My large-as-SH*T custom playlist for Non-Stop-Pop FM. Obviously this is a rather inconsistent station, but really that more or less allows me to go wild with the variety of genres. Alot of these songs (marked * cut) were also from the final game, obviously.
And yeah, I know alot of you will hate some of these (or at least pretend to), but that's kind of the point.
Armand Van Helden - 'My My My' (2004)
Armand Van Helden - 'I Want Your Soul' (2007)
Basement Jaxx - 'Red Alert' (1999)
Bobby Brown - 'Every Little Step' (1988)
Calvin Harris - 'Acceptable In The 80s' (2007)
The Chemical Brothers - 'Hey Boy Hey Girl' (1999)
Cobra Starship feat. Sabi - 'You Make Me Feel...' (2011) *
Culture Beat - 'Mr. Vain' (1993)
Daft Punk - 'One More Time' (2001)
Dead Or Alive - 'You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)' (1985)
Duran Duran - 'Hungry Like The Wolf' (1982)
Enrique Iglesias feat. Pitbull - 'I Like It' (2010) *
Eurythmics - 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)' (1983)
Fatboy Slim - 'The Rockafeller Skank' (1998)
George Michael - 'Fastlove' (1996)
Groove Armada - 'I See You Baby (Fatboy Slim Remix)' (1999)
Haddaway - 'What Is Love' (1993)
The Human League - 'Don't You Want Me' (1981)
Icona Pop feat. XCX - 'I Love It' (2012)
iiO - 'Rapture' (2005)
Jamiroquai - 'Love Foolosophy' (2001) *
Jermaine Stewart - 'We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off' (1985)
Junior Senior - 'Move Your Feet' (2002)
Junkie XL feat. Elvis Presley - 'A Little Less Conversation' (2002)
Kylie Minogue - 'I Believe In You' (2004)
Kylie Minogue - 'All the Lovers' (2010)
M&S Presents The Girl Next Door - 'Salsoul Nugget' (2001)
Madison Avenue - 'Don't Call Me Baby' (1999)
Madonna - 'Like a Prayer' (1987)
Madonna - 'Hung Up' (2005)
Matthew Wilder - 'Break My Stride' (1983)
Mark Morrison - 'Return of the Mack' (1996)
Mel & Kim - 'Respectable' (1987)
M.I.A. - 'Paper Planes' (2007)
Michael Jackson - 'Dangerous' (1991)
Nomad - '(I Wanna Give You) Devotion' (1991)
Paula Abdul - 'Opposites Attract' (1989)
Pet Shop Boys - 'Domino Dancing' (1988)
Rick Astley - 'Together Forever' (1987)
Room 5 feat. Oliver Cheatham - 'Make Luv' (2003)
Run–D.M.C. vs. Jason Nevins - 'It's Like That' (1997)
Seal - 'Future Love Paradise' (1991) *
Spiller - 'Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)' (1999)
The Superman Lovers - 'Starlight' (2002) *
Take That - 'It Only Takes a Minute' (1992)

Honestly, Domino Dancing is probably a better Pet Shop Boys choice for the game than West End Girls. That's a song that felt like it should have been on Vice City FM in Liberty City. West End Girls is a total London song to me, but I think it's also suited for any dreary inner city location. I never thought it fit well in LS and with the other more party-style songs on Non Stop Pop.

I think 'West End Girls' was chosen because they tried to link the "West End" to the game's west coast setting somehow, but it's still a loose connection. Good song, but I would have preferred 'Heart' or 'Domino Dancing' over it any day.

That's kind of what I figured, that they were trying to go for West End=West Coast. But still, when I think of "West End" I think of the West End in London, not West Coast cities in the US. If they wanted a Pet Shop Boys song that had a bigger connection to the game's content, "Opportunities" would have been a better choice, too. It's all about making money! They even featured a fan-made GTA Online music video for that song on their official website years ago. "Heart" is another good choice though.

[Los Santos Rock Radio]

Rick Springfield - Jessie's Girl

The Beach Boys - I Get Around

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

Tears For Fears - Sowing The Seeds Of Love

Duran Duran - Skin Trade

Billy Idol - Rebel Yell

David Bowie - Space Oddity

Eddie Money - Take Me Home Tonight

Michael Jackson - Beat It

[Non Stop Pop FM]

Remove all of the 80s songs and put it on it's own separate station, because I jam to West End Girls and Adult Education only to get the experience ruined by Brittany Spears, Lady Gaga, and worse of all, The Black Eye Freaking Pea's!

Also, why does it have Alternative Rock as one of it's genres? Are the people at Rockstar Games freaking idiots or what?! Alternative Rock on a POP STATION!

Sorry for bumping a old thread...

Being called a idiot...

I think we all know who's the real idiot here: compaining about R* putting alternative rock on Non-Stop-Pop FM and yet putting "Enjoy the Silence" on Los Santos Rock Radio. That song really doesn't fit the station, IMO.
