Monkeys in cage during deliver emp

Don't know if any of you noticed, but during the deliver emp setup mission there is a cage with 2 monkeys guarded by 2 scientists. Can they be killed? And why Rockstar didn't add animals in multiplayer since as demonstrated in this mission can be implemented and why there aren't monkeys in sp in general?

Animals have been discussed 9999999999999 times. That is just "one" mission with 4 players, not 30.

Nah in the year and a bit that heists have been out no one has noticed there are monkeys in the deliver EMP set up apart from you, you are the smartest man alive
