I remember thoroughly giving up on GTA:O a week before E&OC was announced. The day it was announced, I was so excited and sang Rockstar's praises. The truth is, many of you are frustrated that R* isn't putting your dream content in the game, I'd say they've left out quite a bit of stuff we'd love to see. The DLCs aren't over, guys. We'll be getting another one, a better one, it'll be game changing and we'll love it. I have no info or leak or even a hunch, I'm just looking at how last year went DLC-wise. I'd say a lot of people liked that, and R* knows it. Just wait till May, guys. I bet R* has been working on DLC for the summer and this time has been them just making sure it'll work perfectly and maybe, just maybe, the good members of GTAForums will have nothing to complain about til the next DLC drops. I don't see them stopping until 2017 and they can only get better from here.

I see some differing opinions on which city should/could/has been rumored to be, next. As a martyr for VC, that's my dream. And for those who think current day Miami couldn't compete with it's 80's counterpart that was VC, Ima just leave this here...

I'm sorry, but... New York, San Fransisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Moscow, Rome and many many more cities are a lot more interesting locations for GTA. Modern day Miami has nothing special to offer, like every single one of the cities I mentioned. When I see that picture of yours, I just see a big but rather bland city with no distinguished, world-renowned character.

Unfrotunately I'm also of Vice City making a return to the current consoles, I probably won't buy the next one until they finally do a modern Vice City.

Sydney would be the ultimate GTA playground just because no other city on the planet is a better "map". But I doubt we will see that one .

at first it was kinda funny but...

 

the game have so much to offer, yet we have people acting as if R* is actively forcing them to buy new cars and play the new adversary modes!

 

PLOT TWIST... you dont have to buy the new cars if you dont like it, you dont have to play sumo, inch by inch or whatever adversary mode they add.

If they'd just stop on trying to get me to do it, 5 minutes and i have 7 invitations to Sumo, and the other crappy adv. modes and 3 reminders that the Tornado is now available for Benny's, i f*cking know just leave me alone

What "character" does Miami not have that these other places supposedly had?

 

It's an ultra-modern city in an always-sunny clime. It's a melting pot of American wealth, redneck simplicty, Cuban immigration, import/export, drug crime, wide flat roads and an pervasive canal system plus the gateway to the Carribean all situated in a place filled with beautiful people from around the world and surrounded by a rich semi-tropical climate and extensive swamps and wetland forest but still including pristine beaches.

I'm sorry but i would not agree to a Miami/Vice City setting again because Vice City is very small. hell look at how small it was in GTA:Vice City. if they ever brought it to Miami then i hope R* is allowing the ability for travel to other states/countries like R* has said that would love to do in GTA 6 or some other Future GTA title i believe. This would be the only way i'd be satisfy with having such a small area like Vice City.

i'd love to see them do a stand alone MMO of GTA adding expansions along the way that add new cities wherever they may be...

I agree that criminally, it's an interesting city. But looking at it as purely a city, it just doesn't have that charm of a GTA city. A GTA city has to have something iconic and characteristic, but I don't see that in Miami. That doesn't take away from the fact that Miami's criminal activity is a good basis for a GTA game, though. My dream is probably to see a European city for once. It'd be very interesting to see R* experiment with that or perhaps Asian cities

I rather somewhere else other than Europe like Mexico with the ability to go further more into South America. Theirs alot of crime opportunities and wild sh*t that goes down in Mexico that would definitely fit the GTA Theme.

 

I'm not saying sh*t doesn't go down in Europe for the record but i just feel we would get more of a variety in Mexico with the various types of smart crimes and rapid violence done their.

This may be alot of work for R* to do but perhaps Mexico,Miami, and some place in South America where crime and corruption is notorious would be a great GTA game.

 

If R* are working on San Fierro DLC i think it should be about the Yakuza mafia like how they were located there in GTA:SA who were lead by Wuzi. i really hope R* gives a fresh new main character in one of their story DLC's so playing as an asian character in the HD universe would be great and different.
