't doesn't mean we deserve something too. That is literally what acting "entitled" is. Good for you lvl 135 players that get the cash, put it to good use. The rest of us will await something to come our way, one day.

I see the point, well I saw it before, and still think it won't work so well. Nobody is gonna change his opinion of the game just for receiving a free good looking but useless chopper. The extra million? Much better reward, but nah, a million doesn't last long with the current prices. Pick one of the newest cars, drive it for a while, and go back to Battlefield or whatever game.

They have the weekly x2 bonus and the discounts to keep people tuned, and that's what is working as of now. These unannounced gifts make them look weird and make people think they are trolling the fanbase, or some internet pranksters are using R* to troll people.

If they ignored the first two, what makes you think the third anniversary will be the one to celebrate? I'd welcome it, just seems unlikely though..

Trailer?????????

There are two development branches of the software that they use for updating. qabeta2 and qabeta. qabeta is the branch they push the qabeta2 stuff to and test before release to the actual game. From what I understand :)

Attention passengers, now boarding on track 4 is the 7:55 am Hype Train making the following station stops: Hypeville, Excited City, I-Cant-Wait town, and Hype AF city. Please be sure to have your tickets ready, and thanks for riding the GTA rail.

OT: If R* now has updated the qabeta, does that mean people will be able to read into the game files and see what's there and/or not? Confirming the empty biker scripts and whatnot?

Na, qabeta gets used for uploading/publishing the upcoming DLCs. When the DLC is going to be released, qabeta will be synced with the public (release) branch. Then we can look into vehicle models and more, decompiled scripts take more time because only a few people actually wrote a decompiler to look into those files.

Gnocchi Flip Flops

Bikes aside, Fingers crossed Yan is right about the 6th Property slot. Also hoping for the custom garage interior update and the biker themed CEO missions. I wonder if/what/where they would choose club houses?

Seriously we need new garages. That white minimalist sh*t is really working my nerves.

Maybe you need some sun.

Maybe you need to be punched in the face.

They aren't doing it to change peoples opinions on the game, or to draw them back. They are doing it to gather data for themselves. These small tests aren't for the fans, they are for Rockstar to figure out what the fanbase reacts to the most. For example- If 75% of these lvl 130-134 players spend 50% more time per session in order to level up, there is a slightly higher chance they would also buy a shark card, therefore being more profitable for Rockstar. Now, if only 10% of the lvl 130-134 players spend 50% more time in session, then obviously this promotion isn't working so they shouldn't do a similar deal large scale since it would be a waste of time.

It's just a test.

I'm trying to make some extra cash with the adversary playlist but I can't. These game modes are so terrible.

I get put against sweaty tryhards who combat roll and all this other stupid sh*t, it's impossible to win a game.

So did anyone get that million dollars? I haven't logged in yet but it's not showing on SC.

Nope, its f*cking stupid.

It's not the end of Weds yet, tbh I'm not expecting any money, just a curious little thing.
