Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 1)

Looks like now is probably the right time for me to send a 5th mail to R* about the SA Elegy / R34 and few other vehicles.

That is the thing you see, I have been waiting for Rockstar to write them little messages after an article at the bottom of the page for a while now, hoping they hint something. However I have come to wonder what do they mean when they say "updates". I don't think their definition of updates is the same as ours. Rockstar probably consider the Sabre GT week, Tornado week, Adversary maps as updates to GTA Online. or maybe they wrote that message to tell people that, the Newswire is where you will find more information when we announce it. Who Knows?

However they have now told us twice to wait for Information regarding future updates. This makes me wish they are going to tell us what is coming in some sort of Announcement or A&A or both very, very soon. (if I had to bet i would say Thu/Fri). What is longest time we have waited before we got an update?

I think you just don't understand that they cannot answer to every single email, lol

The "bot response" even tells you that they read your feedback but cannot answer it.

 

I doubt R* would constantly ask for people to send stuff to that EMAIL if they didn't read it.

 

A lot of stuff I suggested made it into the game allready, now that might be a coincidence or it might not be one, for example about a year ago I send them an EMAIL about adding a Bodyguards system into Online, well in my EMAIL I suggested that players AND NPCs could become peoples bodyguards, but I guess they scrapped the NPC idea.

 

While they will of course NOT add whole concepts or updates, they will certainly take their inspiration from said EMAILs, especially if it is about small features being added/changed, I believe the no-contact races also were a suggestion made through those Emails.

 

Also removing custom jobs was a suggestion I send them in through said Email:

 

 

please turn the Custom Jobs for the Matchmaking in GTA Online off, as those are 90 % of the time LOW quality, a good compromise would be to only allow R* Verified Jobs, wich are selected every now and when.

Here are some quotes from people on the Board who underline my urgently needed feature request:

"99% of the time when attempting to join random jobs, you will be placed into these crap custom made missions, which are either death-traps or nearly impossible to do"

" I've gotten in to a mode called 'Last team standing' a lot and I like it. And every time I try to join it, there's somebody 9/10 times hosting Snipers Vs Stunters?! I want to play a normal LTS without these custom-made jobs."

Well they have listened to the community in the past for sure. Lowriders and Yachts were some of the things I saw requested the most on GTAForums before they were eventually added. But they obviously can't just put in every single thing you ask them to through the email.

.... All emails that are sent to Rockstar's online suggestion address recieve the same automated response. If they had an actual person (or people) responding to every email they get, you probably wouldn't get a reponse for a LONG time.

 

I don't think you know how many people email them on a daily basis with suggestions and ideas. You're not that special out of everyone else, bud. I'm pretty sure they do read a fair amount, if not all of them.

I bet they are talking about new adversary modes where one team has Lazers, and another team has to deliver an Emperor all the way from Paleto Bay to Cypress Flats, Hydra team wins if they kill the delivery team before they get to the target zone.

There's also the whole 'p_assist' thing, too - although like with previous discoveries, there's no telling how many updates away that particular function will come, if at all...

I like Adv Modes, but nobody plays them. I would happily enjoy an update based on them. After all, LTS was hardly played before the LTS update, and now it's easy to find a match most of the time.

 

What would they do though (apart from obvious adv modes) in the update? Give more beast and slasher clothing for sale? Add more weapons for beast and slasher?

If there is no leak or information to speculate on, shouldn't the thread be left alone? It's like people can't understand this concept. You don't have to always be posting in a speculation thread like a junkie waiting for a fix, if there's no information to speculate/discuss, then just wait until it comes along.

Instead of giving us Adversary modes per update they could give us VIP missions per update, or Freemode events per update. That would be better in my opinion.
