it is in place to generate live multiplayer content in free mode that doesnt purely drain your GTA$.

Uh, there was a thread for jokes about the game a while back? I think you missed it.

It is not R*'s problem some of you simply cannot deal with it and play video games for all the wrong reasons.

I play the game to enjoy myself. I figure that's the right reason to play a video game right?

I fully agree that certain PVs and Pegasus vehicles should be able to carry the stuff. I wouldn't mind seeing my Dub 6X6 with crates shoved in the bed if I'm being honest.

Not gonna lie though, R* trolled people with those Cargobobs, happy I didn't buy one.

I'm curious about weapons and ammo - I've had 7 vehicles with that; 0 crates.

Has anyone else here ever had a weapons and ammo crate collection?

Ive been monitoring that ever since I saw it, im sure I had more then the 2 I remember but both were in a vehicle (gruppe6 and coketruck) also.

I cant you have now dipped to 61%

So, so far it looks like at a 3 crate buy your looking at about a 60-63% chance and at a 2 crate your looking at a 67-70% chance.

a bit off topic but can someone answer if i the buy option is the same for all warehouses? (as in if i look at my first warehouse and its say Gemstone. is it the same for all or is there a chance of say medical supplies in my second warehouse)

I think it's the same for all of them.

Updated my post again and added suprising day 3 results along with an overall percentage of V and C for all days combined.

However when I calculated 2 and 3 crates seperate the percentage was:

2 crates

68,75% V

31,25% C

3 crates

50% V

50% C

Right now ive switched to a combo of 3 and 2 crate collection along with 2 warehouses instead of one. In the end ill post these 2 n 3 package averages there also along with each warehouse percentage.

Maybe one has a benefit over the other allthough I highly doubt that. But might aswell test it while im at it.

Yesterday I was to busy so I did not get any data from it, today however ive filled 4 warehouses :)

Updated post can be found here

-Added averages for 2 and 3 crates

-Added day 4

It was a good day again for the vehicles and im getting the impression that slowly 2 and 3 % are getting close.

What is it with you people not having friends?

Even with friends its not all that great, no matter how good a friend you are with them, people are hard to motivate if they're hardly getting paid anything worth a damn in comparison to the work they're putting in, especially over an extended period. I do not even invite my friends cause I'd feel like I am ripping them off having them do all this work for me and all for a sh*t pay. Heists ran smoothly cause heist members were paid appropriately in accordance to the work they're putting in but with this, that is not the case.

As Trevor best put it, "Man Lester when there is no money involved you're a hard guy to motivate.".

Updated my previous post again, you can find it here

-Added day 5

With more and more crates being added I feel like there is not going to be any difference between 2 and 3 crate packages with one getting a higher chance of ending up in 1 vehicle then the other. I say this cause every day more data is added and with that the average % will become more solid and wont go up or down by allot anymore. Also when R* descided to make it easyer for one im sure there would be a 10% gap between the two right now.

As far as warehouses ( yet tested it only for 2 days now ) I feel like this makes no difference also, like we probably all predicted in the first place.

I am gonna add a few more days but if the numbers wont get a huge gap im calling it and make a final announcement with the facts so far.

Kind of bumpy, but it's that or make a new thread, so here goes:

Rockstar just gave us a great example of how a Buzzard can fit extra cargo in it:

3QJMrMP.png

^That's in the sale mission of a biker business. There were 3 Buzzards, each with 5 crates that had to be dropped at different places.

My point is anyway, if they can fit all those crates in (which we can see they can) - why do we have to go back and forth with CEO cargo crates? Biker stuff has stolen the thunder for now anyway, but this is just the first thing I thought when I saw the way they have that crate in the back there.

Had that last night for selling my forged docs, is that also a business delivery or have they added some new sales missions to the ceo warehouses?

Oh ok, I was wondering if I'd have to update the warehouse selling mission list and thanks, I'm progressively getting more and more fed up with seeing my f*cking face lol.

I hadn't seen this thread yet, but I agree--I wish these new methods of game play were a bit more lone wolf friendly. Since buying my first warehouse, I have bought a total of nine crates and sold zero; I think the last one I purchased was more than two months ago.

I'm slowly but surely trying to change my mindset, branch out a bit from the old routines, and take part in some of these new game modes--especially with what the new Biker DLC has introduced, but I feel extremely odd and maybe even apprehensive for some reason about inviting random people (that just happen to be in the same lobby) to join my organisation. I have plenty of friends on my PSN list, but they range from people I know extraordinarily well to people I can't ever even remember gaming with. The fact is though; many of the ones who still play GTA regularly play at very random times and all have their preferences as to what they like to do whilst playing the game. Sure, it would be nice to get a group together to partake in some of these jobs (I know of a few closer friends who might be willing, but again, time zones and schedules do not always align so well for us these days) and it just feels very different compared to when a friend of any calibre just happens to accept your job invite and you just naturally keep playing random jobs together until one of you has to sign off.

Either way, I would like to see more lone wolf friendly options; I understand that it negates the core concept of the Biker DLC, but it would certainly be nice on the CEO spectrum. I shouldn't have to make that many trips back and forth to pick up a few crates; that's just monotonous and maybe one of the reasons why I haven't bothered grinding out this particular game mode. That and my public lobby phobia, but hey, I'm working on that! :)

This definitely has my support as well!

Just wanted to weigh in on the discussion. It's not particularly difficult to actually find people to play with, no. But there's plenty of reasons why not every single player in every single online game always or often has friends available to play.

1. If you want to ALWAYS play with friends, you need to be in a large group/have a long friends list.

2. Serious teammates are hard to find. Run into random people and there's a good chance they'll stab you in the back.

3. Maintaining even an online friendship (even more so if it's specifically for just one game) can be annoying. It's a bit easier to do this if you're not adding people to your friends list as a means to an end, the end being safely collecting and selling special product in GTA:O. Basically, it's not genuine and that will affect the "friendship".

4. Not everyone plays a single game all the time for a very long period. I'm sure there's plenty of people who have played GTA:O perhaps almost daily since it came out. I've played since it came out, but with just about every game I've ever played, not non-stop. With all the other games that are available (even just those I already own) and the amount of things real life has to offer which often require effort and time as well, I simply cannot commit to playing GTA:O for several hours every single day for months on end. It'd be nice if we would live to be 1000 years old, but I just don't have that time. I'm sure many others also don't.

Ofcourse you can say: why bother at all then? Well because games are made to entertain and distract people and there's really no reason people with less time (or odd schedules, or long breaks) should not be able to enjoy games like these. More importantly, where exactly is the logic in forcing people to play a specific way? It wouldn't harm sales if Rockstar stopped trying to force everyone to just **** around with others in free mode all day long.

It makes very little sense to make the game in any way less accessible to those who prefer to play alone.

Honestly, I can write up quite the list of things I think Rockstar could have done (and still could do, but who would I be kidding, the game's been out for years) to improve this game. Too many times have I seen something in the game and wondered what kind of logic they were applying. In this particular case, how hard could it be to simply reduce costs AND profits for players doing these activities by themselves? They still get to enjoy the game and make a little money, but they'd also still have incentive to play with others. Fair balance.

Instead, Rockstar chooses to try and force everyone into public sessions and constantly put a huge target on the back of anyone who is doing something that makes them or their virtual wallet vulnerable. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's ridiculous that we can't only see player blips, but that the game actively encourages players to troll others. Some guy is going to sell all of his crates? Have a couple thousand for causing a million dollar loss. The blips are one thing (and all people need, they'll chase and kill eachother anyway) but actually telling people to go and be pricks to others?

Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I don't think game developers should be encouraging that kind of behaviour AND making their games less attractive to a large group of players.

But then, I guess they're rich enough not to have to care.

Long story short, respectfully: **** off with your "get friends lol". If you're an adult, you should realise it's NOT that simple.

I'd like to do heists alone crate work alone and biker stuff alone. I know it's not Rockstar's intentions for me to do that but my play times are wildly sporadic and so is my play style.

I'm doing the best I can alone and with randoms in freeroam. It's hit or miss. Some days are very productive some days not so much. Oh well if I'm left out of some of the activities that require more then me for a long period, so be it. I'll have to deal with it.

I would be incredibly happy if all this content was "lone wolf" friendly. I have no problem with freeroam and the players there. I have no problem standing up and defending my products but selling a full wearhouse is clearly designed for a group and I'll have to deal with that too.

as i see it R* could make things work a lot better if they made it MC only sessions. there would still be the spirit of anarchic unpredictability that they want us to contend with, but everyone would compete on a level playing field with access to the same weapons and services. no jets=happy players. whether attempting CEO or MC work, it's not the other orgs or clubs in session that are the real problem

seems the players benefiting at the moment are jet griefers (vs motorbikes and vans), who i understand now have indestrucible hydras thanks to R* breaking something yet again..., :facedesk:

5 days of GTAO CEO crate work (small warehouses)

So far ive bought 63 packages of 2 crates and 49 packages of 3 crates stuffing them in a small warehouse and not selling before it was full and the order was:

Day 1

Afternoon:

VCVVVCVV (filled Convenience Store Lockup)

VCV (started filling Convenience Store Lockup)

Evening:

VVVVC (finished filling Convenience Store Lockup)

CVVVCVVV (filled Convenience Store Lockup)

Day 1 had 75% V and 25% C

Day 2

Afternoon:

VVCVCCVC (filled Convenience Store Lockup)

VVCVVCCV (filled Convenience Store Lockup)

Evening:

VVVVVC (filled Convenience Store Lockup with 3,3,3,2,2,3 crates)

Day 2 had 64,6% V and 35,4% C

Day 3

Afternoon:

VCCCVV (filled Convenience Store Lockup with 3,3,3,3,2,2 crates)

VCVVVC (filled Convenience Store Lockup with 3,3,3,3,2,2 crates)

Evening:

VCCCCV (filled Celltowa Unit with 3,3,3,3,2,2 crates)

Day 3 had 47,92% V and 52,08% C

Day 4

Afternoon:

VCVVCC (filled Celltowa Unit with 3,3,3,3,2,2 crates)

CVVVVV (filled Convenience Store Lockup with 3*,3,3,3,3,2 crates(* blew 1 up out of 3))

VVV (started filling Celltowa Unit with 3,3,3 crates)

CV (started filling Convenience Store Lockup with 3,3 crates)

Evening:

VVV (finished filling Celltowa Unit with 3,2,2 crates)

VCCV (finished filling Convenience Store Lockup with 3,3,2,2 crates)

Day 4 had 73,44% V and 26,56% C

Day 5

Afternoon:

VVCVCV (filled Celltowa Unit with 3,3,3,3,2,2 crates)

VVVCVV (filled Convenience Store Lockup with 3,3,3,3,2,2 crates)

Evening:

VVVCVV (filled Celltowa Unit with 3,3,3,3,2,2 crates)

VVCVCV (filled Convenience Store Lockup with 3,3,3,3,2,2 crates)

Day 5 had 75% V and 25% C

V means all crates were in 1 vehicle

C means all crates were seperate pickups

% are measured per crate not per package

Average for all packages combined:

68,01% V

31,99% C

Average for all 2 packages:

68,25% V

31,75% C

Averages for all 3 packages:

67,80% V

32,20% C

So this week I got bored with CEO Vehicle work(made allmost 40mil with it) so I thought why not switch to Crates n finally get 20mil cash clutter..

Ive bought a medium and large warehouse while they were on sale just to be able to spawn a Brickade and Rumpo but seems im actually using them now.

So I wrote down the V and C again for those cause ive never tested if it makes any difference owning and using a small, medium or large for the chance of getting a 3 crate job or a single vehicle.

Large warehouse:

VVVVV

CVCVV

VVCVV

CVVVV

CCVVV

VCCVV

CCVVV

VVVVC

VCVVC

CC

Averages for all 3 packages:

68,09% V

31,01% C

Medium warehouse:

CVCVC

VVVVV

VCCCC

VCVVV

VCVVC

VV

Averages for all 3 packages:

62,96% V

37,04% C

Conclusion:

Suprisingly the large warehouse has exact the same % as the small warehouse test ive done months ago so I would say it's safe to say the percentages are the same for all 3 size warehouses. Eventhough the medium is 5% lower id blame that to the lack of packages thus far (only 27) and I find it hard to believe they make it the same for a large and small but change it for a medium one. So to sum it up: it is in my believe they devided it at around 66/33% for all warehouses. So when you fly out of your office the chance of getting a crate mission is one in every 3 missions on average.

Don't know why this thread exists, for cargo missions ARE lone-wolf friendly already.

It's just not as effecient as having a crew with you for 3 crate missions. Which makes sense tbh.

Although, it would be cool to occasionally get a tip on a larger haul, similar to rare special cargo, where players could jack like a full shipment of product equalling like 5-10 palettes of product.

Well you call it inefficient, others call it unfriendly. The thing is they now showed with I/E that it is not necessary to have a 3 or 4 man crew to source efficient so why are you saying it makes sense? Also we only wanted some vehicle or option to eliminate that boring back n forth flying.

I like that idea aslong as it aint single crates lol, imagen flying back n forth 10 times _o-

Something like a truck trailer delivery, cargo plane, or tugboat with all the crates in it was my thinking.

I think I/E is cool to lone wolf to a point. The larger collections are where the good payouts are with zero investment. So, for sourcing it better to be alone but for selling it's better to have associates IMO.

I'm a jerk and a troll and even I find friends. Lone wolfing is for the weak!

It isn't weak; many of us have plenty of online friends, but there are times when we prefer to do things at our own pace and perhaps take refuge in the solitude. Besides, what if our friends are playing other games, are involved with something else, or aren't even online? Given the overall toxicity of the online community, many randoms aren't to be trusted and there are times when we haven't the time nor the energy to take such a gamble. There's nothing wrong with playing alone and there is nothing wrong with playing with friends; each have a time and a place within this game.

Hunter got busted!? Nooooooo whhhyyyeeeeeeee?????

Hunter is still very much here with us (albeit with a new account). His previous account fell victim to the hands of some rather backhanded and unsavoury forces.
