What Do You Do While GTAV/O is Loading?

Running a household full of kids, my time on the XBox is usually reserved for after 10PM.

 

So, when I sit down to play, I usually will check text messages or Facebook, or I'll load it all up and go do some household things, like flip laundry over to the dryer, put away the dry dishes from dinner, or even brush my teeth and get ready for bed.

But some of you all, especially the younger crowd, play at all times throughout the day, so you're habits may be a bit disparate.

When I was young and we turned on the old Atari 2600 or fired up the ol' Merlin handheld gaming system, you could literally be playing in seconds, as opposed to the 3-10 minutes it can take loading GTAV/O (10 minutes if you get kicked right when you load into an online session and you have to start all over again).

So once again, in my endless curiosity and weird sense of humor, what do you do while you wait for GTAV/O to load up?

I could run a marathon in the time it takes to load. But I don't; I couldn't run up to the toilet without getting tired out.

 

The toilet's a popular one, as well as going off to get a drink. I switch between here and the game quite a bit too, and I love liking stuff - to the point that some people think I'm a stalker because of my liking ways.

 

Sometimes if I have something else to do (forget to make the bed maybe, clean up, that kind of thing) I'll switch between that and the game.

Feed the cat, take the dogs outside, mute and switch the TV input to "HDMI2" (I can do the PS4 steps to start the game from muscle memory, so I don't have to actually see it), get my tablet to start playing radio to listen to while I play. It's somewhere between 4:30am-6:30am when I'm starting this.

I'd add that certainly most of us are aware that loading to story mode, then joining Online is reliably faster than loading directly to Online.

I do it the slower way to have more time to take the dogs out and so I don't have to see whichever Franklin scene (that I've seen too many times before) comes up and put more buttons and stare at the clouds for the longest 20-60 seconds there is in the game.
