To be fair, yes, IIRC there's often server downtime at weekends before DLC.

Athrough I would like this option, I can only see it with unnusable hook.

B/C phisic would go mental if more than one Tow Truck is connected.

Yep, I remember this happening a while ago with some friends and we got some of these spawned in and just tried to hook them all up. The game freaked the f*ck out. It was a f*cking blast though (double entundre intended). But I think that would be the issue as to why they are removed, but I'd also blame P2P servers.

 

In another note, Mach1bud, that Truck is sick, it looks like it came straight out of Mad Max. I wouldn't mind driving that around LS.

They never put it in free roam (to my knowledge). It was SP to MP'd in and and spread that way. And yeah, it was literally breaking/freezing online sessions.

And come on, it's not even as bad as some of the other absolutely absurd mods they've created for some vehicles (Wheelie Bar/Blower on a Chino?)

I don't care about them, maybe someone is into it. What I care is, if they add this modification option they better give us the option to lift and put bigger tire on offroad vehicule in the near future.

simple fix for the tow truck could be that you wouldnt be able to hook up to other tow trucks or vehicles with players in them, that way they wont freak our the game ans still be uaseable in freeroam

Well it looks like the Creator Glitch is finally patched, took them a week this time. Couldn't have been convenient for them trying to figure that out while getting ready to do an update. I hope for Yan's sake they drop the content on Tuesday, because I know all the sh*t posters on here will be unforgiving. I'm not looking forward to the B&M that will hit this thread, but I'm going to be surprised if we get a decent update without a teaser. So either we get a small unannounced update on the predicted day or...?

If it releases on Thursday instead of Tuesday, then that would be better. Most people will have a great weekend because of the new content.

If they added a 75 caprice we should have the option to make it either a donk or a lowrider, very popular in the lowriding scene.

I definitely wouldn't mind waiting longer if they made an announcement and hyped a big update. I just wanted to mention that glitch, and that it's not impossible that it could've been a setback for them. Which isn't something someone leaking information can really account for. I know this is futile, and people will flip sh*t no matter what I say. But if we don't see anything Tuesday, I would rather people understand that a fairly "game breaking" glitch could be to blame for what might seem like false information. That glitch was pretty bad, people were abusing the Warp Glitch to win Freemode Events, VIP Work, Missions, Heists, etc. as well as trolling pretty hard in Freemode. It also allowed you to fill your garages at insurance cost, and it brought back the OTR dupe glitch as well. I assumed they would make sure it was patched before releasing any new content, so that's good news. I'm just doubting the March 15th prediction now, but I won't be discrediting Yan if the prediction is wrong and I hope others can be respectful as well.

See, my dream is that R* finally adds some proper tuners to the game - this kind of thing:

 

 

 

 

So while they've yet to get around to that sort of thing (and no, the wide-body racecars aren't an acceptable substitute, nice as they are...), if they're indeed going to add specific niche-interest stuff like donks, then it just makes it more likely they'll get around to covering other areas of car customisation as well...

 

...or at least, leaves no excuse why they shouldn't cover other niches! Add donks, absolutely - but then add more popular customs as well. Tuners, hot rods, etc.

From what I know about these, the majority of them are picked out of scrap yards. So it was likely save from the crusher actually, which I don't see as being such a terrible thing.

It's a good example of one that was probably frankensteined together from scrapyard parts. At least good sheetmetal was painted and put on the road instead of being crushed. When the fad is over these will all make decent donor cars for restorations.

The stallion already makes a pretty good donk but a lift kit or bigger wheels would help.
