Would you like to have the option to get bullet resistant windows?

I honestly would love to have bullet resistant windows on any of my Personal Vehicles since it helps when you're pinned by those hyper-accurate NPCs and against players when speeding by. But I'm not sure if Super cars should have this option, since they're usually defended pretty well from the rear.

I would like to , but rockstar probably wants to keep this as an armoured vehicle exclusive. To give incentive to use those , and so they have more apart from explosion resistance.

On the Insurgent definitely not. Supers havin' some wouldn't bother me, but these insurgent noobs tossing stickies all day long should not get any more protection than they already have.

Only if you can't shoot/throw stickies out of them. You and I both know most people would purchase them strictly to driveby/bomb other players. Imagine if the Insurgent had fully bulletproof windows.

Remember, for the Bullet Resistant windows on the new Armored cars, if you shoot out of your car, the window you are shooting from will IMMEDIATELY shatter. That means that the windows will break if you fire out the car. Same if you try to throw and explosive since your character will just elbow the sh*t out the glass, rendering the driver side unprotected.The Armored Kuruma on the other hand doesn't do this.

No, for two reasons. First off it gives all the power to the guy in the armoured car. He can shoot out but can't be shot, rendering him godlike unless someone destroys his car, in which case the person defending themselves loses money. Unfair.

 

There are already far and enough armoured/military vehicles in the game.

 

I wouldn't be adverse to being able to buy slightly tougher glass for the cars, but it would be a two way street. Once you start shooting out of it, the galss is gone and you are as vurnerable as the person outside.

And if you break the windows to shoot out/throw crap you sacrifice the BP windows until it gets repaired/respawned to you via mechanic

seeing the votes one woud almost think most people never learned to like....avoid other players

 

i agree with NPC cops being anoying as hell, but yet again i do not see how making things more powerfull to counter an overpowered something seems a good idea to any rational being

Yes.

 

They could simply make it so that you can't have both reinforced armor and bulletproof windows, you have to choose between the two. They would be interchangeable though, so you could get one if you didn't like the other.

 

The other restriction would be that in exchange for bullets not getting in they also can't get out, i.e you can't shoot through it. You wouldn't be able to elbow smash it either, it's f*cking bulletproof glass, in real life that sh*t would break your elbow or at least dislocate it.

 

It would keep the actual armored vehicles as special as they already are and allow your standard personal vehicles to have that much needed protection. Everybody wins.

a lot of vehicles should have access to armor upgrades that protect your vehicle from bullets/explosives, to keep things fair these vehicles should also not have any insurance fees

also heavy snooper and revolver + deagle should all be able to penetrate armor and still get 1 hit kills

i want a kuruma windowed, rpg eating dubsta, mesa, (insert actual off roady type SUV or jeep im not thinking of) with a mounted gun we can get at from any seat like the fire truck. thats what i want. with grips on the side you could hold triangle to clammer onto.

 

i want a riot shield that you can equip as an accessory but only use when using a handgun or smg of some sort. lock on wouldnt work either while it was equiped.

 

ACTUAL bullet proof armor for arms and legs that spark when you hit them. prevents rolling

 

a vest that may prevent spriinting but you turn into a bullet sponge. prevents rolling

 

a heavy steel bomb suit type outfit that, if hit with something big or enough times, could ragdoll you to the ground and force you to have to get back up to fight back. and if you dont...well you know.

 

again. no sprinting or rolling and bullet sponge, and being knocked on your ass by other players would be the balance.

 

passive anti missile system for civilian vehicles ( choice between that or the bulletproofing that is the point of this thread) 40mm can still get through and cannot be applied to the kuruma or insurgent.

 

active defense flares for all unarmed air vehicles and armed helicopters (with the armed helicopters having to take longer to recharge it so they wont be op)

 

anti air LAV with 4 miniguns on top that could be controlled by the driver or passenger. super high angle of attack that can go 90 degrees. (git them jets!)

 

mortar for the heavy weapon slot.

 

mk19 armed pegasis vehicle of some kind.

 

tear gas launcher.

 

FLAMETHROWER TO KILL ALL THIS ARMOR

 

and finally, with all that ridiculous protection in place. we introduce the railgun into online along side a quad rocket launcher that can fire as fast as the standard pistol. or in a super fast volly if you lock on.

 

 

cmon people, if you wanna talk armor. lets get serious.
