If you are talking about a brand new game concept fair enough. However if you are talking about the future of GTAs then, sorry to break it to you but they contradict each other. It can't be GTA without killing and violence, also having real cars would cost a few gold coins and it would ruin the parody that is GTA which a lot of people adore.

For those previously saying GTA IV "only" got two updates. that doesn't help your case, when you realize how big those updates were.

TBOGT Had

1 new playable Characters

26 New Missions

about 20 New Vehicles

7 New Weapons (Plus the Parachute)

5+ New Activities

and a lot more features

TLAD had

1 new playable character

22 New missions

about 23 New vehicles

6 New weapons

3+ New Activities

and a lot more features

and when you combine those two you get EFLC. NOW THAT IS ONE HELL OF AN EXPANSION DLC.

Personally, I would take these two updates over Heists and E&OC and then some, every second of the week. even more so when you consider we got them just one year later after GTA IV.

And EFLC gave us the Buzzard, a vehicle that lives on to this day and has earned a place in GTA's list of beloved helicopters.

Plus there was the APC, which sadly didn't make it.

Imagine this: a GTA Online and Midnight club hybrid, all real cars, no killing or violence, but free roam abilities and the ability to leave your car. :r*::panic:

You also have to consider that those were part of paid DLC, and the content of the Free DLC after 2 years is almost as rich as the two Updates combined, except for the amount of cars added.

True, but least you didn't have to grind your soul away to afford what was in the dlc though.

You can't beat a dlc that brought us the Buzzard anyway.

I don't think the same people that made the IV vehicles are the same full team that was there before. The attention to detail is almost gone. if you look at the returning IV vehicles you will notice they are very detailed.

Maybe, but I was just telling the people that saying GTA IV only got two updates, instead of Numerous updates which GTA Online got, isn't a valid argument. IMO EFLC has more replay value.

The Savage and the Hydra top the buzzard by miles in my opinion.

Also you don't have to "grind your sole away" I play every now and then, maybe 1 hour/day during the week and 6 hours a day during the weekend and by just doing what I think is fun and going with Double Cash Events I have been able to afford most of the stuff if not all of the stuff I wanted.

And yes if people would just jump over their shadow and accept that Adversary Modes are the best modes in the game and play some of them with the double cash events they would realize that they can have FUN AND earn MONEY.

All you have to do to buy the items is play the game, realy nothing more to it.

I don't think the same people that made the IV vehicles are the same full team that was there before. The attention to detail is almost gone. if you look at the returning IV vehicles you will notice they are very detailed.

I highly disagree I think with the customization etc. Vs vehicles feel a lot more fluid to drive AND are better in overall level of detail, you also have to conside that in IV the customizations are practicly allready on the vehicles randomly.

The Hydra's not a new vehicle; San Andreas was responsible for that.

The Savage and Valkyrie are nice, but then they went and ruined them with the homing launcher/awful armour.

I can't speak for everyone, but for me there was no alternative but to grind. I wanted everything the game had to offer, and the only way that was going to happen was via grinding. Or buying a shark card, but then the dlc wouldn't exactly be free.

No. This isn't Test Drive Unlimited. That would be a bit weird imo.

That is your opinion and I have mine. everyone here is different. It is the small details that matter to me. I think all of GTA IV's vehicles have reverse lights for example, which some of GTA V's vehicles lack. Personally I think the best detailed game in V was the T20, and if you check that was probably cut content before the game released due to the brand Progen was already in the files in 2013. IIRC.

Probably the same people that made the T20 made the IV cars.

Its interesting how your experience with Online differed from mine, the only thing that was a bit too expensive for me to afford was a Yacht, which I could have afforded if I would play Heists or if I would do the criminal mastermind challenge, doing the Criminal Mastermind is something I wouldn't consider grinding btw. its a challenge after all and you just play all the Heists in order with some pressure on your back.

To be fair, I did buy a lot of pointless s**t. The Dump, buses, post vans, that kind of thing. I kind of set myself the goal of buying everything, which obviously didn't come cheap.

Yeah ok killing and guns are a must. I'm just completely in love with the idea of a gta type game with MCLA type cars. Damn R* needs some competition in this field.

Man, if you ever played it, you'd understand why I've never been happy with gta cars. They were amazing. Even the engine sounds were far superior. It actually felt like you were in a real car. I'm typically no fan of racing games. That's the only one I ever played, but I loved it. Playing GTA 5 it literally feels like we've gone backward in technology after MCLA. If you dont mind going back to ps3 graphics, and enjoy some throwback stuff now and then, I strongly suggest you run down to Game Stop and throw 10 bucks at Midnight Club LA, The Complete Edition.

My two cents about this whole weekly DLC thing. IMO it is good and bad thing at the same time. IMO releasing cars weekly one by one, will feel better than releasing all cars at the same time. It keeps players waiting, for the cars that they want, rather than getting all cars in one, that they will lose interest of players after 3 days. In other words it will (maybe) extend lifespan of DLC, before it gets bored. The problem is that they "give" us three remaining cars alredy, before they release it! This is my guess why those were blocked in SP. I have already tested all of those in SP and they all are meh (especially you, Sabre). In other words, it would look better if they wouldn't add the "new cars" in last update. As for the concept alone (one by one) I'm OK with that.

Imagine this: a GTA Online and Midnight club hybrid, all real cars, no killing or violence, but free roam abilities and the ability to leave your car. :r*::panic:

Fixed.

Why Rockstar didn't bring a classic Buccaneer instead of "lowridered muscle" Sabre Turbo? I don't get it.

Yeah, I didn't think I'd like it, either. Had a friend telling me for the longest time that I had to try it. I was like, "f*ck off it's a racing game". Then I finally watched him playing it. Watched him customizing his DUB Murcielago. Then he let me drive it, and his DUB Challenger. Told him I wasn't impressed. Secretly went to buy that damn game later that day. Wasn't long and my girl hated him for getting me started on that game. Lol

Ironically enough i e-mailed Rockstar a day ago if they'd be interested in bringing back some more IV vehicles, let's just hope that they will bring most of them back such as the Admiral and Presidente in a new Executives and other Criminals related-ish DLC.

You know that sending email, wouldn't change sh*t?

Most upvoted post on SC, regarding unbalanced cars, that would massively improve racing expirence, didn't change jack sh*t, so your email was pointless.

They will add it, whenever they feel like it.

A little off topic, but what about the Story and writing? Is it as good as in IV and V.

I wouldn't say the writing is as good as gta, it's certainly not very in depth. Just a simple story really, but not bad either. It's the cars that make that game.

Only reason I play GTA is for the cars/apartments/yachts, etc. I've gotten rid of every weapon besides three or four I use either for fun or the odd VIP mission, but since I'm satisfied with my 50 vehicles, five houses/apartments, yacht, and level the game has no appeal besides anything coming in future DLCs. I just have absolutely no reason to play other than screwing around and helping my buddy level up. GTA is still my favorite game but since my d*****-bag-in-a-hydra-killing-everyone days are over, DLC is the only thing I really look forward to.

MCLA is the best racing game ever created imo.

Coming from you, that speaks volumes. I'm sure you've played a sh*t ton of racing games.

Why Rockstar didn't bring a classic Buccaneer instead of "lowridered muscle" Sabre Turbo? I don't get it.

And Esperanto.

And Marabele.

And Willard.

And Admiral.

I am sure 90% of those Emails say that TOP speed should be at 200 mhp, without realizing that would cause pop-in, sync and performance issues.

Also people have requested cars to be moved to other classes in order to improve gameplay, R* listened to those.

Red Lynx 23

I set out to get five of these and their owners, and I did. Plus unlocking LSPD tint on the RPG with the last one!
