One of the most childish elimination games I've seen, but then again it's an ELIMINATION game, not a popularity game.

 

The people - who I have nothing against personally - who decided to take on EMP with CONVOY fought a losing battle. The two best heist setup missions have been effectively wiped out instead fighting it out at the end. I wish you guys would leave your personal feelings at home! We'll now see some ordinary mission like 'Weed' winning the game. Drive to the sawmill, collect the Benson trucks and drive them back home. Well done... and what a ridiculous game.

 

Forget my vote, I'm just observing childish human behaviour.

This is too true. People who wanted convoy to win are PROBABLY just down-voting emp just because theirs didn't win. Honestly all the remaining setups look fair except for weed, and insurgents is meh. Edited July 26, 2016 by X15

Your post is more childish than this game has been. Just because you think EMP is the best setup doesn't mean everyone is going to like it there are plenty of people like me that don't like it. EMP is nothing special there is a Jet vs Jet LTS that is more fun than shooting down a couple of npc jets. Whatever wins even EMP will deserve to win because people like it enough to keep upvoting it.

EMP: Get to the Aircraft Carrier, collect the Hydra and bring it back home.

Convoy: Drive to the convoy, collect the Barracks and bring it back home.

Insurgent: Drive to the Quarry, collect the Insurgents and bring them back home.

 

If you were to take any setup and sum it up like you are, they will all sound boring.

Not one vote has been cast be me in favour, or against, either mission over the last three days. I've only been an observer. If I had cast my votes in favour of EMP then Convoy would have been eliminated even quicker. Basically, I like Convoy very much.

 

Instead of the game going to the wire it's fallen flat. That, unfortunately, is the flaw of elimination games. Convoy has eliminated itself by ganging up and attacking another player favourite. Live and learn and go under the radar next time like 'Weed'.

This game did go to the dogs to an extent but there have been plenty of good ones with friendly debates and a worthy winner.

 

I'm don't think this game has been a disaster on a scale that means we should stop doing them. It's been petty and childish and that's a shame but I've seen worse. My concern is how many potential games there are left that are worth doing.

Yes that's what I'd like to do too, there have been loads of new additions to the game across all classes since we last ran the car games. If memory serves the Zentorno hadn't been out long when the Super game took place.
