Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 1)

Most of the leaks I know about originated in NYC actually, from my understanding anyways.

 

*this statement is not based on facts, just my own interpretation of situations that led to leaks.

I want a Cops and Crooks mode/update more than anyone but I don't trust him. We'll see what comes after Bikers.

Yeah it does seem too much like a wishlist but his first topic is quite weird, time will tell, if he gets a dlc right after bikers then I might be inclined to believe him.

He talks about the casino; I was told casino is not happenning.

He talks about Liberty City; I was told LC was never considered as a real project for GTA Online (just like any kind of map expansion I would assume).

 

Plus that's just way too much content. Here's something new for y'all: Last time I heard about that, they planned on making updates for GTA Online until Spring 2017, around that.

Well, those things do sound good. But it sounds like a lot, really, a LOT of stuff. And linking this to what sources like Yan say, they will probably stop releasing stuff for GTAO next year.

 

However, I'd believe that R* will just "take a break" from releasing "big" content for our beloved GTAO for a year or two and try to focus people's attention on one of their new games, whichever those may be, and be working on some new Grand Theft on the background. Then they could just "boom" a new game or a crazy update like a map expansion in the future for this franchise.

San Fierro and Las Ventures were built alongside Los santos way back in the early development stages of GTAV, Scrapped on PS3/Xbox for obvious reasons!!

After more then 3 years of re building for PS4/XBO/PC,

Both are still being worked on with a release target of October 2018!

 

Single player DLC has been replaced with Online Map expansion model!

Mainly due to the unforeseen success of micro transactions and GTA online in general!

 

Liberty City will be released September 2017..

The DLC will included

 

A Open ticket (for city slickers) to Liberty City!

 

A Open ticket (for Snow Blowers) to North Yankton!

 

EXCLUSIVE VIP Membership (for High rollers) which grants Exclusive access to THE CASINO in Los Santos!

 

Pre Order Bonus of 1 million GTA Casino chips for pre order!!

 

Micro transactions can NOT buy GTA CASINO CHIPS!

 

Liberty City, North Yankton and the Los Santos Casino scheduled together to keep player migration relatively balanced!!

 

Liberty City will enable you to trade on the stock market, once a Office has been *Purchased! Similar to the current crate set up!

 

Both DLC's will be priced equivalent to a full game!!

one was BEFORE the release of GTAV back in 2013 (Check back and have a careful read, compare it to what we have today) and one post was yesterday (2016)

 

Most if not everything mentioned in that 2013 post has been implemented or reworked into the current GTA Online we have today, from the old mission set up format, to individual heist roles, to the current free mode events!

 

With the Next four Updates to come, GTA Online will have utilised most if not all the work that went into GTAV such as animals, police vehicles, Stock Market, Blaine County etc..

Can't say much more, there on to me..... Speculating can get you in to a lot trouble.. lol

- Biker DLC: Yeah well people are expecting this

 

- Law and order DLC - This will never happen IN GTA. If you want to play a police game like GTA, go play sleeping dogs or APB Reloaded

 

- Mansion DLC - We are all hoping to get those houses in Richman etc one day but you can't have 'mansion pets'. Impossible. Unless you state grounds as also the interior. Usually grounds are exterior. So we know this is rubbish.

 

The stock market will never launch online, because then sharkcards go to sh*t and their business suffers. You're likely a 12 year old virgin, so you get a pass this time.

 

With all your "!" I laughed at more each time, each sentence looked more trolled and funny as it went a long.

 

You'll definitely get the mouth breathing neckbeards on this forum to believe

First of all you maybe should watch your language bro.

Second: Why would a police dlc never happen? There is an empty folder called police computer in the files. So they atleast planned to implement such a feature.

 

Mansions will maybe happen but i guess without exterior.

 

A stock market is possible. I mean we got ceo jobs (cratejobs) who can get you a few million pretty fast with a risk of losing all the money you put in.

Just an example: A Player buys stock of a ingame company for lets say a million gta dollars. But then the vallue of these stocks goes down so that his investment is now only worth 200k. So in order to get his money back he maybe buys a sharkcard = Profit for Rockstar.

So far every update followed among certain themes, except "I'm not a hipster" update

 

Outdoor

Bigger

Expensiver

Supercars

Big Money

Lavish clothes

Military hardware

PvP

 

I'm not sure how nightclubs would fit into these, probably Big Money and Lavish Clothes, but certainly not outdoors.

 

I suspect they will rather introduce new military hardware, like Hunter or do a big Under the Sea update with more expensive and more bigger submarines, as well as underwater weapons for underwater adversary modes.

They made a pretty ocean floor, they even boasted with it, now one gotta get use it at some point.

I would very much wager that the amount of people that want an update that's just clothes is far smaller than the amount of people that want to own police vehicles, mansions and a map expansion, but this thread is not the place to start the fashion argument as there's already two threads about that.

Well maybe because we dont have a HD Universe Vice City? We have a HD Universe Los Santos and Liberty City so i guess Vice City would be next. Also it would fit for GTA 6 or in other word GTA VI or GTA VIce.

We have never had a modern day Vice City either, because the point of the setting and city was Miami Vice flavored 80's. That's why it's the least likely for a future game.
