@jatiger you're a thirty something year old european, i wouldnt expect you to like or even understand donks. but i do expect you to be mature about disliking them. but what can you expect from someone with a ted avatar.

Ot: When the Qabeta2 is updated, does an update come out the next day? Or does it take a bit longer?

 

I feel ya on the Donks. I'm a Midwesterner that lived in the south (Tennessee/Georgia) for several years. Donks just look dumb, kinda like when Hotwheels had the Bling series cars in 2004. They are not very attractive.

 

OT Reply: qabeta2 being updated could signal an update is coming soon. Mainly the next day, or as far as two weeks from now. Hope this helps.

qabeta2 was updated today and people are discussing about the possibility of an update tomorrow.




Just got an invite from Martin that just literally said "Adversary Mode". It wasn't red or anything. When I accepted it, I went through the map. I'll post a video here in just a bit.

This can either be a bug or a sign that something might happen.

The only thing that comes out of this is, GTA Online is a hell of a popular game if it can draw so much attention just for speculation about the next DLC

It is perhaps good thing, 'cause it will keep the game alive as far as Rockstar sees that we care about such a small things as DLCs..

 

You don't see that much "hype" for whole games, here, it is on another level.

But I would like to see all the cars added into SP as well. I don't understand why some of them are available and some aren't...It doesn't make sense to me. At least we could try them without harm..But maybe R* wants us to burn ourselves by buying without thinking as they leave us no other choice. Unless we are PC gamers and use trainers - which takes couple of days at best to be updated to latest version, thus forcing us to buy them in Online anyways if we want to try them ASAP.

Yeah, it cannot be perfect, but I don't know why there is 80 pages of people mostly discussing about what they want and what they don't. I'm glad for every single vehicle that has been added. Because it adds variety and overall it is what I always wanted - an expanding "gallery" of vehicles. A bit like Forza but there you get a new game every 2 years or so, while in GTA they keep adding it into one game, and I think they will continue adding it as long as the hardware can keep up. And considering how much old gen could bear, it might be another few years, which would be awesome

As Uni explained earlier it was pinned to avoid people creating several new topics on the next DLC as people would see this on the top of the 1st page.

Rockstar has 2 development branches: "qabeta" and "qabeta2". This branch (qabeta2) is the branch they move development stuff to for final testing before merging with the active build. I think this is accurate, if not, someone will correct me.

it is really sad watching everyone get so hyped and excited because of qabeta2 and the possibility of an update tomorrow. Knowing the majority are going to complain in two days from now...

Complaints get more reasonable. IGG1 dropped and people were like: "Oh, only new cars and clothes??". Now it's new vehicle mods for existing cars and one or two AMs that probably nobody plays. Another unthemed surprise update isn't a good thing imho. It's ok if they give us a mid-sized update in April or a major one in early May, but I wouldn't expect too much. I don't see them putting much effort in updates anymore, and hey, I can understand that, the game is old and will be supported longer than estimated. But giving us new jobs for old game modes does not require much effort neither, verifiying jobs doesn't, enabling some dev tools in the Creator doesn't. People are bored of playing the same stuff, how can new liveries and T-Shirts change this? IGG was very innovative compared to the current situation.

Fair Enough my friend. I agree with some of what you said. I don't mind, when people complain with a good thought process behind it. However I was talking about the repetitive stupid complaints. It doesn't matter now anyway. We will see when the update drops, How a majority of people will react to it. Everyone has their own opinions.

So, the current expectation is that it's coming tomorrow.. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed in the current facts.

Lets hope Rockstar decide last minute oh hey, add the peyote and manana as lowriders! Oh and also maybe we could fix all the f*cking bugs that have been here since 2013..

If this does indeed turn out to be Lowriders 2, I hope they decide to add another new mini-storyline like they did with the first one. After all, it's the closest thing we've had to story dlc.
