Good point you have there. But in all honesty, I don't think anybody really knows when the hell even just an announcement will come out. Praying it will be today, but I don't know if we can really predict what R* are doing anymore in terms of release dates, or any DLC news in general.

 

Of course not, which is why I'm speculating.

 

If the vague article was posted on May 7, 2015 that would make it the first Thursday in May 2015, with the official IGG 1 announcement being posted June 1 (Monday) and the release being on June 10, the second Wednesday of that month

 

If the vague article this year was posted on May 9, 2016, the second Monday in May 2016, we can guess maybe we will see an official announcement for an update (quite possible F&F), on June 1st or 3rd... with a possible release date of June 8, or an announcement on June 8 with official release date on either June 14th or 15th

No I don't think so, they've only done this with small updates and not with "feature rich" updates. And they've been trying really hard to stop any form of leaking, tunables is a guaranteed leak-fest.

Most likely not. It's actually more likely Independence update will be added as tunables with and then activated. Cunning Stunts will most likely be an update of its own.

The only reason non of the annonced updates are released yet, is because they are not done yet, otherwise, why would R* keep a fully finished updated away?

 

Another note, how are leaks harmful to R*, are they affecting cash card sales? or are they driving the players away?

Wouldn't it be nice if they shared their plans with players? Not necessarily EVERYTHING, but things that have a good chance of coming to fruition. We have evidence of scrapped content. There are limitations, but it would be nice to have a list of what's in the pipeline and periodic updates. I know there was a lot of backlash over heists mostly due to an underestimated time frame for completion. It'd still be nice to know what may be coming... whenever it's ready. As something gets close to being done, provide an estimated release time frame.

or and this is my personal theorie,rockstar announced Those updates early because they know that the last few "updates" did more damage then good so they tried to controll the damage by revealing Those updates in a early state resulting in them not being able to give us more info yet. Inb4 i'm being called a impatient f*ck again.

I expect that to be the case, probably. There were a lot of missing details in that post, if I do recall correctly.

Most of the stuff that has been released to date had been 'ready' for a while, and there are several more updates ready for the future with prospective release dates - that aren't set in stone mind you. With your point of view, every update remaining should all be released in one go, which I'm sure would please some people, but doesn't give the game as much longevity, nor does it open the door for the company to get any extra revenue.

 

And what would happen with these 400+ page threads if that were to happen, where would everyone go!?

• Shark card bonus arriving today (wed 25)
• The game is more glitchy and buggy than usually
• This capture event week will soon come to an end and be replaced whit a new one.

 

The signs are there and i think it will be released in the end of may. Most of the people who bought Uncharted 4 has beaten the game and i think that R* is waiting it out

so they can release new content to GTAO.

Lets say we get a map expansion! Only a that big update is worth to show of at E3.

But thats my rant!

This is speculation, the same way they did it to the locked Lowriders.

I found them on my in game phone and suspect they will have something to do with the HQ/warehouse content based on their blurb.

 

Here is the blurb, but I would love to know more.

• qabeta2 has not been updated for 22 days. You are grasping at straws.
• We had another shark card bonus week about 3 weeks ago too, nothing came of it
• The game is always glitchy/buggy. I believe you are experiencing the placebo effect.
• This may be tru, it may not be true. But it still does indicate a new update is on the horizon.

You may be surprised what they would possibly show at E3. Some show off some very little and simple things. I really don't see any indication that an update will be released at the end of May, even a surprise update. The best we could hope for, update wise, before mid-June, is a small update like the January Update (yes it is officially called the January 2016 update on Social Club). Nothing big, just small enough to satiate the masses.

I remember seeing it in storymode as the in-game company that helps each character to take care of their properties. I wouldn't think it is new, and may have been a site in Online since day one.

The fact that they're taking more time makes me think the update will contain more stuff than we originally thought. It damn sure should!
