Original composer has tracks found in cutscenes in HQ on his website

Just stumbled across this. I had no idea Michael Hunter had contributed to GTA SA as well. Not sure how recent this is, but he has those secondary tracks found in the cutscenes plus the SA/IV theme in VERY high quality and normal volume, without vocals.

From what I can instantly recognise, those backing beats are from the Grove scenes in The Introduction (Backing Beat 2 is used in the actual game in some scenes as well IIRC), Car Jack Scene is also from The Introduction (this scene in specific) and Mafia Boss is

 

Now the biggest mystery still remains; where and when will we find the full version of the C.R.A.S.H. Theme?

Isn't the C.R.A.S.H theme just the same few seconds looped over and over again?

Not quite, while it does loop after a while, I assume the composer might have done more than just the small fraction used in the game, like most songs used in the cutscenes of SA.

It's actually quite easy to take the raw MP3 files from the site, and surprisingly, they're all in 320kbps. Probably the highest quality versions of the files you'll find anywhere

Wow, Grove Street theme in HQ, same thing with the Leone/Sindacco meeting!

I never heard backing beat 1 before, pretty interesting song, fits nicely with the overall theme of the game, could see it being played during the cutscene where Madd Dogg gets his rhymes back from Jeffrey.

 

Too bad they're not full length, still awesome find!

Download-them-all extension for the lazy.

 

Keep in mind not all the songs are the full versions. The SA and IV themes fade out part way through the tracks.

'Tis old news to me tbh with you lol. I've known about him doing the GTA SA theme before from his MySpace page when he had samples of his compositions on the music player, namely the GTA IV theme, the Magician's Box, and of course the SA theme.

I knew too, I had his MySpace, the difference here is that they're pure extremely high quality mp3s, which they weren't before.

It's really amazing to find this website and the beats in it. Too bad he can't release the C.R.A.S.H Theme yet. I sent an email a while ago and was told that no other beats were to be put on the site for now.

We really need a full "Backin Beat 2" (AKA Grove Street theme) and we need Home Invasion & C.R.A.S.H Theme. Maybe the song that plays in Reuniting the families and Cut Throat business. Also Madd dogg's rap on Vertical bird.
