I guess the only passion we'll see is the cash card or adversary mode one.

There won't be any more DLC.

Link or source?

Otherwise it's pure speculation

With the amount of time they've spent making adversary modes, they could have made well over 50 new contact missions. I would play the hell out of those.

Bullsh*t, you obviously have no idea how game developement works.

With the time they spent working on Adversary Modes they could have made, maybe 10 contact Missions, at best.

Re-Dragon-Cro

I maybe in the minority but I have never had anyone change my opinion on anything. I evaluate and decide 100% on my own.

My wife and I decide things together if they involve both of us but typically I handle it.

I highly recommend at least trying to see things from different perspectives. It makes you a well rounded person.

What I've noticed here is that people like to be stuck in their own little worlds and figure everything works a certain way, that things are only how they see it. When encountering something that they don't understand, they resort to making often bold assumptions. People think they know everything around here.

There's always "I don't see why somebody would like that, maybe [insert something asinine]" and et cetera. In fact, that's what got the other topic locked. Remember that whole super cars suck thing and me jumping on who said it. It had nothing to do with my opinion. It had everything to do with the lack of trying to see things from another point of view.

You like the game. Fine. You think it's flawless. Well some people do happen to think there's a lot of flaws with the game. That doesn't mean that they hate it. Some people see things and get over it while others are more detail oriented and it bugs them. No need to bash a certain group.

Agree with this a lot, if people were more like this here(to be honest not just here, but in the real world aswell considering some of the primitive stuff and behaviour still going around in it) rash and unwanted words and actions could be avoided.

On-topic: I sure hope the adversary mode ain't the only thing to be released as otherwise it will be a pretty long time since we got a proper update(them releasing 3 cars over the whole month from a update from the month before isn't exactly what I would call a proper update, eventhought the cars were actually pretty great)

line of chop

Looking at it that way, we've had the same amount of content updates as 2014 at this point. Rockstar opted to spread the content out over two months, instead of having two months of nothing. Which, I think, was better than having nothing for a month. If all of the content in the Lowrider Custom Classics update was released in March and there was nothing but silence in April, I wonder how the community would have reacted for the past month.

EXACTLY!

i'd rather have them release stuff every month, than having to sit empty handed for 2-3months, but hey people would bitch anyway.

release stuff every month, people bitch

release nothing, people bitch

release cheap, stuff people bitch

release expensive, stuff people bitch

release new cars, people bitch

release gta 4 cars, people bitch

add cars to bennys, people bitch

add lowriders, people bitch

release adversary modes, people bitch

good or bad we are constantly receiving content and people still bitch all the time!

All the content is the same boring sh*t.

Has Fun said why he is stopping?

Because he has been wrong pretty often lately.

But seriously, Yan is still alive and kicking, so I don't see why this is a big deal. Although Fun had rather good skills in debunking/decrypting files and stuff, Yan's source is also very credible and his infos are rarely wrong. I'm sure he will continue to share some tidbits of information whenever he can, but for now my guess is that his source is laying low (and I'm pretty good at guessing :colgate:).

When Yan's source stops feeding him information, then we will all be stuck. Rockstar have been so strict and tight on leaks recently, it is very difficult to predict what is coming next especially when Rockstar are known for staying quiet.

It has got to the point where, it doesn't matter who you are, if your information doesn't somehow link to Rockstar. It is considered speculation and the chance of that information being right is the same as everyone else's. no matter what anybody says.

My expectations are almost zero at this point, and i still reserve the right to be disappointed by whatever they may or may not release. They have a habit of putting out neutered or broken cars, clothes, game modes, apartments...why even get my hopes up?

If your expectation is "zero" getting disappointed is literally impossible.

Here's my optimism for the day. There was only a significant discount on yachts recently and then this week, nothing on cars, properties, nada. It might be some evidence that they're draining people's GTA banks in order to stick them with really expensive stuff soon...

Hopefully finally a car that is more expensive than the T20, like...... 5 million. 50 k insurance, line ten of those suckers up with randoms and wait for a jet troll to come out of his basement. Boom, big dent in his wallet. :D

half of them woudnt even care if the insurance cost was 200 k i think

When Yan's source stops feeding him information, then we will all be stuck. Rockstar have been so strict and tight on leaks recently, it is very difficult to predict what is coming next especially when Rockstar are known for staying quite.

The community has become so reliant on leaks that a lot don't even enjoy the DLC when it drops because they already know everything about it, then complain how sh*t it or R* is, and demand more DLC's because what was leaked wasn't enough. People seem to be more hyped for leaks than the actual announcement or even playing the game - they'd believe anything that makes some sort of sense and is called a leak, until someone with knowledge steps in and calls it fake. Not to mention people who don't want to get spoiled get spoiled because the leaks are basically posted everywhere as soon as they appear.

It might actually be a good thing for everyone (except YouTubers and people using DLC leaks as some sort of a life support) when the leaks stop.

Yep, I think it is for the best.

I am sure R* will soon have found Yans source as well, so they can put a halt to it.

But I have to say, R* needs to communicate, some sort of Road Map what they got planned for Online Mode, similar how Ubisoft and Bohemia Interactive do theirs.

It wouldn't need to go into anything specific, simple things like: "January to May: Small/Medium DLCs and Adversary Modes", "May to July: A big DLC and small DLC" etc.

That way the community wouldn't complain everytime R* releases an Adversary Mode.

I just noticed this myself, the month of April I apreciated most of the Adversary Modes and Event weeks, but for the 3rd May an "Update" was assumed by funmw2, therefor I got disappointed when it did not drop.

If I wouldn't have assumed said Update, I'd be entirely fine with the Event week and wouldn't have had some sort of mental breakdown yesterday.

I'm sorry but that is solely the persons fault if they are being spoiled by leaks. nobody is forcing them to know about these leaks and in my honest opinion i believe its the leaks that creates more anticipation for GTA: Online rather than being left in the dark mainly because of Rockstars unpredictable DLC release times. I know that when i play gta online and im getting bored to stop playing for some time but i know in my mind that i have Yan and Funmw2 to tell us that theres something special or DLC happening which excites me to play the game before anything is released.

Also regardless of leaks, Rockstars content as we have stated before is just lacking horribly recently which is why people hate Benny's and Adversary mode because its the same sh*t they keep pushing out. if i was Rockstar i would throw out a hint of what our next big DLC is this summer if they even have one planned.

God, this is depressing. I love Rockstar, I really do. GTA has been in my life since I was just a little little kid. Seeing GTA just get run into the ground with this pointless sh*t so they could sell microtransactions, it just doesn't feel like Rockstar. It feels too corporate for them, they were always the cool devs who never gave a f*ck and pushed out some of the best games I've ever played. This game still entertains me because at it's heart it really is a great game. If I was able to Enjoy GTA IV freemode for years and years this should obviously keep my interest. But seriously, Rockstar needs to show passion again.

You are free to play this almost exactly like GTA IV multiplayer, you know. 98% of what you probably own in the game is optional and doesn't help you that much if you just want to goof off and kill people.

And the alternative to micro transactions is probably a subscription fee. Which do you prefer? Because however it gets paid for, most of us prefer lots of DLC over none.

That is true, you also make a good point. leaks do ruin the surprise element, without a doubt. Leaks are good for the short term but not for the long term. imagine if we didn't get the E&OC leaks or the LCC leaks, we would be pretty hyped with any update. The January update was received with so much praise, which I think was because it wasn't leaked. This is what R* wants. The only issue i see with not having leaks, is that this thread will be 100% wishlists and there will be no point of its existences.

I'd go for the wishlist thread...f*ck this thread seriously.

I think we will be excited to find out what Rockstar have planned for us "soon". (their definition of soon isn't like everyone else's). They have done a really good job on keeping the Next update sealed. Tbh the only way I can see this thread being effective is by breaking down some sort of announcement trailer.

Yea well.

With soon I think they mean "in two weeks at best".

R* North employees also said "probably early may", so I wondered even at that time that the Update releasing on May 3rd would be unlikely.

If someone says "probably early may"; I assume the release date is not set in stone for anyone and it will most likely release in the first two weeks of May.

I expect an announcement on May 15th, next week will probably be another Adversary Mode week, with the last two In and Out Maps releasing and the Inch by Inch map releasing as well.
