Thehunteroftruth Posted June 26, 2016 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Hello guys, I would need some clarifications regarding the transfer, there are some questions which I would really like to have an answer for. First of all is the SC account the only thing you need to have to transfer the character or is it required some psn info too? Can you get the returning player things in sp without the need to transfer your online character? Are you able to import the account where the online character is without finalizing your appearance changes but choosing instead to create a new character in the empty slot? Does the outfit your character is wearing the only saved outfit that gets transferred? Sorry for the many questions guys, I hope someone can help me. Only thing required to transfer is that an PSN or Xbox Gamertag that played last gen is tied to the Social Club account. You do not need to transfer a character to obtain the returning player bonus, only finish the tutorial and first mission in single player with the account. If you already transfered, you can just go on last gen and do that and you get Dodo, Kraken, ECT. The transfer completely overwrites your current characters I believe. So if you have 2 characters on current gen and 1 on last gen, both characters will be deleted and you will only have the 1 from last gen. You can change your appearance when transferring and again when hitting level 6. The outfit your character is wearing is the only outfit that will survive, as long as you dont change the outfit when changing appearance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So if you have 2 characters on current gen and 1 on last gen, both characters will be deleted and you will only have the 1 from last gen. You can change your appearance when transferring and again when hitting level 6. Everything above BondageKitty mentioned besides this is correct. When transferring to PC you will get the exact same characters as before, levels, appearance(although you get an option to edit appearance the first time you play if you want to fix it up), cash, vehicles, everything. Characters on previous consoles will remain but they will not receive ranks or carry over new assets and vice versa. For example; if you are transferring a level 10 account and rank up to level 15, but then go back to console, your console character will still be level 10. I would like to test the character creator and check the results while in game without losing the chance to modify my current character. What's the best way to do that?
