That's one, and I decided my main character will kill at least four more Donk drivers and destroy their cars too. As the real life classification of a serial killer is five or more victims. And I'll add that GTA Online doesn't turn people into killers, bad updates turn GTA Online characters into even bigger killers!

Edit - I've not started it yet. I'm just VIP in free roam and it says "armour is unavailable during this job "

 

Hmm; if it's not a bug, might it be an attempt to forcibly "motivate" VIPs to buy/replenish armor from the VIP's SecuroServ "Abilities" menu (which just so happens to cost $1,500 each) instead of regular armor, which only costs $500 or $600?

Very cheap update for me... I grinded the hell out of things for the last three weeks. I don't like none of the cars.. Obviously the Donk... Slamvan looks ok, but I won't buy it, as I'll never drive it... And this Virgo to me looks like a faktion... Not my cup of tea this DLC...

 

I only bought the shotgun and AK... And I did a spending spree on cars for my second Character: Benefactor Surano, Pegassi Zentorno and I updated at LSC the Sabre I had ready for this update, hehe. I found another Benefactor Schwartzer and tricked that out too... And lastly I bought a new property, so I can use it to store my kuruma if for the final pacific Heist...

 

I spent almost 3 mil, but I ain't getting none of the new vehicules... Not my cup of tea....

Refreshing to see someone with a good attitude. Swear all I've read today from people who aren't into the update is 'omg f*ck rockstar this game sucks I'm never playing again' just because the update doesn't suit their tastes. Kudos to you.

 

Yep, eventhough I'm not into these cars, perhaps others like them, so good for them... For those not buying these items, this update also brings other improvements to the table, so that's a good thing as well... perhaps the modding is taken care of again (for a few months hopefully)... And as I come to understand, there is a speed improvement for switching sessions...

 

Any update keeps GTA fresh, so that's always a good thing...Love the game...

 

A lot of you could take notes from this guy. This is the proper way to show your disliking for something without coming across as a whiny baby.

The new female shoes makes the characters feet look tiny, I'm very happy with that.

Also it seems like the characters boobs are bigger now?

I'm probably imagining but with the new rolled sleeve tshirt they do seem bigger, not too happy about that though.

Rifle, also you can use it from bikes. cool thanks for the correction. So I'm assuming the damage is similar to the full size AKM but with bad recoil and accuracy? (Due to it being a pistol).

Once I saw the Virgo I knew I'd be getting one. On the fence over the tailights, but it's only a minor concern to me. Can't bring myself to turn it into a "Custom" though.

 

All the talk in this thread and the hype buildup is the culprit behind the disappointment of many of you. Tracking this thread today has been fun, but predictable. It was the same old:

 

- Leaks and so on being posted. People getting excited.

- Pics, files and other snippets shown by those known to meddle with the game files.

- Hype peaks just before the release.

- Stuff's released, people moan and complain it's not enough to change their gameplay and live up to the self-inflicted hype train.

 

I understand the appeal of the Faction Custom Donk (full IG name!). It's mad...yes it's going to attract the absolute worst of the tacky taste in GTAO but just look at it, is it meant to be taken seriously? Do you have to buy one? Can you ignore it? Yes.

 

As for those complaining of the money? Engage brain b4purchase.

 

While this doesn't address everyone here, you know who you are. The community is often compared to Call of Duty as it's just as toxic, congratulations to you. Reading this sub forum in particular is sometimes a test of patience.

 

However I agree these constant adversary modes are cheap. I wish there was more. Seeing as this was 'lowriders2' or 'lowriders2 part1' then not only is more on the way, but what else did you all expect?!

After reading this thread, most of the complaints are basically something like this:

 

"Wah wah wah, this update doesn't apply to me, so it sucks! Get your sh*t together C*! We want more of the same Army/Biker sh*t that only a few people will like!"

 

instead of this:

 

"Well, I don't like anything on this update, cars look like sh*t, but I'm happy that this has brought life to GTA Online!"

 

Honestly, I didn't like the Donk Faction when I first saw it, but it doesn't look that bad now. I still have a lot of stuff to buy and test since the Donk was the only thing I got time to test.

 

Be grateful of what you're getting. You could easily be charged money for the simple fact of having the update, but instead you have the OPTION to buy a Shark Card or grind a few missions to get that stuff. Fortunately I got a few modded millions back on Xbox 360 and I'm basically settled up for a few updates. You've had 2x on contact missions, 2x on Versus missions and even 2x on VIP jobs. If you didn't/couldn't take it, tough luck.

So what's the verdict on using snacks/armour in missions? Can we use them? I'm seeing conflicting posts about this.

I couldn't use armour in freeroam if I was wearing a VIP outfit but could in my own.

 

I couldn't use armour at all in contact missions.

 

Snacks were unaffected as far as I could tell but it's possible I didn't try in cover.

 

Edit; still need to hear about heists, both with and without player saved outfits.

It's very easy to condemn everyone for being immature for not receiving an amazing DLC.

 

Why shouldn't we regular and very keen GTA online players be disappointed?

What else have we been grinding hundreds of hours on 2x whatever for? Or spending hundreds of dollars on shark cards?

 

What else do you guys do in the evening/afternoon/weekends? I play GTA online, mostly, and when there aren't enough people I like online, or when there is nothing particularly good to do, I get bored, just as I felt disappointed when this update dropped. It's not a proper update, but more of the same tweaking with already existing concepts - adding new upgrades to cars, weapons, clothes - the usual sort of stuff. That doesn't mean that everyone reading this post isn't out there testing and playing with all these new tweaks to their hearts' content, but just that we've got very high expectations for our very favourite game.

 

Come on, Rockstar. We've pretty much thrashed out every possible angle of GTA online now, and need more stuff to do and places to visit, even opening up interiors would be great, plus a sixth garage for all the new car variants you're adding.
