I hate the day when R* introduced bennys garage.

 

Its now a perfect and cheap excuse to release 2 or 3 body parts for 3 cars in a so called 'DLC' in a span of 3 months to make the kids happy and thats about it. Benny is the main reason why the game is rubbish and can not be rescued anymore. A new update? Lets release 3 new cars at bennys !

 

You've basically hit the nail on the head with that comment. New content is always welcome, and 2x event weekends are better than nothing, but giving us half-a-dozen cars and a few clothes and weapons is not the major update we all crave. Let's just hope that the forthcoming update has some new activities and ideas in it.

Absolutely. What's the point of adding new cars and not giving us anywhere new to store them, but instead forcing us into selling part of our cherished collection to make space?

To most people, what makes or breaks a car is the look. If it doesn't look good to them, they won't like it. Period. Doesn't matter how it drives or how functional the styling is. If it doesn't look exactly how they want it to look, it sucks.

 

And that's okay. Looks are a high priority in my book. But I understand why a car must have certain parts that don't necessarily look good.

BUT THIS ISNT HAPPENING ANYMORE.the day when bennys garage was introduced we as the community exchanged the real content of the game with minor car customization content no one gives a flying f*ck about EXCEPT the fanboys in here who appreciate rockstar anyway no matter what they Release. Well to be honest.. Yes we wanted more customization. More is better..

 

But NO ONE ASKED if we could please pay $500 000.00 + dollars just for the ability to PAY for the actual customization afterwards.

 

 

Its like hey kids.. want to upgrade your cars appearance? Well 1st you need to pay over 500k upfront before even looking at the actual stuff thats for actual sale for the car.

Let's run down some facts, shall we?

 

1. Benny's was introduced in October via the Lowriders update.

2. Since then, we've had:

- Halloween Surprise in late October, with two new limited cars (not Benny's), weapons, masks, and one of the better Adversary modes.

- Executives in mid-December, which was a massive blast of content, nearly rivaling the Heists update: stilt houses, yachts, VIP mode, and a large list of new and updated vehicles, none of them for Benny's.

- Festive Surprise in late December, which was typical Christmas update: snow, limited-time outfits, and a new car (Tampa). No Benny's.

- Drop Zone update, which had two Benny's cars (not lowriders).

- Be My Valentine, which mimicked the original Valentine's Massacre and added the new Roosevelt (not a Benny's car).

3. So, we've had five updates since Lowriders. One was major, game-revamping content. One was minor but long-anticipated (Halloween). Three were the kind of seasonal/holiday updates that they've done since the beginning. Only one of the five involved Benny's cars in any way, and they weren't lowriders; it was clearly a stopgap update to keep kids with short attention spans, like you, occupied and entertained.

 

And of course, it didn't work. That's the really funny part (from my perspective, probably not Rockstar's). You're still bitching, apparently because they didn't add a new map expansion January 1st and a hundred new missions January 3rd and a new heist on January 8th. Let me save you the trouble: if the game is dead to you because we "only" got five updates in five months and "only" one of them was a massive, game-changing update, then YES the game is dead and you should sell your copy and stop posting here immediately.

 

 

This. Sometimes this site is unbearable because it transforms the mic'd squeaker into the squeaker poster.

 

It is real simple...if you find yourself bitching incessantly about this game, it is

 

a. Not for you

b. Was for you, but you exhausted the entertainment value

 

In either case, find a new game and STFU. No one cares about your salty crocodile tears. No one.

there's a big difference between the guys who want the big changes to the game, and whiny little children like yourself who don't understand that what we've already gotten in the past 5 months is more than we could have asked for. learn some patience, something as big as heists and execs will come along eventually, so stop acting so entitled when you can't even teach yourself to enjoy what you've already been given.

It's basically another "next dlc thread" in disguise. They originally started off of leaks and then spiraled out into this mess.

I'm here since 2011 and still I haven't figure it how this forums sometimes works.

To all the people that complain: Stop being so God damn spoiled. You are already moaning over something that isn't even comfirmed! Lately we got 5 DLC's (big and small) for absolutly FREE. Nothing was charged for them. So again stop being spoiled brats.

If you don't like content that we are geting - sell the game and leave forum. Simple as that.

 

Mods could you lock this topic, b/c it is absolute sh*t storm?

 

They complain but still play the game non-stop. They think every update should be tailored to their specific tastes as well. Honestly, don't even waste your time with it. This theme has been touched upon a thousand times already on this forum and there is just no point arguing with the whiners. Many people wanted the low riders update, but just bitch about the cost, like they haven't had multiple opportunities to make millions upon millions with the 2x events. Others didn't want lowriders at all so they bitch about not getting what they wanted. The whole time they can go play a game that has what they want. Whatever that is, who knows. It's really best not to dwell and find people to play with who also enjoy the game for what it is.

Don't get me wrong. The Sultan RS and Banshee 900r are great. But R* RUINED IT by putting them in the wrong f*cking class. They are NOT super cars. They do NOT belong in that class.

 

Not to mention that the Banshee 900r fully upgraded was slower then the original version.. Which R* so called fixed by giving the car a weird curb boosting mechanic after people complained..

 

We should not have to tell R* basic sh*t.. This is as basic as basic can be. Half the people on this forum could do a better job when it comes to basic vehicles classes and how fast they they should be.

This guy is absolutely right, no debate on that.

 

It would be good if R* gave us some Gameplay changing things, not just cars and a stupid adversary mode. Its hard to even round up more than 3 players nowadays for an adversary mode, everybody keeps playing in freemode.

I think some of your posts are OK, but milking the sh*tposter image three months after the awards should stop

 

And I agree with you (and Hulio G) in recent posts. We're all a bit wary of Rockstar giving us no major content, but only hosts of options to pay $500,000 to $800,000 just for Benny to get his spanner out on our Sabre GTs and Tornados (or whatever Rockstar decides).

 

I am always thankful for new updates and 2x earning opportunities, but this will not a be a proper update unless... there's something else in the pipeline. Let's just see what (hopefully) Friday brings.
