I personaly never did...i expect something next month and after a rerelease of the halloween update.

 

Maybe an anouncement this month of an update coming....but even that...no...it seems unlikly

All seems unusually quiet on that front, I'm really not expecting much more in the way of DLC. We get 2 years of content and then it's hemorrhaged by the looks of it...could be wrong, hope I am in truth.

That's actually a valid point in truth I suppose they could go ahead with that. Anything really to drum up additional revenue prior to the release of GTAVI in essence will always be comtemplated by companys.

^^ Would be nice if R* just ditched the casino from in-game. It's been one of the biggest (and most annoying) speculation headaches since day one (esp. with the "Opening Soon" sign).

 

I must admit to a major sense of being trolled by R* when I see things in-game that could--and should--be used, but never will, such as:

 

* Animals sounds in Sandy Shores, but no animals (except tiny fish swimming around if you swim deep enough below water)

* Cable car infrastructure, but no cable car

etc.

Like i see it they have been methodicly testing how far they can go with all updates after heists

Ill gotten gains...broke the sport classic class...i think that was a test to see if they could.

 

Executives and other criminals...broke the sedan class...it looked like a big bad mistake...but it was not...they intentionaly broke the sedan class and the other bad classifications were intended as part of the cover up

 

Lowriders...broke the muscle car class...again...with to much problem they could have made it seem like an accident

 

Cunning stunts...well they went full on with it now...breaking the super class completely and the compact class

 

About the suv class...probably they are simply looking if people will indeed buy 3 times an other car to stay competitive in a minor class

 

Also cunning stunts proved they pretty much can do anything...people will buy it...

 

People will buy new cars to stay competitive regardless of class almost...although the fastest cars will be more populair

 

Few people will buy insanely overpriced sport cars, regardless performance

 

They can implement gambling with big loses for everyone but the winner, people will not care...refering to premium races.

 

First thing i see coming is the bike class finaly being broken by bikes costing beyond 200 k...after that...they still did not break the sport class and coupe class...which are still more populair then the suv class

 

And then...people will get what they always wanted.. a casino

 

And that will be followed by a lot of praise while people will in general lose loads of money...sounds like a perfect plan...its slightly ingenius to be honest...

Though that all is not confirmed...i would bet money on it that that is exactly what is gonna happen

Permanently dropped ? If so good news but...even then i see various gambling schemes popping up everywhere

Unless there's a significant change in focus to improving free roam itself to what most of us know it could be (things that worked well in GTA IV, vast amounts of amazing cut content, etc.), I honestly have little interest or faith in upcoming DLC. It's been shallow, and arguably continues to be shallow.

 

Truth is, there has been more than ample opportunity over nearly three years now for R* to implement numerous and SIMPLE improvements from users (e.g. NPC AI being the biggest offender), but they have largely been ignored.

I really don't think this 'biker DLC' is gonna bring new missions like we think. I don't think they'll be a Lost DLC theme. I believe:

 

New Adversary mode

New Bikes

New Clothes

New Tattoos

Helmets

Cosmetic things.

The only time I remember r* actually giving the community a legitimate reason why we couldn't have something was when people kept asking for the gym in v. And from what I remember they said the engine they were using couldn't do it but they never gave the specific details.

They could still very well open the Casino, just without betting. Card games and stuff dont nessesarily have to have gambling involved. You just pay to get in, and win money if you win the game, ya know, just like Premium races.

 

I really would just like it to have an interior tbh.

 

Although I suppose if it is scrapped then it is gone for good, but ya never know with Rockstar.

I personally didn't buy that another major update would come out so soon. Rockstar releases them to maximize Sharkie sales and they do it like an expert f***ing fisherman too. They let you have a nibble (update 1) then give you a big bite (Cunning Stunts which was super expensive), then they wait a little extra bit make SURE you're good and hooked and as you try to gulp it down, they've got you.

 

Think of it like this, if someone just spent $60 on shark cards the last two updates, unless the one coming about now was gangbusters, why would they spend even more? They'd still have stuff to buy from C.S. I bet. Holiday season coming up soon, etc. Labor Day would not shock me though, or 1-2 weeks after it.

There's definitely scripts (empty) that reference it, cba to dig them up but basically new CEO work with biker in the name (joust is the one I remember off the top of my head).

 

Yan separately claims that the Biker DLC is next, and delayed, so depending on their sources there's that too. Historically they're reliable enough to add that as more evidence imo.

There are new files in GTA Online from the last update, with the word "biker" on them.

It's just a question of time before we know more but it's pretty obvious.

I don't know or care if it's delayed or not, seeing how that's impossible if you don't have a date to start with.
