Anyway more speculation: Could the event that's internally called gb_biker_joust be taking literally and involve pool cues and the on bike combat from the lost and damned.

This is also my speculation. Joust definitely sounds like you can use melee on bikes.

Actually It was Coming... It was Leslie's Idea and In My Opinion I still Think It's Coming Because I know for a Fact that it's a Big money Maker.

There is no proof whatsoever Liberty City was "Leslies' idea".

GTA Online itself was Leslies idea, not a map expansion.

I mostly agree, but Leslie Benzie was heavily involved in GTA Online, it was his idea and he layed out the roadmap for it which also includes Stunt races btw.

Other than that, te expansion was most probably turned into a fully fledged new game similar to GTA Vice City.

Last weapons were the compact rifle and the dubbel barreled shotgun in the Lowrider Custom Classics DLC. But don't we have enough weapons already? Unless it's something unique like the flamethrower, I don't see a reason to have any more pistols/melee weapons.

The Liberty City rumor came from a single tweet from 'fundebowlingpandamw2' who has later stated that it wasn't accurate information.

 

And the whole The Benz thing comes from this article (link below) which dates back to 2012! In which he merely contemplates the idea of having all GTA cities connected in one big world. He has never mentioned a Liberty City expansion directly.

I hope we get some badass new weapons with this Biker update. Chainsaw and Flamethrower seem cool enough yet useless enough to fit the theme, I think lol.

That ruins the whole point of customization though. The drift Tampa was a waste because you couldn't really do anything with it like you could with the Sultan RS. I wouldn't mind paying extra for personal touch.

If they are superfast and plenty of options i would pay up to a mill each. I paid a mill per lowrider, so why not. Its good to have goals and something fun to spend fake $ on.

It'd be worth it if the bikes had customisation options on par with the better Benny's vehicles (like the Slamvan and the Sultan RS). I'd have gladly paid $900k on top of the purchase price of a regular Tampa if it meant we could change the seats, interior colour, engine block, gauges, steering wheel, bumpers, spoiler, fenders, exhaust, etc.

Are these the same sources that told you we were getting a bennified adder and zentorno a cpl months back? If so ......Liberty City DLC CONFIRMED lol.

Just an indocation, if your "sources" are part of R*s New York division, they are playing with you lol.

Believe me that studio is more worth than anything to R* and they control it like a holy grail...

CEO/VIP missions don't need the launcher script as you can start them immediately.

You don't have to wait 30 minutes for a new event to appear.

What I found is four new checks in the launcher script which is related to launching freemode events, there's four Biker scripts so that's why I assume they are freemode events but I could be wrong.

GB means "Goon/Boss", so it could mean VIP missions or CEO missions or missions for a new status.

Vice City or Las Venturas would be better than Liberty City anyway in my opinion. Liberty City's good, but its already had its turn with decent graphics - Vice City and Las Venturas haven't.

 

I know that's why people say LC is more likely to happen, and sure they're probably right - but I'd rather have Vice City. Imagine a big version of that map. A lot more boats everywhere for a start, and sea planes. Makes me nostalgic thinking about it. Plus chainsaws and flamethrowers. Such a great game.

Why do people don't get it, that different cities other than NY and LC are not gonna happen in DLC? Would you really think that they would use fully made, fully scripted map, that was never used, and put it in $30 DLC (at best) rather than using it in full new game that would costs +$60?

These scripts seem to be free mode based like the vip/ceo ones. I mean, activities to do while in free mode. That doesn't mean they are free mode "events" like Melee Kills or Criminal Damage.

These scripts seem to be free mode based like the vip/ceo ones. I mean, activities to do while in free mode. That doesn't mean they are free mode "events" like Melee Kills or Criminal Damage.

Kill List, penned in are also Free Mode "Events but include PvE / Mission structure elements.

 

I assume the new Biker scripts are going to be a mixture of Free Mode Events and VIP Missions, they aren't triggered by the player, but yet they are part of the whole CEO/VIP thing.

Nah that was just a rumor I heard so I mentioned it to get the thread back on track. There was no evidence to support that claim and I told everyone that.

 

This time I do have a source but of course it could very well be incorrect, and I don't know if I will ever recieve any more information.

 

I want to make this clear that I am not a leaker nor do I know anything more than you guys. I was told biker update and 6th garage, and that casino and SP were scrapped. That is it. Trust me I will let you guys know very clearly if I get anything else. Until then everything I say is just my opinion. Yan and/or Fun are still and probably always will be the best source for information.
