Normally Thursdays for update announcements - quite possibly with a trailer as well (all the updates since last-gen got left behind have had trailers for them along with the Newswire announcement - Freemode Events, Lowriders and Executives).

The update might be coming today or the next week with a newswire article before the release. If it would come out today without a newswire, they might have planned for some event via tunables. However, this theory is based on the three latest updates, so who knows.

Unlikely since there's a double payout discount thing going on. And not to mention we'd hear about it by now.

I hope that we will get an official announcement today or latest on Thursday.

Something like 50% low riders and 50% hot rods would be nice. Or depending on the tuning options you can choose both styles for each car. For example you can choose a low rider style for the slam van or a hot rod style.

I'm pretty much over this Benny hype and all. It's a sad week for all us Pfister, Ubermacht and Schyster fans. Again we are left out. Again Rockstar refuses to give us cars that will have an impact on GTA Online.

 

Instead we are left with some gangsta hip/hop makeblieve era type cars. Come on.

I'm happy for those that like lowriders, but not that many do, and to have a 2nd update that focuses on it is very disappointing.

yeah lowriders is definitely a waste. with need 4 speed i thought they'd be doing more cars like the last 2 or some sort of super car upgrade. Pretty much anything but that hip hop crap. Happy I didn't farm because if that cryptic nonsense is true then it's a huge letdown.

I seriously doubt these cars will be in the "Lowriders" genre. All the cars mentioned dont really fit the lowrider theme. Except for the Virgo.

There are cars that fit the "lowrider" theme A LOT better, e.g. Manana, Stanier, Emperor and the Peyote!!!
