I found it fun at first (novelty of a new game mode I suppose) but for me it quickly became grindy and tedious.

The key is how you approach crate collections and deliveries.

If you're buying crates at 18k and aiming for a large warehouse sale at the end of it, you'll be spending a lot of money and not seeing any return for quite a while, and that can be seriously tedious grinding after a while. But if you buy a single crate at 2k whenever you feel like doing it, you'll eventually get a 240k warehouse at a small 32k investment, and a nice 200k+ profit, which doesn't feel like grinding.

So my advice - buy a big AND a small warehouse and do two types of crate runs. Big warehouse when you're motivated for grinding, but a small warehouse when you're just looking to do an odd crate and want minimum outlay. Nice bonus at the end of that.

I think it would be more fun if we could do them in public, without having to worry about jets. But they're not going anywhere, so quiet empty sessions it has to be.

Also that back and forth thing. I hate that.

I've been mostly lone-wolfing single or double crates during my precious little free time since the update dropped. one small and one medium warehouse.

I fill the warehouses for sake of sitting on it and fending NPC assholes from raiding them.

I view them...as some kind of Adder bonds.

Also, dumb question: isn't it actually more profitable to get one crate at a time instead of 3 at one time? I mean, one crate costs me 2000 dollar, 3 cost 18000 and risk of getting blown up - wouldn't the payout in the end be more if i spend more time by filling 3 warehouses one after other, crate after crate?

True, but buying 3, you can get things done 3 times as fast.

True, but buying 3, you can get things done 3 times as fast.Somehow I don't think speed would justify the costs, especially if I have 2 warehouses that I can fill while others cool down.

Wouldn't I have to roll in 200 percentage of ROI just to cover the costs and that without ammo and services expenses, then?

Truth be told, I can't say 100% it is more profitable, I just think it is.

I suppose another thing you'd have to bear in mind is that getting 3 crates isn't necessarily 3 times faster - when you get collections where you have to grab crates (as opposed to vehicles) you have to go back and forth anyway, which would be much faster if you'd only ordered one crate.

Personally, I'm sticking by 3 for now though. I can fill a large warehouse doing 3 in about a day and a half, maybe 2 days. Getting single crates I can imagine would take a fair bit longer.

Maybe not though, it's early days and hard to say.

I've been alternating buying three for my large and then one for my small. Easier to fill up a small warehouse with single crates and it's a lot more profit :/

I think the money you earn for crates does get higher as you sell them in bulk though, so if you completely fill a large warehouse, it can fetch quite a lot.

Costs a lot too though, and is some pretty heavy grinding, especially if you're on your own.

I did the same method as you not long ago. Then I bought another large one, and now I'm alternating between them both, trying to fill them.

Over 2 days, I've got them both over 50%. I'm hoping in another 2 days, I'll have them full and sold.

It's true that a single crate collection would be much faster than a 3-crate collection but a 3-crate collection mission is considerably faster than 3 single crate collection missions.

With two exceptions, buying 3 crates at a time is always going to be the most profitable option. The exceptions are: 1.) You are trying to do collections in a session that's not friendly and the risk of the extra crates being destroyed is significant, and 2) Filling a small warehouse is most profitable doing 4 x 3 crate then 2 x 2 crate purchases rather than 5 x 3 then a single crate purchase.
