If there is a 'biker' DLC and it adds new motorbikes and melee weapons they might as well call it the "mr creosote update*", because we have enough of both imo.

 

I think instead "biker dlc" could well be "ceo v2.0" and add a bunch of crate/biker crank/stabbing/escort missions or whatever out in Blaine County, like the dark mirror version of your high rise office and antiques and jewelry.

The files found suggest that it is similar to what you described.

After all the filenames have the same pretext as the CEO/Crate Missions.

So it seems like an extension of said gameplay.

 

I would actualy be glad if most upcoming Updates would extend CEO/Crate Mechanics or Free Roam gameplay in general.

Gta Online is a prequel to gta v right? So if the biker update comes out, maybe they could incorporate missions similar to how they've done it with Lamar but with Terry and Clay. I doubt they would have johnny since he was a meth head.

Consodering the coming Update is Free Mode based, cutscenes are rather unlikely.

They could have Terry and Clay as new Mission givers though.

Can't help wondering if this apparent biker update's going to be a smaller thing, more like Last Team Standing or Be My Valentine, where it's a quick filler to bridge the gap between bigger releases (like LTS was, prior to the current-gen re-release), and/or to meet fan demand (like BMV, considering how much people had asked for the Valentine's Day Massacre stuff to come back).

 

LTS in particular springs to mind, because I see them doing similar with a biker update: take a bunch of stuff from GTA IV, and give it a polish and compatibility tweaks to suit GTAO (like how LTS brought the Hakuchou and Innovation back), along with a couple of new outfit pieces (leather jackets, and maybe some helmets - ?), in a handful of different colour options.

 

Would be the quickest and easiest way of doing it - all R* needs to do is take things like the Wayfarer, Angel or Wolfsbane (to name but a few), update the GTA IV assets, add them to GTAO, and job done. Maybe release the Lost Slamvan as well (since it's already in there - no work needed), and a couple of quickly-thrown-together new things like SecuroServ activities or Adversary Modes, and voilà - a quick update to (mostly - probably - maybe) satisfy the people asking for a biker DLC.

 

 

(it's alright, R* - I'm aware that adding a proper tuner update with decent cars is going to take time, so don't rush getting it out just for my sake... )

 

(inb4 some parasitic YouTuber decides to take the above and make 15 idiotic videos out of it, passing off half the stuff they've read in this thread as their own ideas, and topping it off with a stolen thumbnail pic, used with neither credit or permission...)

It could be a really small update, but R* could throw in a few other things not related to biker stuff, like a mobile guillotine or tar and feathers. Theres plenty of biker looking attire in the game currently and I dont see how much more they could add.

If you are referring to the beats players place during races thats not the same as the game deciding who wins. The latter is where people would be mad when they lose all their money and start accusing R* of milking money out of players in the slot machines and any other event in the casino that the odds of winning are Algorithmically decided. You know what I always do, checking decompiled scripts and stuff.

This time I found new empty scripts hinted for future update.

The ones that start with "gb" is basically related to CEO or VIP Work/Missions or even a new status to the SecuroServ system.

The first one is pretty interesting as it's related to "modding your garage" ?

Every script that start with "am_mp" is property related, something that you can own.

I caught what you were saying, which was basically be patient, more garages are coming. But you knew that it came from a source, while the rest of us did not. I can't speak for everyone, but when you said to be patient, I assumed it was just a wishful fan stating his hopes. I mean, I've told people to be patient, too, but I have no source, I was just advising patience and hope. So that's what I thought you were doing, too.

Just because the game does not feature extended makeup options it doesn't mean it specificly caters to men.

There are several reasons the development focus is on implementing gameplay mechanics, such as Finance and Felony did rather than implementing new ways of layerig clothes... or make up.

 

Not that I wouldn't like to see new clothing options for female and male charactars, don't get me wrong I'd love that, but just because they aren't included it doesn't mean the game caters just to men.

 

The fact that they include both males and females clothes (more or less equally) isn't a valid argument tho.

First of because this is the least they can do when they include both genders. Otherwise, that would be very clearly sexist, and if not, at least unfair to anyone playing with a female character.

 

Also, probably 95% of players using a Male character, are Males.

And about 75% of players using a Female character, are Males as well anyway.

 

Aaaand a fair portion of the player base have 2 characters, one being male and the other female.

The gender of the character has nothing to do with the gender of the player. The vast, vast majority of female characters are played by males. The vast majority of the players of this game are males. Anecdotally, I know several females that play the game and only a single one uses a female avatar.

 

The demographic breakdown of the game is absolutely primarily male. The demographic breakdown of almost every online game skews very much male. Driving and shooting games skew very heavily male, and this game is the perfect storm of both.

Rather than quoting like 15 people, I'll just do this and say I'm glad I only had to skip back one page. Also, here's to hoping a custom Double T is on the way.

ok, but I cant believe to Yan that its coming in August. For me its just his thoughts, nothing more.

 

Why? Because we got extremely hot summer with 2 huge updates. CEO and Stunts. To think logically, R* cant release a 3rd huge update this month, I guess it would September. We should have a time gap between all that content. Plus in august R* will show us masterpieces from CunningStuntsEditor, CEO winners and some funny news about fans, his works, etc.
