Quick Question.

During boat pickup VIP missions after you've received the crate and drive back to the airport in the boat, how the hell do you get inside the airport? I lost 22k trying to get inside, I tried spawning a buzzard and a Luxury Helicopter VIP Ability but it spawned inside the airport. Most frustrating thing ever, especially with the timer to get back to the warehouse.

There's precisely one destructible fence left on NG btw, which is around a ped gate on the far south wall, at the base of the N/S runway, on the left if you're standing on the runway looking South.

 

But yeah if you're there, on foot, you're doing it wrong anyway. Beach the boat by the airport LSC, or fly.

Like others say above - do this by helicopter.

 

But if you're in a boat, pilot it further up the coast and take the inlet towards the large multi-helipad right next to the marina. You come out near main roads and easy access to Pegasus/NPC helicopters.

I always use the helicopter, but last time I had got shot out of it so just in case it happens again I'll have a backup plan.

does on the beach. In the water call a Merryweather boat and shoot the driver. I find they're handy sometimes.

The waves swallowed my buzzard on the second crate run last night so yeah Merrywether boat pickup it was ...pretty cheap too and the wait period to get back to shore is just about the cooldown time for calling a chopper

Is it possible to do this with every vehicle? I thought i should deliver the vehicle with the crate inside it like the van or the bus. Does the crate wont blow with it?

I can't ever let them drive the boat, where do they even take you? I tried making waypoints but the dude always takes me miles away to some secluded beach nowhere near a road. It's like he's begging to be killed.

^^ Yeah, the problem with the Merryweather boat pickup is that, because you're in the water, you can't pull out a weapon to shoot the driver and then steal it like you can with the chopper pickup.

 

You have to get on board, then try and figure out a way to stand up while in the boat (and get enough distance away from the guy to pop him one), and THEN steal it. Grr.

You can spawn boats now, thankfully, and right next to you.

If it's a delivery vehicle then you'll have to drive it, if you destroy it then the crate blows up with it. But if you pick up the crates you can use any vehicle you want.

I never just hop in the passenger seat of a boat when swimming, anytime I do my character swims around like a merman under the boat. I've watched good men drown that way

 

If you jump aboard then aim above the drivers head and strafe down you'll hit him easily every time and won't risk running off the boat because you can walk easily when aiming.

Not quite right, it's the dinghy.

 

One of the new CEO abilities is to call a free dinghy from the interaction menu. You have to buy it first from docktease.com for $125,000, but it's really worth it to have a magic dinghy appearing next to you whenever you get stuck out to sea.
