I saw this on Facebook earlier. Would be real sweet if it was what we think it is, but they'd need to add a new map to the game (or extend the existing one). I fear many people just wouldn't bother with Los Santos if we had a new area to explore. I wonder whether it's a future release though for SP stuff, or maybe someone at Rockstar is working on GTA VI.

are you all new to online games?

 

there are no games that allow you to continue progression of your character on the newer release. what is the point of releasing a new game?

 

the risk you take with buying cash cards is that one day, nobody will play the game, and the money you spent will have no value anymore. that's what happens with video games.

I don't know why people keep bringing that up. The game being capped at level 8000 means absolutely nothing. There are 0 signs of your progress transferring over.

 

Like you and others have said, it would be pointless to transfer over money, rank, and/or other items. It'll be a new game, starting at the bottom is the way to go. I don't want to buy everything in the game on day one, that's what's killed GTA O for a lot of us IMO. If you spent money on Shark Cards and lose that, that's on you. Hell, you can't transfer Shark Card money from PS3 to XB1 or PC, only to PS4. What makes y'all think y'all will be able to transfer it to a whole different game?

 

Another thing, Rockstar is all about the money from GTA V/O and forward, they would lose tens of millions of dollars by letting people transfer money. It would be a stupid business move.

They will however most likely allow you to transfer your rank, weapons and clothes since in the scope of things could be explained as a botched heist which explains why lester says we are in reliable. But really noone knows until GTA: Whatever

Okay don't believe me? When the trailer comes out remember I said something about a Heavy Assault a Super GT and some other Scar look alike... Got it here first folks

We talked about the assault sniper and the heavy rifle (aka scar) nearly three weeks ago on another thread (my first post on this forum). This stuff was found long time ago and definitly not by you or me so do not say you found or talked about it first, because you talked about it after me and i talked about it years after it has been found. It looks like its cut, but yes it fits the theme and could still be added but i sadly think the dropped it for ever.

 

For the part with the trailer: I do not think that it was there because you are the only one who talks about it and its very unlikely that you are the only person on the whole world who saw it.

Why do people think they would have to "ADD" to the map? All they need to do is have a trigger that you could program to load the player into a different environment. No need to add anything.

Kinda disappointed. I thought there would be more super cars. And if your bringing new cars why bring an old one from Gta 4. Plus I was hoping the CEO HQ's would be more dynamic in creativity with your crew. But it's whateves cool trailer

This. Yes, we can be loaded into a different map, but then a good portion of players will want to be on that map thus making the existing one redundant. I would much rather either connect the maps with bridges (real-time - no loading screens) or put it offshore and have us sail/fly there (again, in real-time, no loading screens).
