Only reason R* havent patched this creator glitch yet is because this one can't be used to make money fast like the old one that got patched (you could instantly teleport to deliver crates, finish heists, etc).

Maybe so, but it's not the same. Not by a long shot.

Sure it is. People playing the game using unfair advantages.

Fundamentally a glitch and a mod are not the same thing. You won't get banned for glitching, for example.

The end results are the same. Cheating.

It doesnt matter how it is accomplished. If they made themselves invincible, regardless of the method, they should be treated with equal, harsh, and swift punishment.

He didn't say they shouldn't be banned, he said they wouldn't be banned. Which is true. And it doesn't make your original statement, that modders have "been here all along" on the PS4 anymore correct. One (glitching) is a minor annoyance rarely encountered, the other (modding) is game-breaking, as we've seen in PS3 and PC.

It's a major difference, we're just trying to stop the spread of misinformation, that's all.

Although I do agree that both deserve equal punishment due to cheating, I prefer to see that they are in fact different. For example, in terms of killing someone, murder is not manslaughter. Edited by TeammateAssist

Can't do it online on PC anymore.

R* has a new anti cheat system that auto detects ALL the menus and trainers when going online, and now auto forces the user into a Solo Session and locks them there, even other players are prevented from joining them.

That's quite amazing and I applaud R* for putting in some form of harsh anti-cheat measure. Too bad they won't do that with last gen though. Edited by jrl51592

I run into modders all the time. The two biggest ones are the new God Mode and Auto Aim glitches. You can find out how to do them on google. Usually the steps to activate the glitches are a bit tedious so the people who actually go through all of them obviously really suck at the game. Unfortunately R* doesn't care about next gen console versions. Only PC, which has made next gen consoles a griefer's paradise. Something about "Oh the next gen versions of GTA are unhackable" R* says. Lol just look on se7ensins.com for a step by step guide on how to do it. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

You're calling glitchers modders? Wow. That's a new low lol

There used to be a teleportation glitch a week or 2 ago. Got hot-fixed though. But this definetely sounds like a glitch. I ran into a godmode guy as well and he was able to teleport, so he haunted the whole lobby. Reported him, kicked him and a few minutes later he left the lobby...

I have encountered this before, it's basically a God Mode Glitch involving Passive Mode. I remember this happening to me about a month ago, Assault Shotgun the hell out of this guy n he doesn't die. I can't aim onto him, etc, but he kills me repeatedly. It's a little bit annoying, but once you realize they're cheating, it's easier to just switch lobbies. People who can't play the game fairly are the worst.

I wish people knew the difference between glitches and modding, and also knew that PS4/Xbone don't have modders on them.

You know...I've got to ask a basic question, actually the most basic, fundamental question possible, regarding Online play. What the hell is the fun and the motivation to play PvP against randoms, against people you don't know?

Cheating and glitching aside, the joy in it is pitting your intellect and skill against another human player's intellect and skill. AI is not yet able to fill that void because at best (when programmed very, very well) it's just emulating the most easily-copied human strategies; the balance is usually filled in with what amounts to cheating (e.g. making the AI do more damage or absorb more without dying, because they play too stupidly to put up a fight otherwise). You could never have the kind of far-ranging battles against an AI that you do against a player, both using every trick you can think of, trying to get high ground, calling for various Pegasus vehicles, and all of that. And even in a hypothetical future when AI programming is much more advanced - which I believe to be probably decades away, because AI advances much more slowly than things like graphics and physics engines - it STILL won't be the same, because it won't be a battle of equals. A smart AI is still something different from a person; there's more satisfaction in wrestling a person than wrestling, I dunno, a really strong dog or something.

Anonymous PvP is popular for most of the same reasons that friendly PvP is popular. You lose the social component (which is rewarding, I agree). But you are still pitting yourself against an adversary who may equal your intelligence, your strategies, and your reflexes, and finding out who will make the one decision that enables them to win. That never gets old to me, and there is no equivalent to it in any single player or co-op game, period.

And that is why glitching and cheating are anathema to PvP purists. It takes what should be one of the most challenging and infinitely complex gaming experiences, and poisons it. Cheaters devalue PvP play by being bad at it and circumventing the entire system. We want to win a challenge; they just want to win.

Personally, I don't like regularly playing PvP matches against friends. On occasion, it's fine. But done regularly, in another gaming community, I've seen it be fairly corrosive towards relationships. Some people can do it just fine, sure, but I would prefer not to. With friends is just fine, but the way this game handles team balancing and composition, if we don't get enough players, odds are good I'd end up playing against a friend. So I prefer to do most PvP jobs against anonymous randoms.

It's the creator in MP glitch, some dude started spawning a bunch of shx in the middle of this car meet I was in today, so I decided to kill him a few times, he was wasn't to good with the teleporting, and he didn't put himself in God mode, he was trash. But yea that glitch is not patched, along with most of the wall breaches.
