Obligatory "can't bitch and moan about free DLC's" ...but... if this leak is true I won't be playing it that often anymore. I'm a bit late to the party, so I guess this will be burried. ANYHOW:

 

I play gta online since october 2013 and it is one of the best games I've ever played. But recently I began to feel a sense of boredom when playing the game after 44 days playing time.

 

There have been a lot of awesome updates (heists, Valentine's , Executives and Flight School are one of my favourites) which had and still are a great value to diversity and the playing experience.

 

IRL I'm a big petrol head, and I like every new update which contains new cars/vehicles or customizations for them. I still appreciate new cars coming to the game, but since there are almost more cars added than the amount of cars we had at the launch of gta online, I don't see the (significant) value to the player experience.

 

DLC's and updates in the future should contain content that expand diversity for all kind of players. I understand that there are limitations for consoles etc., but some content can even be transferred from singleplayer (la minor thing like hunting for example, should be fun with friends imo).

 

I have many ideas for new updates (which don't have to be huge) that could improve the game for all players with all their different wishes and tastes. A lot of wishes have been brought up for years, but not be introduced to the game. Like more activities in the north, more things to do in the sea/yachts etc etc etc. But instead R* (If this leak is true and the only content) comes up with MORE cars and these adversary modes that nobody plays. Btw, adversary modes are potentially fun, but not the ones we have now that are unbalanced and not crowded.

 

Almost every friend of mine left gta on the shelf for a long time, and I start tending to do the same. I was convinced the game was still fun if you made it fun yourself by doing awesome tricks and activities on the map, but I'm not sure anymore...

 

I hope this leak is BS in some amount and R* will introduce an amazing DLC which will make me happy playing the game again for a huge amount of extra days:)

I think this is one of the fundamental mistakes in this thread. You can't bitch and moan about completely unconfirmed rumours that may be out of context or just plain wrong (you think Rockstar is above f*cking with the leakers?)

 

There may be 100 new contact missions, a jetpack and chrome strippers. How would you feel then?

 

Yes, LR2 seems inevitable. Yes, various models and clues have been found. Yes, even the leakers would confirm they don't know the full details.

It won't make sense to add Faction3 as we already have "Faction Custom".

With all this hot rod talk, I was thinking Faction3 might be a high performance upgrade for the Faction, giving you the choice between it or the Faction Custom when upgrading the stock vehicle at Benny's. That could also potentially explain Virgo2 (Virgo Custom) and Virgo3 (high performance variant).

Why not? Because it is speculation? I see your point though, but I just bitch 'n moan about the hypothetical content. That's in people's nature, especially the Dutch, which I am;) Like I said at the end, I hope this is bullsh*t and R* will proof wrong to these so-called "leaks".

They actually removed nearly all the missions that differ from this formula, including

 

chemical extraction

american exports

docks to stocks 2

pickup sticks

etc

 

..and others that are more fun (the playlistable non-contact ones) never show in vote screens or Play Job lists.

 

And yeah B&M away about hypotheticals but no DLC has ever, ever leaked in full and this shouldn't be an exception.

Yeah, I can hardly remember Chemical Extraction, I do remember it was fun though.

American Exports and Docks to stocks 2 was pretty much the same as Docks to stocks 1.

And Pick up sticks was one of the hardest and most fun missions.

Give us the removed missions back please R*.

I remember those, they were quite fun. Did R* ever gave a reason why they were removed? New missions with new formats would be so refreshing if you ask me. Still prefer new things in freemode to f*ck around with.

Here's a thought, a bit crazy, but a thought. What if Lowriders and the Sultan RS and Banshee 900R were just tests to bring nearly all cars to Benny's to have that special customization. I know, it sounds a bit crazy, but it has already been proven that Benny will be doing more than just lowriders. Just think about it.

Anyway, back on topic, I'm more looking forward to what small things will happen with the next update. You know, stuff in the patch notes that doesn't really get predicted. Could be bug fixes, adjustments, that kind of thing.

I hope the slam van will have an optional cabin for the truck bed that will have a hyropaulic lift that you can raise and lower I remember seeing tricked out trucks like those when I was a kid in the early 90s

Alll of those missions were removed because of bugs and random fails happening and as I've said before personally I think they were just quietly

dropped after Heists and the new move to Adversary Modes being introduced.

 

As stated American Exports and Docks to Stock II are almost identical to Docks to Stocks 1, Chemical Extraction is almost a mimick of Humane Labs Raid

heist and A Boat in the Bay was very similar to Diamonds are For Trevor.

 

Pickup Sticks had nothing similar as was gone long before VIP mode was ever introduced, have tried several times to get the topic discussed but no one

seems interested.

Unlikely, tomorrow is the last day of this 2x RP and $ bonus, so i think friday will announce the update hopefully with a trailer

I used to be able to clear a room with grenades, now the grenades clear me out instead behind cover. Blast radius increase?

I'm not sure. I'm often kind of clumsy with them, end up throwing them at my feet, etc.

 

But when I throw them properly they usually work.
