Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 1)

Just watched the video that someone posted on the last page about Broughy's response to the new slamvan upgrade. I tried looking for his videos on the original slamvan and found 1 but it wasnt one of those countdown ones. Anyways, he was still racing it and couldn't handle the Slamvan at all. He had absolutely no idea when to brake, when to turn nor the ability to operate the car correctly. I expected that much from this guy.

Another thing I am sure I report every update but i am certain this time, the horn on the Franken Stange has definitely been increased in volume now, so it is much more noticeable.

I'm suprisingly happy with this update although I thought I'd hate it and did call it a lazy update but I love the clothes and the slamvan especially with the blue flames Virgo classic and faction donk are actually okay apart from the livery options for the donk...the new clothes are perfect looking forward to the release of the other 3 vehicles now and to see what extras come with that

True to my word, I killed someone who pulled up in a Donk to show it off, and blew up the abomination of a car as well. That's one, and I decided my main character will kill at least four more Donk drivers and destroy their cars too. As the real life classification of a serial killer is five or more victims. And I'll add that GTA Online doesn't turn people into killers, bad updates turn GTA Online characters into even bigger killers!

How pathetic.

My favorite part of this DLC are the guns.The shotgun is badass,and the short AK has a good firepower and a great sound,but the thing I like the most about them is how both can be used from a motorcycle.

The top 3 only things that I enjoyed from this update were the weapons(mainly the double barreled shotgun), Franklin's singleplayer work jackets and the Custom Slamvan. I can't wait for the other cars to come, especially the custom Sabre Turbo, and I see that people complain about the lack of the 6th property slot, myself I own 3 apartments with 10 car garages, one with 6 and a garage with 2 and I'm not complaining. But hey, vehicle collectors.

5 garages here. Completely full, but as I wanted a farm, sadly I had to get rid of a few cars. But that's why I started up my second character. I do miss my 6 car garages. To me their look and feel is alot nicer than the white hospital look of the 10 car garages. Way too sterile for my taste. But it is what it is...

I think not,only bikes,when I entered a car holding an AK,it switched to Uzi.I haven't tried the shotgun,but I think it's the same.

Just curious - anyone done any more digging in the files, and found anything relating to stuff other than the cars?

Would be great if the other three cars came with a similar assortment of new clothes/hairstyles - granted, they'll probably be more themed stuff like cornrows, but still...

It's not about whether someone likes the content, for me it's the very clear model that Rockstar has adopted:

 

Release update, lock half of it, add aversary mode.

 

Two-three weeks later unlock the other half, add adversary mode.

 

It's not the content, it's the process. People are complaining because it's not what they're looking for as an incentive to keep playing. Once you mod your cars and buy your clothes we're back to square one. Not sure why there are people that are so happy about that. If some of you are easily entertained by such a small effort, good for you, but getting angry with people's disappointment and telling the to grow up, it's just silly.

 

Personally, my time online has begun to diminish. I love GTA and would really like a reason to continue to be involved. This recent update doesn't do that. As a matter of fact, I just used the money I was saving for this update to buy one of the remaining Pegasus vehicles I didn't own...I've been cruising around in that.

 

If you're in favor of more content like this, good news, the other half is still locked away for you to enjoy later. If you're looking for a little variety (maybe survivals, contact missions, better match making, the return of old freemode events) you may as well accept those are not on the agenda and either learn to like Adversary Modes or find something else to play.

 

If you want a real treat, go read the comments on the news wire or their Facebook announcement. This update is resoundingly disliked...

 

And this is what the complainers don't understand. There has been enough of a pattern now that you should understand that this IS what GTA is. If you don't like, then this game isn't for you, go play something else. People generally don't like to listen to others just bitch endlessly, and for those of us that come here for good information, it is tiresome flipping through pages littered with this (as you inevitably read some of the comment to realize, yep, another squealer). A specific thread was set up for you guys, why can't you confine you complaints to that thread? And besides, if this model is making Rock Star money, and millions continue to play the game, do you really think, assuming they even see these comments, it is going to effect a change?

Any info on the Sabre or Minivan as well? I'm sure the van has sliding doors as per the prior model leak and it may be hard to tell but through the screenshot you posted with the cars we're waiting for not too long ago.

Just go with your gut feeling. I think it is great, I love the sound it makes too. However that Sabre GT looks good too, only buy the stock Virgo Classic if necessary

I like it because it's my kind of car but I can't say I love it. It just feels and looks a bit too small for what should be a big car. I'm more excited about getting my Sabre into Benny's than I am about today's offerings. Can't wait. Edited March 16, 2016 by theEwing1979

I said the same thing months ago. That is one of the communities biggest mistakes. Thinking that they can affect change.
