Couple questions about upgrading CEO vehicles

Ok, so you know how you can go into a warehouse, go to the tool chest, and upgrade certain vehicles? The Brickade, Cuban 800, and Tug. If I remember correctly, they all have upgradeable armor, and each has something else that can be upgraded as well.

 

Well I have some questions about that.

 

1. Do these upgrades apply only to the vehicles you get through doing CEO missions, or to their Pegasus counterparts as well? For example, if I upgrade a Brickade, will the one I get if I call Pegasus be upgraded, or only the one I get through the Securoserve menu?

 

2. If I upgrade a Brickade, and one is provided to me without me calling for itfor example, during a sell missionwill that one be upgraded? If it's a sell mission with TWO Brickades, will they both be upgraded?

no , the upgrades only for delivery vehicles

these upgrades make them comparable to insurgent in term of durability , makes brickade's tires Bulletproof , extend the jammer capability and increase the speed of a tug

1. It breaks my heart to tell you (sincerely) but no. The Pegasus versions don't get the upgrades. Neither do the versions you call up through Securoserv.

 

Only the vehicles that are given to you for cargo sales are upgraded.

 

2. Number one kind of answers this, but yes - the vehicles given to you for cargo sales are the only ones that get anything from the upgrades. If you're given two, they'll both be upgraded as well.

It kind of makes sense that the upgrades don't apply to the Pegasus vehicles. Pegasus is a separate entity, and consider the fact that you can get these vehicles as a CEO without having bought them for use with Pegasus.

 

But by the same token, it doesn't make sense that the Brickade I call for as a CEO doesn't have the upgrades.

Don't bother upgrading the armor on the Cuban. If you solo a Cuban mission with Buzzards, you're just delaying the inevitable with the extra armor

Same with the Titan. Armor is a waste of money.

Even though Pegasus is a separate entity, as you say, I still don't understand why it's so detatched from everything.

 

I've always believed that you should only be able to race in vehicles that you own (or at least, there should be Custom Vehicle races in a separate league to regular races). Similarly, I would never expect to be provided with a utility/transport vehicle that I haven't purchased. Otherwise it renders many Pegasus vehicles completely redundant.

 

I remember in the early days, the Buzzard was a total waste of money because every helipad spawned either a Buzzard or a Cargobob. More recently we got all the wonderful Heist vehicles, but purchasing these has absolutely no bearing on the Heist missions themselves as they are all provided for you. Though at least the Heist vehicles can have a purpose in free mode, or even other missions... However, now we have CEO vehicles for which the Pegasus versions are all utterly useless.
