Not sure if anyone has said before but they fixed the 'Aooga' horn on the Valor, it now plays the whole horn like the Roosevelt.

It's not about whether someone likes the content, for me it's the very clear model that Rockstar has adopted:

Release update, lock half of it, add aversary mode.

Two-three weeks later unlock the other half, add adversary mode.

It's not the content, it's the process. People are complaining because it's not what they're looking for as an incentive to keep playing. Once you mod your cars and buy your clothes we're back to square one. Not sure why there are people that are so happy about that. If some of you are easily entertained by such a small effort, good for you, but getting angry with people's disappointment and telling the to grow up, it's just silly.

Personally, my time online has begun to diminish. I love GTA and would really like a reason to continue to be involved. This recent update doesn't do that. As a matter of fact, I just used the money I was saving for this update to buy one of the remaining Pegasus vehicles I didn't own...I've been cruising around in that.

If you're in favor of more content like this, good news, the other half is still locked away for you to enjoy later. If you're looking for a little variety (maybe survivals, contact missions, better match making, the return of old freemode events) you may as well accept those are not on the agenda and either learn to like Adversary Modes or find something else to play.

If you want a real treat, go read the comments on the news wire or their Facebook announcement. This update is resoundingly disliked...

Oh man, that Sabre... Now that is my kind of thing...And that familycar (which I also drive IRL LOL) looks great as well... Nice livery... Somehow I can't sell that kind of wrapping for our IRL car to the wife... :-)... I'll resort to using it online in GTA 5...

On a sidenote: For some reason I don't like to see your posts, Zanth... I get overly jealous while seeing them... ;-)... Awesome car that Duke... And what a nice handling.. Awesome...

My interest in the GTAO updates droppet to zero a few months back. Nothing that interesting in this one eathier, some f*cking expencive cars I wouldn't use for longer than a week. Unless they'll release a serious DLC, my copy keeps collecting that dust.

Most people agree that this update isn't enough, but we're not silly enough to believe that this is all Rockstar has up its sleeve, and I'm not talking about next week or the week after that when they release the second part of this update either.

Things have changed over the last couple of years. I remember weekends after weekends with absolutely no new content whatsoever, but now Rockstar makes a valiant attempt to give us some sort of content on a regular basis, which is good, but also leads to much speculation, too much hype and, ultimately, big disappointment.

TBH, I get frustrated wondering what Rockstar's really got planned for us, and these semi-filler updates don't appease me enough.

We need a 6th property so we can complain after the next DLC when we don't get a 7th.

I hear ya! Guilty as charged. What I'm learning is that people have different reasons for those additional garages.

...kind of like Dr. Bunsen Honeydew's automatic wastebasket:

I think they're taken from the current files and modded to be accessible already. Maybe the second part of today's DLC, coming up.... Sssssoooooon? I think? Maybe? I'm not sure, but seems like it!

As far as I'm concerned, we should all be grateful that R* is even still adding stuff. I didn't like most of the stuff in this update, but I'm not about to start crying about it, because hell, it's better than nothing.

Personally, I can't think of too many games that still got new content after 2 and a half years. IMO, we're lucky they haven't dropped V all together in an effort to push a sequel on us.

I'm definitely happy that R* put as much effort as they did into bug fixes this time around, though. Even if there are still some issues.

Probably the biggest reason they won't do that is because of the sheer development and debug time it takes just to create a playable map and content the size of GTA V.

How long can we/R* go before the code itself starts screaming for a rewrite or new game altogether? That's the million dollar question...

And I can totally understand that reasoning. Logically speaking, it would be pretty dumb of R* not to take every opportunity they can to get people to spend money on cash cards. At the same time, the powers that be could also make the call and say "Screw you guys, we got enough money from you, deal with what you have till the next game, thanks for all the money".

I'm just saying we should've glad that we're not dealing with the latter.

I read somewhere that the R* or Take 2 boss said there will be a big announcement at E3 which is in June.

I wouldn't expect anything big until then.

In the meantime, I'd rather have updates like this than nothing at all.

i don't know many people that could fill 5 properties, i just half completed my fourth

I can fill 10. Quite glad I already got the Tornado and Sabre, they gonna get slammed. The Minivan looks surprisingly sick, but I won't buy it.

Ps4, no chopper tail problem. No armor or change outfit while vip in contact missions, but snacks worked. Vip off and could access armor again

Edit- for chopper tail I know the way without following, maybe my driving there caused it to spawn. I did check rearview once and didnt see it but it did show up while I was killing

True to my word, I killed someone who pulled up in a Donk to show it off, and blew up the abomination of a car as well. That's one, and I decided my main character will kill at least four more Donk drivers and destroy their cars too. As the real life classification of a serial killer is five or more victims. And I'll add that GTA Online doesn't turn people into killers, bad updates turn GTA Online characters into even bigger killers!

How pathetic.

Just checked and I could still equip armor from my personal inventory in missions and survivals.. Could use snacks while tugged against a wall... Nothing apparently changed over here... Don't know where this came from, but over here (PC) it's still the same (as far as I could check).

I'm on xbox one. I just checked and I also can use snacks/armour in missions.

Were any of you VIPs when you did the missions?

Stuff.

It's very easy to condemn everyone for being immature for not receiving an amazing DLC.

Why shouldn't we regular and very keen GTA online players be disappointed?

What else have we been grinding hundreds of hours on 2x whatever for? Or spending hundreds of dollars on shark cards?

What else do you guys do in the evening/afternoon/weekends? I play GTA online, mostly, and when there aren't enough people I like online, or when there is nothing particularly good to do, I get bored, just as I felt disappointed when this update dropped. It's not a proper update, but more of the same tweaking with already existing concepts - adding new upgrades to cars, weapons, clothes - the usual sort of stuff. That doesn't mean that everyone reading this post isn't out there testing and playing with all these new tweaks to their hearts' content, but just that we've got very high expectations for our very favourite game.

Come on, Rockstar. We've pretty much thrashed out every possible angle of GTA online now, and need more stuff to do and places to visit, even opening up interiors would be great, plus a sixth garage for all the new car variants you're adding.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the frustration since it's been over 2 years. The Heists were the last major mission update, with the Executives update bringing more into freemode.

But it's just the way people convey themselves, they're doing it the wrong way. It's akin to a child throwing a tantrum over the wrong gift. Gets nobody anywhere. People who were following the hype knew what was coming in this update yet expected the game to change in a significant way? Even if they didn't follow a forum somewhere regarding the update, they had to DL the update files. They were prompted by it while it loaded, if they were around for the first Lowriders Update, they knew what to expect.

All I'm saying is people should be reasonable and realistic with their expectations. sh*t happens. God knows when that fabled massive update for missions and/or more heists is coming. I'd love to see it as much as the next person. It's out of our hands.

Rockstar have more to consider than the words of ONE gaming forum (albeit this one IS centered around GTA).

Who was it that said they had the turbo hood option on the faction? I can't find it at LSC or benny's and I just bought a brand new Faction.

^ that was me. It's a little bulge with writing on the side? I'll recheck in a bit. This was presumably after the Donk conversion though.

Yes you can get it after the lowrider conversion as well. It's supposed to be there on the stock faction (appears in races) but due to a body 0 glitch the car seems to always come with the flat hood. Then when the hood breaks off, the bulge appears. Lame

I think they f*cked up VIP then. If you're VIP, no body armour in missions for you.

Just watched the video that someone posted on the last page about Broughy's response to the new slamvan upgrade. I tried looking for his videos on the original slamvan and found 1 but it wasnt one of those countdown ones. Anyways, he was still racing it and couldn't handle the Slamvan at all. He had absolutely no idea when to brake, when to turn nor the ability to operate the car correctly. I expected that much from this guy.

Rockstar have more to consider than the words of ONE gaming forum (albeit this one IS centered around GTA).

I watched some kids on Twitch while i was downloading the update (restmode is awesome, works great). They were disappointed. Usually the 12-14 year olds are not disappointed when a DLC comes out. But to be honest, that's a good thing. A few years from now, GTAO will be a great game again, since everyone who has no real love for it will be gone.

What really bothers me is that we can't get the new liveries on non-donk Factions, can we? I'd prefer a Pisswasser Faction, hell yeah, i would make an entire Pisswasser garage if i could, but a Sprunk Faction is pretty cool too. These wheels though, never.

After reading this thread, most of the complaints are basically something like this:

"Wah wah wah, this update doesn't apply to me, so it sucks! Get your sh*t together C*! We want more of the same Army/Biker sh*t that only a few people will like!"

instead of this:

"Well, I don't like anything on this update, cars look like sh*t, but I'm happy that this has brought life to GTA Online!"

Honestly, I didn't like the Donk Faction when I first saw it, but it doesn't look that bad now. I still have a lot of stuff to buy and test since the Donk was the only thing I got time to test.

Be grateful of what you're getting. You could easily be charged money for the simple fact of having the update, but instead you have the OPTION to buy a Shark Card or grind a few missions to get that stuff. Fortunately I got a few modded millions back on Xbox 360 and I'm basically settled up for a few updates. You've had 2x on contact missions, 2x on Versus missions and even 2x on VIP jobs. If you didn't/couldn't take it, tough luck.

Nobody ever asked them but they still gave us the 102312893192731237981237 adversary mode, seems like this bullsh*t is cheaper than making simple missions with a little background story

Are you done complaining for today? Jesus f*cking Christ, I know people don't like wannabe mods but if you're going to bitch about this update every two pages, there's a little thread you could use.

Hahahah I've never seen someone able to speak so clearly with R*s D's in both ends of their anatomy.. Relax on the Ass kissing, and why do you waste your energy responding to kids yes kids.. complaining about a *free DLC* (shouldn't expect too much when it's free, regardless of the game's time frame) that clearly is a complete joke in comparison to the previous years content added. I completely agree they could have really taken 5 more minutes to think what and how would really improve the cool sh*t we've already thrown in here. this doesn't mean they have to, but if they truly were looking at the game play, the loyal players desires, and not what will induce shark card sales.. There would probably be a 85% decrease in threads such as these, where kids will still speculate, but they would be satisfied at the end of the day. I love how all these kids respond to others bitching, and say if you don't like it, don't get it. Well if you don't care to hear about these stupid kids make dumb comments, or bitch about stuff. Then happily scroll just a little farther down to those bringing value to the thread, rather looking like you waste your life on a partially relevant thread in the world wide web..
