Oh definitely. The simplicity of Rampages was just beautiful.

 

Just picking up a weapon or getting in a tank, then the carnage would start up. I'd love them back. They could hide an M60 somewhere.

@Xenox, LOL, I think this game has plenty of fighting and killing, wave after wave of adversary modes is what Rockstar is fixated on. Seems that the disappoinment comes from no being enough friendly RPG elements to the game, Not enough scenarios to get to know eachother

 

With my original Beach Party idea. when the circle disappears, it could turn into a killing spree, Not sure how it would work out cause I would diffently want to gun everyone down after the beach party is over, lol

No, just no.

 

No new RPG Elements, no skills, no skill tree, no masteries, not the same bullsh*t that ruined games like The Division or Destiny.

No classes, no just no, no, no no no no no no.

 

GTA is about blowing stuff up etc. I agree there are some immersive moments, but please don't describe them as "RPG elements", because RPG is the absolute WORST, that could happen to this game.

I might overreact, but hell NO please NO RPG Elements, they would RUIN GTA Online for me just like they ruined The Division and Destiny, just like the ruined WoW, I hate RPG elements.

That is somehow similar to the Kill List Event, but I agree that some more of them would be cool.

I would enjoy a throwback dlc to gta 4 with cars like the pmp, coquette, contender, THE REAL TURISMO, sentinel xs, feroci, hakumai, lokus, presidente. Guns such as the aa12 and p90 and a baseball bat you can use to smack motherf*ckers on your motorcycle. Some throwback hairstyles would be nice like including niko, luis, and johnnys hairstyle as well as their signature outfits and walk/running styles. Also all the episodes of princess robot bubblegum along with new episodes would be nice so me and 18 of my best dogs could have an all day princess robot bubblegum marathon. Oh and an official I hate karen Daniels website added to the in game website

@Xenox, The Division is just fine, I play Hard Mode on missions with my friends cause their servers join us instantly within seconds, unlike the 20 minute plus frustration that is Rockstar servers .

I immersed myself into their Apocalyptic storyline and then was on the edge of my seat for 1 1/2 hours of combat in the hard mode main missions.

After a weekend of The Division I went back to GTA online and it was a cakewalk, I had my best streak of 25 unique player kills in a row across a few sessions before being taken down. I credit it to the Division for honing my skills.

 

Talked to the clerk at Gamestop and he said the customers have nothing but praise for that game. Sure it doesnt have the replayabilty and longevity that GTA 5 has but I sure got my moneys worth out of it.

 

The RPG is already the campaign mode of GTA 5 and I didnt care for Trevor, Michael nor Franklin, all three I have zero interest in playing. I cant relate to any of them.

 

about Rampage, agreed that was fun, cant believe they took it away, I wondered where it went.

It's pretty ironic that one of the most wanted dlcs (Lowriders) are one of the most things that people complain about now. xD

That is somehow similar to the Kill List Event, but I agree that some more of them would be cool. uhm. Destiny was always marketed as having Those RPG elements. So did the division. So i don't know what you expected when you played these games.

I think you don't know what a RPG is to be honest, the campaign mode of GTA V is not RPG, at all, it is only very immersive with some VERY MINOR RPG elements.

 

 

While the Division has f*cking Skill Trees, Skills as well as an extremely annoying HUD.

Games like The Division or Assassins Creed just do not allow me to immerse myself in them because they have a HUD all over the f*cking screen.

For me at least, it was no immersion, rather a grind or something similar.

I hate "Loot", skill trees or skills, those things just ruin a game for me.

Destiny was planned and marketed as an Open World, they showed it off as if I could walk around this huge world doing the missions I like, but it turned out to shooting in a black corner while farming loot.

 

Also the first The Division trailers showcased a HUGE Dark Zone, they made no mention of missions or anything of that sort.

I thought it would be like a DayZ with better mechanics, a giant SandBox there groups of players compete over gear, but instead they clusterf*cked the UI and HUD and filled the game with unnecessary bullet spongy enemies.

^I bought that game because I wanted to try it with a friend, I don't realy have any financial restrictions, I sometimes just buy games to "critic" them.

 

However the game had so much potential when it was shown off in the First Trailer, the first Trailer DIFFERS a LOT from the final release, unfortunately.

I would call GTA campaign with some RPG just because the freedom they give you to explore Los Santos, purchase and collect and make partial decisions what you want to do next and follow your progression instead of a linear campain like COD. sure its no Fallout, Elder Scrolls and WOW. but you sure are harsh on The Division and its solely your opinion. I had no problems with its HUD and understand my progression and levels perfectly and it wasnt distracting, It egged me on to progress further.. You sure are a cynical type. The fact that The DIvision was a loot collecting game has been clear from the beginning and if its not youre type of game, stay away from it. Stay away from Fallout 4, Dying Light and Destiny as well.

that's what you get when you stop following a game after the first trailer. You should know by now that that first trailer NEVER show off the whole game. Based On your reaction i'm suprised that you where not pissed about the fact that gta v has 3 protagonists instead of 1. I mean the first trailer only had micheal narrating it which coused many people to believe that only he would be the protagonist. If you followed The division marketing after the first trailer you would have known what to realy expect. But back to topic Edited by jdv95

Fun didn't found VIP Missions, he found a new VIP Menu, I wouldn't necessarily connect these sort of things though, they may be unrelated and simply to provide variety to races and adversary modes.

I give up with this thread, it's 95% "my opinion is right and yours is wrong" and actually 5% about upcoming DLC. Even the leakers have been swallowed up and sh*tposting. I come here everyday when I get the chance to catch up on whats coming to gta, if anything has been leaked that is.
