Has identical mods to the regular one. Just adds Hydraulics, liveries, trunk speakers/hydraulic pumps, and the standard lowrider interior mods.

 

Just not for me I guess, was hoping for more Slamvan style mods for at least the Tornado.

You maybe. I love the inferno livery and either the fallen angel or girls livery for the tornado. I don't own a tornado at the moment. Still on the fence about the van.

You can also spawn them in using a mod menu Vehicle Spawner -> Input Model -> SABREGT2 etc, will spawn it in for ya.

I agree with you, they should just release mod tools to convert existing vehicles into customized vehicles at Benny's customs and let the modders do the job for them and work on actual updates.

Legally, creatively, and fiscally that is not possible. Rockstar would have to pay each modder for their work on the vehicles, license the rights to their designs thru either outright purchasing the intellectual property or pay royalties to them and only allow the designs in game for a contracted amount of time. It would be a legal nightmare and contracts with all involved, the world doesn't work that way.

Well, if Skyrim and Fallout modders can mod in NFL clothing, then why can't GTA modders mod in Lowriders? It's not official licensed stuff, it's a mod. That's like saying you can't mod in characters, weapons, cars, because it runs on the same engine.

i hope that whatever cars they pick for the next benny's update, there are more sedans/4 doors in the mix, only 3 out of the what, 14 benny's cars (thats counting the unreleased lowriders 3 cars)

You know how the Banshee and the Sultan got added into Benny's? Well I want to see the Lampadati Furore GT and the Ocelot F620 added to it as well for the sports cars category. I feel like they could have lots of potential for customization options.

i think that lowriders will end very fast, we are only getting tornado next the minivan and the sabre look nothing like a lowrider at all

There are some games on Steam that sell community made skins on Steam workshop. I think it just works by letting the skin creator get a cut of the sales for that skin. GTA Online of course doesn't sell stuff like that directly for real money so it couldn't work the same way, but I don't see why they couldn't find some other way to pull it off without legal trouble if others are already doing it.

 

With that said I still don't think this kind of thing will be a reality, at least not any time soon. But it would be dope.

I know this is random in the middle of the topic... but why not make a petition on this site about lets say cars. So we all vote on the cars we want added to another dlc. Then we take said cars list that we voted for here and send it in to rockstar. Its probably been mentioned before but still worth a try. If we had enough people voting im sure rockstar would take notice. Im surprised by the lack of tuner cars to customize at bennys since so many people really liked it. Or the trickle of cars from gta IV.Anyways just an idea from someone who doesnt post on here often.

If only things were that easy my friend. That isn't how it works with R* you see. It may work for Ghost games (NFS 2015). We have very little control over what happens in the near future regarding GTA Online content. Even if we are able to tell them what we want directly, we probably won't see our suggestions come until after a long while. Rockstar work in advance, then store the content for later use. Regarding IV cars, I think we will see a lot more GTA IV cars in smaller updates as they require little effort.

Don't get me wrong, R* do listen to their player base just don't expect a sharp response since I'm sure they have some ideas of their own.

Maybe a Find the Leprechaun adversary mode and i see that Benny's website is updated (only the picture collage of stock cars on the home page) but the next trio of lowriders are yet to be purchasable.

 

For a minute, I thought they were released because I saw a message at the top left saying new vehicles are available from Benny's despite me having the Slamvan and Virgo already.
