sudon't
Hi! I'm interested in so-called modded controllers for GTA, (PS4), and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them, and could make a recommendation? I don't really know much about them, but I came across some while looking for a better controller - one that might be better for racing, (but still good for shooting). Most modded controllers seem to be made for shooters, though. I'm not really interested in wheel/pedal rigs, which are probably best for racing. The one aspect I found interesting are paddles, which are assignable to whatever button/function you'd like. That seems like it would be handy. I started looking at Evil Controllers, which are somewhat reasonably priced, but as far as I could tell, they're not compatible with GTA. Is that true? What's a good modded controller for GTA? Why? Thanks!

RogerWho
I don't know what you're looking for exactly, but one day I'm gonna buy the Titan One. It's compatible with all the consoles and allows all kind of programmability. It seems to be a better purchase than a single controller, unless you're looking for a different layout or ergonomics. EDSTEROK
The most popular would be Scuff. They hold the patent for paddles, licensing them to Microsoft for their Elite controller. I don't know how useful they would be for racing. I guess it would easier to hit the e-brake with paddles. You may want to check out Kontrol Freeks as well if you haven't heard of them. They attach to your sticks for better control. Usually for shooters, but they do have one for driving games. Hope that helps! sudon't

IIRC, they don't list GTA as a compatible game, which is why I came here. I realize they are intended for shooting, but I guess I'm looking for one that at least won't harm racing, (i.e., short trigger pull). After all, I do a lot of shooting, too. I haven't seen Control Freaks intended for racing yet. Will look at that.
