Now That We're 2 Weeks In, How Much Have You Made Off Crates?

I've made about $700k off of it. I would've made more but I hate how boring and tedious it is. Crate deliveries, anyways. I'm so pissed that I blew 7 mil on this update. I really wish I would've saved my money.

May I ask why?

 

Is there any benefit in holding that much stock? Does it gain in value?

 

You could get raided, or one or two of your deliveries could go wrong. Why risk so much?

 

Curiosity if anything would happen will all 5 warehouses filled. I've yet to have any NPC Gangs attack me either.

FAFF is a big money sponge...plain and simple--but even more grabby than Ill-Gotten Gains. Designed to absorb excess GTA$ floating around.

I wouldn't have bought a CEO office if it hadn't have been for the "Gun Locker" bait R* used (very clever there, guys). Take a very simple but annoying bug that should have just been fixed years ago, and use it as a money burning "feature".

Probably under 2M actual "profit" so far (figuring in cost of crates purchased, vehicles called-in, CEO abilities, Lester services, etc.), not counting the 35M I dropped when the new update came out.... I don't intend to ever pay that back with crates, but do plan on poking away at them a little at a time until I reach maximum clutter in the office.

 

I'll solo a few while waiting for friends to come online, but if I have associates I just do VIP jobs or challenges which IMO are far more fun and lucrative for all involved. If the associate pay is ever fixed I'd possibly do more, but at this point I actually feel like a dick if I ask associates to run around town playing step n' fetchit for 50K an hour less the ammo they waste.

I spent about 4 million on warehouses and offices. Sitting on almost 9 million made from crate selling. Currnetly have 5 million in the bank after buying my first helicopter and a cheeta. Man this really allowed me to double up my cash ive earned since 2013. Best update so far by a mile. All my contact mission and heist cash cam now be funneled into my buisness. Im thinking about expanding with a 3rd warehouse (I have a medium one and a small one)

I've sold just under $1.5mil, spent about $3mil on Arcadius and two medium warehouses, plus crate buys, mostly singles and doubles.

 

Work's been crazy so I haven't had as much time for GTAO in the evenings as I'd like.

See the trick is that you gotta run this like am actual buisness. Cut cost. Buy the cheapest warehouses and grind them into profit before you expand. Do you really need the maze bank office ego aside? Dont spend cash on vip vehicles, use the free ones that spawn or buy the actual vehicle. You will save on cash down the line. Save up before you make a big purchase. Do what you wish with your money but i broke even in 3 days. Now im sitting on profit

Made 14 million from sales. Spent almost 8.4 million on the HQ and warehouses. I don't know exactly how much I spent on buying cargo but I estimate 4.5 million based on mission counts.

 

A small profit of 1 million, but at least I'm in the profit zone now. The problem is, this is just as repetitive as heists. The novelty ran out when I did all the pickup types a dozen times each. So I don't expect to profit much more.

$0 as of now. But I do have 5 large warehouses at 100%. Basically just waiting for one of them to be raided so I can experience it and then I'll sell them all..its been a week and no raid.

You either bought the cheapest warehouse, which implies that you have sold several times to achieve those 3.7M or your math is kind of shady.

 

If you made 3.7M with the cheapest most profitable setup (1M Office 1.9M Warehouse), +900k crates purchase you're roughly at -100k.

Now, if you used the cheapest less profitable setup (1M Office 400k Warehouse), then it means that your sells are cheaper due to the smaller bulk, so, even more crates, more time, probably less money.

 

Or i'm just missing something

I've Grossed 9 Mil So Far. Put down 8 mil to get started. Not sure how much I've spent on crates so far but ill be turning a profit very soon. 4 special crates plus around 120 other crates spread thru 4 warehouses. Once I fill and sell those ill be making dough.

Around 10 million, but I sort of quit it. I invested around 30 million, but this grinding for crates is pretty tiring and getting sort of boring. Whenever I do it by myself I get 3 single crates, with associates 3 packed in 1.
