I like the sound of this VIP stuff, E&OC was my favorite update.

sh*t, I'd say f*ck all of the other DLCs if they brought back the Albany Presidente with the TBoGT Police Stinger facelift and performance. That would be my go to car.

I'm really starting to think this game is reaching its limits. If Rockstar was as greedy as everyone believes, don't you think they would add more desirable things in the game besides Lowriders? How come we don't see Ferraris, Lambos and other really cool things people could never afford in real life? The answer is GTA O is nearing the end and it's starting to show with everything that broke in the 1.33 update.

I meant to exclude Custom Classics when I said filler updates but I forgot to, my apologies. I actually really liked this update since it had just the right amount of content in it when it comes to normal GTA Online updates.

Both the Jan and Feb updates have been filler to me, even though I really like the Sultan RS and the Banshee. They just should have released in a different fashion.

The next two months look like filler updates too so far. :(

GTA IV was released in 2008. GTA V and Online, released in 2013. Online still has 3 Years left of it's lifetime. I doubt they are going to stop releasing DLC because you say it's "Nearing the End", because it isn't.

Nah, GTA Online doesn't have an "end". It will co-exist among future Rockstar titles.

It has been a disappointing few months for GTAO that's for sure. I'm normally the meh, free updates, it's all good, kinda guy. But when R* doesn't even attempt to lure us back even when big titles like The Division are out, then there's clearly something else happening in the office.

Then this whole release a car or two here and there with expensive mods, just to try and hard sell their sharkcards is really f*cking irritating. It's the complete opposite of what R* used to stand for. Stop trying to shove your sales pitch down my neck with mediocre game updates, and give me something great to chew on.

I really beleive it would only take a handful of R*'s staff to keep GTAO running smoothly even with these tiny updates. So i believe that they are no longer focused on GTA at all, and probably working on RDR along with the other R* Studios...

Just stop disappointing us R*, it's all i ask...

Ok, so what's the point behind the filler DLCs we been receiving?funny how people bitch and complain about the updates we are receiving pretty much on a monthly basis, when this is the fist time in the franchise we have R* actively releasing content for the game, IV only received 2 dlcs.

small update, filler update still better than no update at all on top of that its all for free, yes, the content they release is not always the best but its better than not getting an update for 3-4 months.

I would be happy with that because at least we know it would be an update with some good sh*t, like IGG and E&OC. This whole "few cars here and there" sh*t is by far a sh*tty business practice. Edited by Irish45455

people would bitch and complain any way.

In my opinion, weekly updates are the future for how to keep GTA:O free of modders, short of reworking the code somehow to actually prevent it in the first place, which if it was easy to do would likely have already been done.

By trickling out content every week, scriptkiddies have to wait for updated modmenus, which take a good few days to come out after every update. While this is a bandaid solution perhaps, it would in fact be effective. Make it inconvenient for the actual users of the mod menus to ruin the game, and it should make the script kiddy experience much rarer.

Nah, GTA Online doesn't have an "end". It will co-exist among future Rockstar titles.

The end is when the devs are not supporting the game via updates anymore, which does not automatically mean nobody plays it then. It looks like the end started last December.

Everything from January to May could have been in one update. It would still be a minor one. They are stretching out the content over 5-6 months, if this is not an obvious sign for the game going to end, what is it then? I don't see them as filler updates, this is the 2016 policy and 2015 was the peak of Online. It's just a normal process. Even bigger updates would bring nobody back to the game, and who cares, everybody will just buy the next game.

Would be nice if R* will ignore a little bit the cars and focus on seaside & country side properties (with 10+ garage). A new interior design for the beach properties & a different one for the country side. Having 1 car slot into the courtyard. They really need to get us out from the city. Is gettin' real boring seeing all the players staying in just a small part of the map. And really don't understand why the animals are not present in GTAO. Would be nice to hunt some ;) to go and knife fight a cougar ;))

Well the things that light my fire haven't been released in over a year, so I'm hungry.

I don't know. I've played the game a ton, and for me to get back on regularly I'd need:

A really substantial update (think TBOGT). Or:

Something I really, really want.

To be fair, that's not all on Rockstar - it's me that played the game to death, after all. But I just can't be bothered to even turn it on for little puff updates. And now they're being strung out, with their content locked? I'm not sure what the point of them is.

Midnight Club? The only game R* has done with good cars? Hell yes gimme some of that! If they could make that open world with being able to get out of your cars that would be amazing. I would dump this game full of retarded fake ass hybrid cars in a heartbeat for that! Are you just guessing, or has there been any actual talk of this? Don't tease me man. Lol

They string it out to keep you interested. To keep you playing because they are not releasing any new DLC for a few weeks so to stop you getting bored and to buy them some time they drip feed us until the next DLC is ready.

Well, in my case at least, mission failed.

I'm sure there'll be a few people who are interested enough in low riders that these updates bring them back on, but there are people with different tastes who haven't been catered to in a long time.

It is what it is I guess. I'll just keep waiting until there's something big, or at least something that has what I'm after.

Welp, if the next update breaks things as badly as this one did, then they'll HAVE to start making much smaller updates or stop altogether. Just look up the game breaking bugs that followed LRCC..

If R* dev team are doing more VIP missions, probably they will release that update between May-June, with 4-8 vehicles, 2 of them probably are the Albany Presidente and Schyster PMP 600 (Benefactor Stretch-E and golden Buzzard from TBoGT will fit great on this update too)

If we get another small update like January2016 Update, i hope they release on April with 1 more property slot

I hope you are right. I want the presidente and the pmp600

I get the feeling future updates are going to be as stale as the previous ones have been.

The last time I got really hyped for an update was Lowriders 1, but now it's just dull stuff.

If you are talking about a brand new game concept fair enough. However if you are talking about the future of GTAs then, sorry to break it to you but they contradict each other. It can't be GTA without killing and violence, also having real cars would cost a few gold coins and it would ruin the parody that is GTA which a lot of people adore.

For those previously saying GTA IV "only" got two updates. that doesn't help your case, when you realize how big those updates were.

TBOGT Had

1 new playable Characters

26 New Missions

about 20 New Vehicles

7 New Weapons (Plus the Parachute)

5+ New Activities

and a lot more features

TLAD had

1 new playable character

22 New missions

about 23 New vehicles

6 New weapons

3+ New Activities

and a lot more features

and when you combine those two you get EFLC. NOW THAT IS ONE HELL OF AN EXPANSION DLC.

Personally, I would take these two updates over Heists and E&OC and then some, every second of the week. even more so when you consider we got them just one year later after GTA IV.
