LincolnClay
Sharks...sharks. Gotta love em. If they don't kill you first. No but seriously, I've always had a fascination with sharks, and the ocean in general. Good thing they're everywhere in Australia...good for me anyway. I like cats and dogs too. I can't bring myself to choose one over the other. Edited July 23, 2016 by TheGamingPr025

Typhus
I've always been very fond of the Shrike for how they hunt. They're just little birds, tiny fluffy little things, but they're bloody ruthless. They'll take insects and small lizards and impale them on thorn bushes, what we call a Shrike's Larder, until the whole bush is littered with bodies which they can return to and eat at their leisure. Some will also garland the corpses with their own feathers, I believe to attract a mate. Little fluffy things, but I always like to imagine the mother Eagles using them to quiet down their noisy chicks. I adore Red Pandas, too. Graceful little things. Really stubby legs, so they kind of waddle about, but they seem to have beautiful temperaments. DarkSavageDeathlyCloud
seriously, i see those things everywhere here...and they are quite tame and curious for wild birds. and they got such tiny black eyes, and such a small tiny beak also i know that red breast is supposed to make impression, but to me it just makes the things look even more cute...makes me want to tickle it with my finger GrudgefromSanAndreas and Femme Fatale

One time I was gardening and two of the little things just sat down and started chirping at me. Very clever little birds. sreyazsec
I grew up knowing you always make a wish when you see a robin. You also always say 'good morning major' to a magpie, if you don't, you'll have bad luck.

Khephera
My favorite animals are humans. On this planet they make the most use as particularizations of the universal principle/platonic form of isolate self-consciousness. When they finally manage to utilize it in a positive/non-destructive way, maybe they could then reach for the stars. Meanwhile, some of us are pretty confident using this neter as a means to reach immortality/conscious existence after our physical death. The rest will be like all the other animals around on this earth: metabolizing around and doing some funny stuff. dingodile_r89
...a behemoth called blue whale in particular. I don't know how they're able to sustain themselves in such murky depths. It fascinates me. If you're still curious about this, the whale empties it's lungs, collapses them and stores all the oxygen in it's blood and muscle tissue. That's how they don't damage their lungs during their dives. E: To add to this, blue whales aren't the real divers. Sperm whales dive to depths of about 2000+ meters. The pressure down there is 200 times atmospheric pressure. Edited September 13, 2016 by dingodile_r89

DarkSavageDeathlyCloud
Went to SEA LIFE Blankenberge today at the coast. They had 4 of those in their local care center for stranded seals: Poor things, but looking at their clean cages and at least one delicious dead fish in every cage i think they are getting the best care they can get Also all are planned to be released back into the wild once they are strong enough : MizzSuki and sreyazsec
Michael
I don't really other favorite animals so I guess my favorite animals are just dogs because of their loyalty, and because some are just too cute. And I think it's true what they say about dogs, a dog is a man's best friend. Edited September 17, 2016 by Michael
