I also wish the T20 doors opened like the new Progen's do.

 

I couldn't agree more, the Progen Tyrus even has animations for closing the doors (both getting in and out) as well.

Wasn't impressed with its handling, on that i would.This car requires skill to drive correctly. I have no problem driving this car.

The Tropos' headlights are so good, I'm driving with them on in broad daylight. They remind me of what Vice City would feel like in the HD era.

From what I can see there only free for those who have transferred from old to current gen.

It's a Vapid. There's a Vapid badge on the side. And it looks like a Toyota Tundra mated with an F-150.

We all have hopes and dreams for tomorrow's update. Things we want that weren't quite shown or mentioned, but we hope will be included anyway.

 

For me, the two biggest things that I'm looking for are more garage space, and the inclusion in Online of the story mode stock racing cars. With all the new cars, some of us are going to need more space, and with the new vehicles being liveried race vehicles, that would be the perfect time to transition the story mode stock cars to Online.

 

Of course, I'm getting a tube of salve ready to apply to the butthurt that I'm sure I'll experience for at least one, maybe both, of those dreams being unfulfilled tomorrow.

Well I don't want to say "I called it" because I didn't really speculate that it was going to actually happen...but I did say I was hoping and dreaming for the stock cars, and I'm pleasantly surprised to see that we actually got them...except for the Sprunk Buffalo, but I assume that will be a dribble release in the coming weeks.

 

And hugely disappointed to see that we didn't get more space to store them in.

 

You know, getting the stock cars today makes me think back on that letter I sent to Rockstar over a year ago, the one I posted a copy of here. In it, I asked for the DoD, the stock cars, and other things that already existed in the game to be made available to us. At the time, some people told me to be patient, that Rockstar probably had a plan for all that. And today I can't help but wonder if they were right, if Rockstar really did have a plan at the time to release a racing update in the future, which they were holding these cars in reserve for. And it makes me wonder if perhaps Rockstar has a plan for the DoD, too, and that unbeknownst to us, but knownst to them, it will eventually be here, too.

 

Again, one can hope and dream...

Not at all.Sure, there was a little worry at the beginning that the cars had to have a livery on them, but that was quickly proven wrong since you can remove liveries while in LSC. Was there a 6th garage slot? No, but that's really not that big a deal to most of us, and only really bothers those who desire to own every single car they have an interest in. There isn't as much customisation as I had personally hoped there would be for some of the vehicles, but to be honest I knew there wouldn't really be all that much. It's brilliant that R* included the SP race car versions of the Dominator, Gauntlet and Stallion in the update as many had hoped and wished for, especially since returning players can have them for free. The races themselves are absolutely amazing and really well done, i've only went over them all myself solo and I still had a blast, and the look at some of the props sure to be added to the creator on August 2nd really gets my hopes up for some quality community made races. Overall this DLC is definitely one of the best so far, and we haven't even received everything yet. The Dune, Cliffhanger and Contender look rally good, and i can't wait to get my hands on them to have some fun, and the Drift Tampa is sure to be a favourite among many, so it's just more to look forward to.

 

I don't really understand why you feel the need to hate on everything without even giving it a chance, and then immaturely and stubbornly stick to what you said before the update came out, even though i'm sure at least something in it has caught your attention, and if not, then oh well, it's not to your taste, but no need to sh*t on it like your opinion os the law and everyone else is a retard for thinking otherwise.

OK, my review of the update:

 

Stunt Races:

  • What a pleasant surprise! They are ultra fun and they are only R* created ones. Multi checkpoints are relly nice touch. It's gonna be crazy after Aug 2nd.

 

Cars:

  • Annis RE-7B - for now, disappointment. Not my favorite looking car and doesn't fit the atmosphere of GTA. IMO it should stay exclusive to races. It would be interesting. 7/10
  • Emperor ETR1 - another disappointment. It looks nice and has SOME customization tho. 7.5/10
  • Grotti Brioso R/A - great car, finally new compact, shame that it has those carbon fenders. 8/10
  • Lampardati Tropos Rallye - BEST. CAR. FROM. DLC. EVER! 10/10
  • Nagasaki BF-400 - meh. 6/10
  • Obey Omnis - I'd love that car if only we had an option for completely stock one. 8.5/10
  • Progen Tyrus - Shame it hasn't have option to remove the spoiler. Other than that, it's glorious! 9.75/10
  • Vapid Desert Raid - Such an ugly vehicle. The non removable wheels at the back doesn't help it. 6/10
  • Vapid Trophy Truck - This one is miles better than DR. But again non removable wheels and no customization options are big problems. 7.5/10
  • Western Gargoyle - It could be my favorite bike, if it had ANY customization parts! I would have prefere it if it had single headlight. 8.5/10

Unreleased ones:

  • Cliffhanger - same as Gargoyle. Why it hasn't any customization options! 8/10
  • Ocelot Lynx - Finally new Ocelot. Sexy one too. But it's too similar to Massacro and Seven-70. 9/10
  • Declasse Drift Tampa - WHY IT IS NOT IN BENNY'S??? WHY DID YOU MADE ANOTHER RUMPO CUSTOM, THAT ALSO HAD POTENTIAL FOR BEING BEENY'S CARS??? WHY IT HAS ZERO CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS??? It looks like Hoonicoon, I will give them that. 7/10, if they ever gonna add Benny's customization: 10/10
  • Vapid Contender - WHY. DO. YOU. KEEP. USING. THE. NAMES. OF. THE. CARS. FROM. IV. THAT. SHOULD. BE. IN. THE. GAME. SINCE. BEGINING?!? ANOTHER SANDKING. 0/10

Lol, the races are horrible, and will only last a week, the cars are overpriced as hell and all of them feel the same tbh.
