Primer31
I've been playing some ceo stuff. Between having to drive back and forth all of the way across town and having randoms attacking me, i fail to see how this is supposed to be fun for a ceo. At this point i'm beginning to wonder if ceo stuff was meant to be more fun for people who like to troll others. I haven't found anyone who enjoys running back and forth across the city for hours only to have their time wasted when a random decides to blow you or it up. I understand thats what bodyguards where meant for, but how does a body guard consistantly stop people with homing missles from blowing you up? Or buzzards? Jets? I spend part of the time looking for an empty lobby just to be able to do ceo stuff without being blown up every time i set foot outside. I would imagine the mode was created as a way to have fun, but then the whole lobby is alerted when you do buys and sells. If that doesn't scream troll invite, i don't know what does. You can't do heists for the same reason. Almost done with the heist? Some troll crashes a plane on purpose. I understand some people enjoy being trolls. But what about the other part of the population who just want to do their own thing without issues from random people? Isn't their enjoyment equally as important? I think we should be able to do ceo stuff in crew or private lobbies. With an income increase for those who choose to do them in public lobbies. Gothamite
Ceo stuff is great and rewarding. You just have to play it smart or find empty session. LokDog
Vexate
The CEO missions have been a real boon for me. They aren't exactly super fun but neither is repeatedly trying to run a heist if you can't get people you trust. I also got burned out on it all last year with the double heist reward weeks. I can't bring myself to even attempt anything aside from PacStandard. The real benefit is to me is that it can be done solo (in a friendly or empty lobby usually) and done piecemeal. I often don't have the time to sit and make it through a heist. The pickup missions can be done quickly though and I can easily work those things in when I have a few minutes. I'll sell when I have enough time to do the whole thing and net more money in the long run. At least there are a large variety of missions and locations and using the buzzard makes it stupid easy. By the end of the night this evening, I'll clear the $6m mark for sales and haven't had to endure angry glares from my wife in a few days! Primer31
I haven't seen any friendly lobbies. Most of the time someone is waiting with a missle to shoot me when i walk outside. You can't do buy/sell missions in private lobbies. So, i have to search for an empty lobby until i find one. My idea of fun is not getting a big shipment messed up by a random. I'm all for people being able to do what they want the way they want. But i and many others would like to have the option of not dealing with them. I like this game. But i don't play to constantly battle people with jets, heli's and rockets. I don't want to kill any players and just want to be left alone to do my thing. They could allow ceo missions to he done in invite only missions. Then give bonuses to people doing them in public lobbies. It would be a win for everyone and people would enjoy ceo stuff more. LokDog
If you find a half empty lobby, just use a buzzard for all your runs and use "Ghost Organization" once you've collected cargo... shouldn't have a problem...
Primer31
Perfect example. After a heist, i loaded in to a public lobby. Walked 4 steps and was mowed down by a random. Even in passive they find a way to kill you.
SharoFFenstein
Sometimes I just wish there was a Device destruction button on my keyboard. So you press it once, select the f*cker who keep killing you for absolutely no reason, and it gets his cpu burned down. Like a DDOS Attack....The noobs with the trainers can almost do the trick. They just spawn a hell lot of colored cargo planes next to you, so your game crashes becuase of the major fps underload.... ------------------------------------------------------Anyways, I would also suggest getting good with the buzzard. Primer31
I'm pretty good with the buzzard. I own it. Just don't feel the need to chase people down and kill them. I have no problem being able to kill other players. Just don't want to. And don't want them messing with me. I have no problem with them playing the game the way they like. But why should they be able to ruin it for others?
RockstarGamesGuy
if your on ps4 i can get you into in empty lobby instantly, i don't have amazing internet so i always am in solo sessions, we can grind together too link-thezoraband

xmx900
meh, I just like doing vip work, less risk, but still a somewhat good payout.
Cracka.Brew
Go to 1 player, go to your internet settings, do wired, and custom. Now leave everything the same, except when you get to MTU change the number to 800. It should put you into a public lobby by yourself. Even after that, these CEO missions start to get repetitive going and chasing down crates, and taking them all across the map. GhostZodick
It wasn't supposed to be fun. It was designed to make you buy shark cards. glow66, FrugalDangerMan and Tails Prower
FrugalDangerMan
It wasn't supposed to be fun. It was designed to make you buy shark cards. Normally I would object to this but having read the amount of crap people have to deal with and seeing it in Let's Play videos (I haven't played since before the update, it was getting too real for me man....to real...) it pains me to say it but I honestly think this is the truth. This sh*t was designed to drain your resources so that you have to either grind the he'll out of the game or break down and buy in game currency. If they wanted you to have fun or didn't care about SC sales, they would have made the CEO stuff playable in invite/friends only sessions.
FATE86
Outside of finding a session with the fewest people or no one entirely, I've used a method of grinding a mission for 20k five times and purchasing 100k worth of inventory, sort of ensuring that whatever I lose has no negative affect on my bottom line. I don't play CEO often though, IMO it is half baked.
Primer31
I just gave up. After being rocketed while driving an rv, i've had enough. I'm driving the already slow rv while fighting cops. Then a player in a car tries to kill me. I kill him. Then a hydra comes in and kills me and destroys the package. Real fun. I re-spawn only to have the hydra player make another pass and kill me again. This game is taylor made for trolls. I leave people alone. There should be a way to do ceo work without people killing you just to kill you. And you shouldn't have to spend half your time playing trying to make or find an empty lobby. There is more that one type of player who plays this game. If they want to blow each other up all day fine. I should have the option to be left out of it while i do my thing. Having to deal with people who just want to kill everyone takes the fun out of it.
Jammsbro
CEO was the start of GTA Onlines death knell. It really stabbed the hell out of the fun of the game. Now it's a well encouraged troll fest. Rockstar seemed to have wanted to make a game mode where randoms control and destroy everything players worked for, then the random just drives away. Nothing lost, nothing risked. While the CEO stands there with his cargo and finances in tatters. It was the last straw for me. I really can't see me playing online again until the next version comes out. I was begged by a long time friend to start playing this game for years. So, i finally caved. I gave up cod because of the cheating in that game. I wanted to play a game that had more depth. This game does. But some people only enjoy causing others problems. If i wanted to play team deathmatch, i would go back to cod. As i see it, the kill trolls destroy the idea of the game. They make it hard to do some of the more in depth aspects of the game. Edited July 5, 2016 by Primer31
GTA_dog
It was fun during the creator warp glitch. I would always go after rank 1000+ running crates and kill them. They wouldn't see it coming and I can feel good about trolling a nogit player.
