I tell you what. I have nothing but the up most respect to BossFTW. I never knew this site existed, stumbled on a boss vid, and was told of gta forums from there. I think he is classy and polite.

Rockstar is so tight lipped with new content, that we try finding info anywhere we can! I remember reading about when tiger wood's wife gave birth to there child they released pictures early to stop the paparazzi from finding and selling the pics. R* could learn a lot from that!

Ready weapons for DLC`s.

I remember seeing some discussion about these weapons back in the Beta hunt thread, and I want to say it was _CP_ who found this info, but I may be wrong.

So, those 4 cut weapons are named Heavy MG, Heavy Rifle, Assault Sniper, and Programmable AR. All 4 of these were THE orginal collectors edition weapons, which were replaced with the hammer, Pistol .50, and Bullpup shotgun. The reasons for this happening varies for each gun. If we take a look at the builds.xml log, we can see that the Programmable AR (XM25) was broken beyond repair, it didn't work at all. The model for the weapon was the only functioning thing about it.

Now let's look at the Heavy Rifle (SCAR-H). There aren't many mentions of it in the build log, but it did have an issue with its model constantly swapping with the normal Assault Rifle. Don't know much else about it.

The Heavy MG has a mention or two in the build log, but I can't remember what for. Same with the Assault Sniper, which was likely replaced by the marksman Rifle.

If any of this information is wrong, please don't hesitate to correct me.

The XM-25 may be broken because of C*'s work, but a modder on PC made it work and hell... i need that. Search it in GTA5Mods and watch the video, it's good stuff.

And YES, I think we should have a realistic military update with REAL uniforms and new Lamar-style missions for Trevor and Lester.

I haven't bought a shark card in a a good year an a half, and have been grinding money steadily. Should be able to buy whatever they release without resorting to shark cards for a good while. I don't agree with shark cards so I don't support them. I can't stand MrballsFTW, so i don't watch ANY of his videos and dislike the ones that get linked to here or anywhere else I see em.

All you can really do as a fan is vote with your currency of locale, or the attention you give, or DON'T give to sh*tty youtubers. If GTA keeps up like this, it's PRETTY simple, i'll stop buying and playing the games. As a busy, working adult it would be pretty easy to let go of at this point, and if the franchise doesn't get better, thats exactly what i'll do.

Although, there is still much potential to be added to both GTA's Single Player and Online (Casino, Bahama Mamas etc.), I'm almost certain this year will be the last year for GTA V updates. You shouldn't trust Rockstar when they say sh*t like "we will carry on with GTA Online as long as people are still playing...". They always change their minds. It is about their best interests not yours.

We all know what they mean by that, as long as people keep buying cash kerds they will keep updating the game. Also, you really can't blame or pick on them for that, that's just how business is.

It's simple, as long as GTA Online generates revenue, they will continue with it, so as long as a lot of people keep playing it, it will stay supported.

Regarding the next Update, my take on it is, "probably early may, I'll let you know."

Let us be honest. Rockstar aren't going to update GTA V for another 3/4 years no matter how much Shark cards they generate. They have to stop updating GTA V eventually and move on to other things. Whether this is to persuade players to buy their other products (Red Dead etc.). Rockstar/T2 even said they weren't going to "Milk" the franchise. I know, they are a Private Sector business who's aim is to generate profit, but you have to understand Shark Cards may cost more than the actual game but not everyone buys them, they should be considered a bonus rather than the main objective. Another example is just like what they did with LG saying things like they "have no plans to make a CG Version..." and then suddenly making everything Exclusive to CG. They sort of forced you to buy a CG version of GTA V without being physical. They will do the same with new games by slowly forcing you to buy their new games. Other franchises may not be as popular as GTA but if R* says something like "we are going to stop updating the game soon to focus on other projects", I know the number of GTA Players will fall dramatically.

Rockstar will do whatever is in their best Interest not yours. Anyway, the only way I can see them updating GTA Online, a couple of years from now is by giving us an update every 4 or so months, instead of the usual one per month which is unlikely at this point.

Actualy they said that GTA Online is going to be updated and their team is working on other projects at the same time.

Additionally they said that Last Gen will be "their main focus for now", they never said they won't stop updating last gen.

Yes, eventually when the next Grand Theft Auto releases, at that time and point they will stop updating Vs GTA Online but probably carry on to the next GTA Online.

And it is in their entire interest to generate money, especially if you consider that GTA Online made just as much as GTA IV did on Release, so pracitcly GTA Online is a seperate game generating more revenue than other AAA Games.

Not to mention that Shark Cards are the most profitable thing to the company since they got almost a 100 % cut off their microtransactions.

I am sure, one way or the other they are going to keep updating GTA Online, whether it is in my interest or not, as long as enough people still play, they'll keep going.

Maybe the Updates will not be as frequent anymore and rather replaced with Creators being released for specific modes, allowing the Community to create their own content.

You guys all act as if GTA Online will be shut down in a year, but that isn't the case, as much as you'd want it to be, it's not going to happen unless you all suddenly stop playing.

GTA Online is the 3rd most played game on Steam, not even considering the non-steam copies of the game.

Anyway, I think we should watch out for an Update announcement next week, I could imagine R* announcing their next Update at that time, assuming their Update releases "early may" or on May 3rd with the In and Out Adversary Mode.
